I found the Ghost 16 fitted much narrower than the Ghost 15. I always get a D width. The 16 ordered online was just tight. I went to a local Academy store and found the Ghost 16 in the D & EE width. The EE was what fit, however, I didn't find the same color as I ordered online and haven't found it since. I don't really understand the width difference from one version to another but it didn't work for me.

I already have a pair of Ghost 16 sneakers which I love. This new pair which I ordered was in a different color. The fit is too tight in the toe box. Why did you change it when you had a great sneaker? Unfortunately I will have to look into another brand of sneaker that is consistent in size. This is my second return as the other pair ordered from a reputable on line retail store.

Got a new pair of Gost 16 to replace my old Gost 16 and way to small. I have been buying this same shoe for years.

I have been a long time fan of the ghost, finding it to be truly a perfect shoe like so many others. Every new model that has come out always fit perfectly with no break in period. Well with the exception being the 16's. The expected quality was there and fit for the most part, except the new profile of the sole that now puts a pressure point onto the side of your foot where there was just mesh previously. I only needed to walk in them for about 5 minutes before I realized it would be major problem with added miles. I understand everyone has a different fit and for many, I'm sure this shoe works quite well. But for now I'll hunt for the older 15's and hope the 17's may reconcile that issue.

purchased London Fog/Falcon/Coconut. Color looked more grey than any shade of green. I wear a 10.5 but these ran small. Ended up returning them and buying the Adrenaline by Brookes.

I've had the Ghost 15 for a couple years and for the 16, they changed the insole and it's horrible - made my feet hurt and then I noticed my back started hurting as well. Why do companies do this?, the 15 was perfect. The whole reason I went to Brooks was because New Balance did the same thing a few years ago with their insoles, ruining the sneaker. Tried Brooks, loved them, and now I'm in the same boat as the company changed a perfect insole.

I have narrow, long feet. Bought the Ghost16 men's US12 B width with high hopes. When they arrived I compared the Bs to a pair of Ghost16 men's US12 EE width I had access to and... the widths were identical. Granted this is a sample of one, but Brooks QA/procurement needs to look into what's going on at the factory and why the B narrow shoes are just as wide as the EE wide shoes. Returned the Bs and am looking elsewhere for narrow shoes, as I can't trust that Brooks Bs are in fact narrow....

Bought these shoes cause they seemed really comfortable, when I tried them on. After my first run of 9 miles, my feet were really sore. This was to be expected, as I just ran 9 miles. Second time I did a 3.5 mile run, about half way through I felt my feet on the side of my arch to blister. Needless to say, looking back these shoes were not as good as I expected. And now I'll use them one last time, for a spartan race in the mud to destroy them. Sadly I won't be buying brooks again.

I've been running in Ghosts for around 15 years. Size 11 at regular width on repeat 2x a year. This model does not work for me at all. Blisters in places I've never had before and my running store said people are having to size down. Returned the first pair after 20 miles and tried the new smaller size down. Even worse blisters. Ran the Chicago marathon in the size down and my feet are more messed up than ever. I hate to have to switch brands after this but don't know what to do. Tried 10-11 in different widths, nothing works! Ghost 14 are still my favorite

Unfortunately I am in the boat of several other reviews here. The fit of these is wildly different from previous Ghost models. I always anxiously await release of Ghosts, because, I'm my experience, they're always just a little better than the last one until now. I found myself checking the size of these because they were so tight and uncomfortable. The lace area, even when looser, cut into my feet. After I bought my first pair, I immediately bought several of the clearance Ghost 15s as they were perfection. Hope to come back for the 17's, so please fix this.

I was always a Ghost fan and also used the Launch GTS series, but the Ghost 16 gave me blisters right out of the box. And I never get blisters. They seem tight in areas the old models used to be more roomy. What a shame, I guess I cannot count on these to be a shoe I can trust.

I purchased these shoes in May with the plan to use them as my daily drivers for work; walking on concrete floors and the occasional football field. I've been surprised to find that the rubber soles have already worn through to the foam in just three months. I really expected to get a much longer lifespan out of these and can't imagine how fast I would have burned through them if I was running. I've also notices a seam or some other rub point at the top of the toe box that's present on one shoe, but not the other. I'm not sure what that's about. In the end, I wouldn't purchase another pair of this model.

Only fault is the plastic liner in toe. Meant to keep toe puffed out.
When up on toes the liner hits top of toes.

Bizarrely, these shoes are at least half a size larger than the Brooks Ghost 15.

A hard plastic line in front and sides. The edge caught top of toes. Otherwise nice shoes.

Plastic lift on top of toes may look pretty but never on a running shoe. Returning.

They feel small. In fact, after 1 mile I stopped to check the size.

there is no way ever that I ordered a size 14 shoe. I ordered two pairs that day and the other one is 11.5 and fit good.

I absolutely love my Ghost 15's (got several pair of them), so my hopes were high for the 16's... But .. they are incredibly tight and uncomfortable in the width, in spite of ordering to the wide 2E version. Too bad... Returning them

Not happy. I half blame my Dr for even recommending them. I'm disabled and cannot just return the shoes. Suppose to be 14 exta wide thats what they are labelled. One shoe is too big, other way too small. 300lbs of body weight combined with the compression of the soft thick sole, has sprung weight causing pressure sores. Way to soft and thick for my body profile.

I've only worn these shoes a few times and the bottom of the sole is peeling up. I've now worn them twice more and that part is peeled up enough that it catches when I walk and another piece toward the back is also peeling. I'm very disappointed.

I think I got unlucky with this pair of shoes (first time ever I must admit) because they don't seem to be well built. There are several points of friction with the foot that create a lot of pain and I had to stop using them altogether. The problem is that I don't think I can return them now. I gave them a good chance but it's been an unlucky experience for me.
