This is my 4th ghost and I usually buy 10 wide but this time I bought a 10.5 wide based on the sales person telling me the 10.5 is better for me. He did a thumb nail test and said the 10 or 10.5 is ok but the 10.5 is how it should fit based on where my big toe was in the shoe. All my other 10 wide actually feel more comfortable thats why Im rating it a 4 and not a 5 like in the past.

Overall its a good show but I think I like the Adrenaline better

fits good and feels good. I only walk 3 to 5 miles a day and they do the job for me

Recently purchased a pair of Ghost 16s. This is my 5th set of Brooks shoes. Before this, I went through 2 pairs of Ghost 14's and Ghost 15's. Zero issues with the 14's or the 15's. I loved both versions. Very comfortable, durable, and even resolved an issue I was having with the ball of my feet. Within a week of the new 16's, I developed a sharp pain in my right shin. Along with the pain came swelling. I do not run, but I do walk a lot (20-25,000 steps a day). This was not shin splints, which I've had before. This pain could not be stretched out, it was in a small area (vs spread with splints in the past), and didn't get better after warm ups. It was fine so long as I basically didn't walk more than 500 steps. The pain intensified after 500 steps to the point where I couldn't walk correctly. The pain eventually got so bad that I was taking NSIADs multiple times a day and wearing ice packs to relieve the pain and swelling. Nothing changed in my routine. No new exercise, no increased intensity, nothing. It wasn't until I was going somewhere (not wanting to get the new 16's muddy) that I put on the 15's and noticed I was able to walk with very minimal pain. Still there, but didn't increase as I walked. I stopped wearing the 16's completely and after almost a week, the pain is almost gone. I still get swelling here and there and continue to ice when needed, but I no longer need NSIAD's. I put a lot of trust in this shoe to the point where I didn't think twice about it being the culprit. I've recommended this brand to a lot of people, though now it seems it's time to find another.

I just ordered my second pair to be able to switch every other day. I tried the Ghost max but the Ghosts are much more stable for me. Im just a gym rat not a runner and every thing seems perfect on the Ghosts.

Best fit of any shoe I've ever had.

Love the fit and comfort, but the style/design/color choices are horrendous. Take a lesson from the other shoe companies: looks matter.

Fits fine length-wise but feels loose around the forefoot. Also doesn't seem to provide the same level of support as the earlier Ghost model I had.

Ive been searching for a running shoe that provides comfort and stability. These sneakers are by far the best sneakers I have ever worn. I had meniscus surgery recently which Ive been out of the mix for a while. These sneakers are helping me in my road to recovery. I purchased two pairs and couldnt be happier with my purchase. The quality is also well above the rest!

Great shoe. Vastly improved over ghost 15

After trying these on at a local store, I ordered online. I loved the ghost 15, however dispute the similar for I am not thrilled with the shorter and fatter ghost 16. The overall feel is clunky and slow. The nitrogen heal is definitely stable and soft but it throws off the toe box creating an inconstant foot strike which feels slippery when moving quickly. The laces are too short and too fat Hopfly you can bring back the older version ghost 15 was prime

Great shoes for walking or running. For years I have worn the big name shoes, no more. This is my 3 pair I am happy with how they feel and how long they last

I have been running in Brooks Ghosts for several years. This model 16 seems to be as good or slightly better than earlier models. Thanks

I love the Ghost 16! Been running in Ghosts for 20+ years. They get better and better! Most cushion yet

Not bad, but I prefer the Adrenaline 22 GTS over the Ghost 16. The Ghost 16 are light and comfortable, but the Adrenaline seem to fit my feet much better

These run small. Ive used ghosts for years at 8.5 and bought 2 pairs of the ghosts 16s so I could save money on shipping. Disappointing that my feet have been cramped with the new shoes and I got to spend more time and money to return and buy new ones. Oh well, cant win them all.

I love the ghost 15 for both road running and treadmill running. I do a lot of treadmill running and need a sneaker with cushion. The Ghost 15 was perfect for both outdoor and indoor. Sadly, the ghost 16 are not as cushiony and causing me issues running on the tread. I have been getting foot pain in my right foot and starting to develop plantar fasciitis. I switch back to my old ghost 15 and noticed my foot pain/plantar fasciitis is getting better. I will be retuning the 16.

I love these shoes. My feet are really comfortable and fit perfectly

As someone who has had back surgery. Support and cushioning are at the top of my list. Brooks are absolutely one of best!

Let me start by saying I have always been happy with Brooks running shoes. This was probably my 13th or 14th pair but the first time I have purchased the ghost 16s. I am actually in the process of returning them. They dont run true to size, they are very uncomfortable and honestly seem a little cheaply made. I will continue to buy Brooks shoes just not the ghost 16s.

While at 75 years old I am not a runner, walking is very important to my health and vitality. After two pair of Ghost 15s, which I really like, the 16 feels even better. All around: better fit, better wrap around stability and better enduring comfort.

One of, if not the best shoe that has ever touched my feet. A wide but comfortable toe box. Super light, super snug like a custom foot glove. I have plantar fasciitis and the support I got from the first mile in these shoes blew me away. The pressure off of my heel within the first couple steps made these shoes worth every dollar. I wish I had knew about brook shoes years ago.

Like running on a cloud. Easy to break in. Plenty of room in the toebox
