The sandal is worn casually. The slight platform is appreciated since I am only 5' 2" short.

These are so cute!! Can not wait to wear them during the summer with cute boho outfits!! I ordered a size 6, I am usually a size 7 in most of all UGG products. These fit true to size. The straps are also adjustable. I did feel a little rubbing in the toe area from the part that goes over that part of the foot, but it was not bad. I don't think these would be good long distance walking shoes but maybe after they are broken in more.

Love the sandal but.,if was too wide for my foot. I tried tightening with the straps but it just didn't make it tight enough Maybe try a smaller size
