The shoe's are well made and good quality, however they are not comfortable. They need more padding in the sole.

In size 14 was too short and medium, my usual was too narrow toward the toebox. Not true to size Nicely made but useless for me. Was trying size as to order my joy custom. No chance. Very disappointing.

These shoes look absolutely wonderful, but they are not good walking shoes. They fit large, and I wear size 14. I returned the shoes and will try the hyper flex BOA. Refund was not an option. I need a good walking shoe, since all I do is walk the coarse when I play. The folks that I talked with were all real nice.

Wish they would have just upgraded the icons for this past season. The heel on these feel way too high and just an awkward look. I'm a size 9, so not the best foot to go off of. But just feel as if the shoe is pushing me forward when I stand in them. Not trying to wear high heels when I'm out on the golf course. Not nearly as sleek looking as the Icon either, sort of clunky.

Not the durable DryJoys I grew up with. After switching to other brands, I was excited to return to FJs with the launch of the really sharp Premiere Series. But now I'm on my second pair, experiencing the same issue that occurred to the firstthis time within just 27 holes of play. As at least a couple others have pointed out, there's a defect in the toe area that results in the sole separating, which in addition to grass constantly being stuck in the toe I presume will eventually create a sealant concern for the waterproofing of the shoe. You would think this would have shown up in testing given that the toe portion of golf shoes often is reinforced or covered to ensure durability. The first time this happened, I had to return the first pair before they would ship the replacement. Not only is that a 2 to 3 week process if your style/size is in stock, requiring me to revert back to old shoes that I otherwise would never wear again, but the replacement options are limited because many of the styles/sizes are back ordered. I plan to reach out to FJ again about this issue and the second pair with the same defect, but because it is occurring again, I felt compelled to report my experience for others considering this shoe to keep in mind. The picture I'm posting is from the first pair. If this defect were to be fixed, I would recommend these shoesbut until this, buyer beware.

Expensive, poorly made, uncomfortable, thin tongue. Don't buy. I have had several pairs of Footjoys. They used to be well made. What happened?

I've purchased several pairs of these and subsequently sent them back to be replaced under warranty. Effectively the shoe sole separates. It has been the same issue several times and I shouldn't continue to wear them but they look great and are extremely comfortable. If FootJoy will warranty them though I'll continue to wear them.

Looks good. Valued too much form over function to be called premier. I have four pair of foot joys, and these are the least comfortable. The laces don't even go through the tongue to hold the tongue in place. The new fJ pro sl I think has two sets of tongue holders, they look great and are super comfortable. What happened with the focus on comfort and walking 18 holes? Great looking in a magazine cover but don't live up to the fj brand.

Yet another case of overpriced, cheaply made goods. They look great in the box, but that's where the positives end. The leather wears quickly and the uppers are clearly glued to the soles. What a nice waste of $200+.

These are the most comfortable and stable golf shoes I've worn, however after playing 2 rounds in them (in 90 degree, dry weather, using a cart) the stitching is starting to fray, which is very disappointing at this price-point.

These shoes look and feel great, no question. In my eyes, a return to the top aesthetically and functionally for Footjoy after a few awkward and overly technical years. Really happy with how they perform on the course, as well, a very traditional drop and stable feel. My issue is with the durability of the shoe and perhaps the quality of the leather used. I have some cracks through the finish of the white leather appearing after only a handful of times wearing them. I am concerned that in another couple of months, these will look like an old, weathered pair of shoes.

A classic looking shoe and comfortable, however, after two full rounds the sole started to separate from the shoe. I returned them to the authorised dealer I purchased them from and received a replacement pair...hopefully it was just a one off pair that were not fit for purpose...

On first use the seam in the back of the shoe did serious damage to my heel and I'm having to treat an open wound now. Seems to me the back of the shoe should be a single piece of leather to prevent rubbing on the heel.

Shoe came as advertised, but a bit smaller in fit than the icons. The shoe is significantly less comfortable than the icon, but am hopeful it's just a matter of breaking them in, which wasn't the case with icon.

I've just gotta say I've been waiting for these to come back out for years now. When I originally wanted these ... many years ago now they took them off the shelf to re-engineer them so I didnt get my hands on a pair. So when I seen they where re-realsing these I was so pumped. These are a BEAUTIFUL shoe. I dont even want to wear them on the course. Not only that they fit my feet well. BUT.... These are NOT comfortable at all and have worn these a few times now in the simulators and have not been impressed with the longevity of comfort of these cleats. I would not buy these again.. maybe a different style.

5 months in and there is lead toe side rubber separation - I have read this happening to other people in other golfing forums. Bought from my golf club in the new financial year and only used maybe twice a month? The shoes feel amazing, I love them but what is the go with the durability? Frustrating and unacceptable considering the price? (It's outside the 90 day warranty but 10 rounds of usage?!)

After only a handful of wears, I found a tear in the surface leather. This should not happen if if walking in normal rough. I have purchased cheaper Footjoys in the past that have lasted at least two years and have never experienced such poor quality material in "cheaper Footjoys" that is so easily damaged. A very comfortable shoe. A pity about the resilience of the outer material

At age 56 I have never purchased another brand of golf shoe but Footjoy. Last week I bought a new pair of Premiere Packard's..Footjoy's best shoe. My last pair is 3 years old and it was time. The new shoe is not even close to the quality of the previous version. I will be returning it this week and buying Adidas. Unfortunate that a brand I trusted has sold out to the land of cheap.

Leather on right shoe was wrinkled and apparently coming loose from the underneath shoe base. Tried on and amazed how poor the quality assurance team was that sent the shoe to me.

Longtime FJ customer, since 1980s. Currently have 7 pairs of FJs, 3 of which I bought this year (including 2 pairs of Premieres). I rotate, use cedar shoe trees and take care of all my shoes. To my surprise, the outsole of one of the Packard shoes has started peeling off after only 7 rounds!! I was stunned. I of course know these are not made in MA anymore and the quality isn't the same. I only expect to get a golf season out of most. But when you buy FootJoy Premieres, you expect a little more. This is a defect and I saw other reviewers had same issue. Just really disappointed. I take pride in wearing a classic FJ golf shoe. I want to trust my shoes. That's why I buy FJ. Bummed out to say the least.

Woud leave zero stars if I could for the product and the service. Really disappointed. The insoles wore out after light use. Footjoy cannot replace or recommend the correct replacement. Nor can their oem partner ortholite. Aftermarket insoles do not fit. Perfectly good shoes are now useless because of a shoddy spare part that probably costs footjoy pennies. I did try to resolve this but the email correspondence was not good. Polite on the phone but no resolution. I will never buy footjoy again and will tell anyone who will listen to avoid. I probably have about 40 years golf left if I'm lucky.
