Straps are super thin and sole is like a cheap flip flop. Not comfortable.

I love the sandals except for the foot pad. It is nonslip so all the raised bumps make them abrasive to the soles.

The base of the sandle was comfortable but the straps were not. If the straps were adjustable they would have been more comfortable.

Something about this design is just different against my pinky toe. My univerals and midform universals and my slides are all very comfortable and assumed these would fit similarly. I was really excited to buy these, imagining all the outfits they would go with thanks to their slimmer straps. The strap just kills my pinky toe, no matter what I do. Bummed because they're so cute. Sad to have to return them.

I have 2 pair of these thin strapped Teva's from a decade ago and the older style has a double strap on the small toe area, providing expansive, comfortable support for this area of the foot with a sleeker design. This newer design totally missed what is needed for a recreational/walking/hiking design wise waterproof sandal

Very cheaply made. These are not comfortable - they feel like cheap flip flop material, both the part you step on and the straps (scratchy plastic-like). Definitely not worth the price. I have an old pair of this style that I love and have worn for years. The new ones are not Teva-quality. Returning.

I received an email asking me to review my purchase now that I've had a chance to test it out. I would love to have my purchase except it never arrived. I called 10 days after it was supposed to have arrived and found that Teva opened an investigation on it because they already knew it didn't arrive. I was told to wait until mid March for a resolution (ordered at the beginning of January). I asked to receive updates, but of course, I haven't. So, no, I can't leave a review of the product because I still don't have it, and don't even have my money back.

Purchased the Original Universal Slim Sandal and upon unboxing immediately knew they were not for me. The soles were thinner than I expected, quality felt as if they were dollar store flip-flops. Tried them on and whilee the sole provided some cushioning, it felt as if I had on a thick sock, I could still feel the floor.

Buckle on strap rubs my ankle raw.

This product looks cute but is NOT friendly to the feet. My family and I have bought 4 pairs and every single pair had created blisters on our feet. These specific "slim" sandals have torn up my feet. In addition to the blisters, they do not have any grip for wet surfaces. I slipped while wearing them at a Waterpark and scraped the side of my foot.

I believe this shoe is actually dangerous. The front of the sandal, just ahead of the toes, is floppy. When I took a step, that section of the soul would catch on the carpet and make me stumble forward. Really concerning, even though the shoes are attractive and true to size, I can't take the chance of a fall when walking on carpet.

I was surprised by these Tevas. They're cute but they hurt to wear. The material used in creating the straps is very coarse and felt like it was sanding off my skin after just minutes. I only wore them for about 30 minutes to test whether my feet could get used to them. The longer they were on the more they hurt. I sent them back for a refund.

These shoes fit nicely and are cute (I ordered one size down from normal), but after a few weeks of wear, they start making a squelching noise whenever I wear them.

I was really excited about this new style with the slimmer straps but it feels like I'm walking barefoot in the worst way possible. My shins were hurting which has never happened to me with any other shoes. I regret getting rid of my universal midform ones because those were sooo comfy and cute *sigh*

The heel strap is too low and feels like it will slip off. The footbed actually almost HURTS! I wore them once and can't return them now! Worst Teva ever!!

I have several pairs of Teva shoes. This one is by far the most uncomfortable shoe in my closet. It hurts. !
