I found the slim to be too slim for me. The straps are 1/2 inch wide and I felt insecure walking in them. They may work for someone else, though. The product is well made.

I loved my leather slim strapped Teva's which I wore for many years. Since those were no longer available in black, I decided to try the new black slim. The composite inner sole is textured and feels like I have coarse sand in my shoes. I find this quite uncomfortable. I do like the narrow straps but these shoes lack the quality and comfort of my original leather Teva's.

I really love the thinner strap aesthetic. So many of the sandals have a geriatric orthotic shoe look. The coral color was beautiful and fun. My problem was this metal ring binding front straps. It's uncomfortable on the top of my foot and I bought these to wear for things like beach, pool, water park, kayaking etc. Anyone who's into these things knows something metal is going to superheat out in the sun. You'll have to hide your shoes under a towel so you don't get burnt. Tens please Find a way to remake these thin straps without the metal and please make a thin strap slide version (no irritating thong) and I'll be all in for a pair in every color.

I loved the look of these, and they were so comfortable. I bought them for a trip and after the third day I noticed the front of the footbed was starting to come apart. Really disappointed in the quality because these would otherwise be a perfect sandal for travel.

i wanted this to be my everyday sandal. I'm breaking them in but the little metal triangle where the small toes are, are digging into my skin. Still trying to get comfortable with them, so far I can only use them a limited time.

I wear a AA and I can adjust the straps to fit me which is great. The arch support looks like it's good but for me not so much. My arches are killing me and I only went grocery shopping. I'll keep them for short jaunts but I wouldn't wear them for something that would have me on my feet for a couple hours. The footbed is also very textured. It's odd feeling. If you don't need support for plantar fasciitis like I do then these could be fantastic!

I bought 2 other colors in this style- the blue and green ones, and they were perfect! This one came and it's not this pretty orange color as shown in the pictures here. It's a coral color. Looks terrible because I was expecting the lighter orange from the pictures!

I was hoping these would be more like the Sirra model, which they are not. I like that they are slim but the footbed and sole tread are just okay.

Please, please, PLEASE bring back the original slim strap version (less heavy) with the nice foot bed vs this one with a flip flop footbed. Why did Teva stop production on something beloved?

very flat, no support, returned

Very disappointed. Flimsy, not enough support for me.

This is my second pair and I have been very disappointed with the second pair's fit when my first pair was so great. The front is too long sand the strap irritates my toe on the left side

Even though they're not super expensive, still really don't seem worth it, felt and appeared quite cheap. Didn't seem like they'd be particularly comfortable. And it makes zero sense that the toe strap is likely not tight enough for many people but you can't tighten it without having the strap hang down past the velcro

I was looking for the "original slim" sandal than I have been wearing for years. What i received was a sandal that was comfortable but not at all like the original. Straps different. Sole different material and not formed like the original. I have had them for less than a month and the top of the sole is torn. Very disappointed. These should not be represented as the original slim. I am able to provide pictures. Lastly, would prefer they come in 1/2 size. I will be returning these.

These are t much more than flip flops, which doesn't seem worthy of the price. I would never even have picked them up if I'd seen them in person - returned them.

The strap over the toes cannot be tightened without having the Velcro extend beyond the sandal footbed (so it drags and looks sloppy and potentially creates a trip hazard). This results in the sandals being too loose and the toe of the sandal catching on the ground (either dragging or folding under) which is also a trip hazard. I'm bummer because they are cute and look like they should be more secure than a flip flop, and don't look quite as casual as a flip flop.

I bought these for my vacation and lived the way it looks with my outfits but one evening I walked. A few blocks and I developed blisters where the metal piece goes over your pinky. Tried wearing them again and same thing no matter how I adjusted the straps the problem was the same.

The thinner straps are not nearly as comfortable as the wide ones and caused some blisters under the front straps. I hope you consider offering them again with wide straps - I wear them all the time and could always count on them holding up and being really comfortable

I love the fit of the Universal Slim- so comfy for work, river walking, hiking, etc. I have 4 other pairs and decided to get the new color, Acorn. It is legit 100% Bandaid tan - the fabric bandage color. Too pink to be camel, too orangy brown to be pink. It doesn't match anything - it's just ugly. I missed the return window so they now live in a box in the closet until a day in the far, far off future when my next of kin come to clean out my things. Who knows? Maybe the color will be a great vintage find in 50-70 years. Universal Slims are awesome, skip this color.

I had expected these sandals to be of the quality of 'old school' Tevas, but they seemed very cheaply made. The foot bed didn't gave any shaping other than a minimal rise in the arch. The surface felt very uncomfortable and the straps seemed that they would rub. The heel strap didn't come up high enough st the back and kept slipping off despite trying to adjust the strap tightness. Very disappointed and returned.

too flat and thin for me

I shouldn't have ordered these. I have several pairs of Teva sandals and swear they are the BEST!!! I didn't like the narrow straps as much as I thought I would and I REALLY prefer the soles of the Hurricane XL2.
