Another pair of great Brooks!

I run varsity high school cross country and got these for training, hoping to have a more stable shoe and they are but when I run it hurts my heal a lot. I have around 300 miles on them and this hurt since the day I got them, would not recommend my longer road or trail runs.

I soend most of my time at work standing and Ive worn the Ghost line everyday to work for the past 5 years. Every time they come out with a new one I upgrade and every time they are just as good or better than the last.

I put over 400 miles on my last pair of Ghost 15s. I really liked them, so I ordered a pair of Ghost 16s in the same size. Maybe I got a defective pair, but they were very uncomfortable under/side of my big toe. I tried them a few times with different socks and it never helped. Luckily I could send them back to Brooks easily, I might run by a local store to see if another pair does the same.

I bought it for work and they are very comfortable,very stable and very light shoes

The shoes are comfortable and sturdy. Perfect for walking.

I purchase my Ghosts from Brooks Running online to prevent buying imitation shoes. I've purchased Ghosts since Ghost 10. I have always liked the comfort as soon as I put them on. However, the Ghost 16 pair I recently bought feel stiff and uncomfortable in the ankle padding. The insoles are also hard and uncomfortable. It seems to me that the quality of materials used changed after the Ghost 15.

This is my fourth pair of Brooks running shoes, and my third pair of Ghosts. As always, it's a great shoe, and I especially like that it comes in wide. No complaints at all. My only future request is that you make a zero drop variety of your running shoes. I have tried other brands and do not like them as well, but I'd love a zero drop brooks trail runner that comes in wide.

Smaller/tighter toe box than previous models. All other aspects of the shoe are as expected based on comparisons to past models.

Best design yet. The heel sets a little lower, but secure. Wish wide would become available more often.

I would rate as a "0" star if there was this option. Was looking forward to seeing if these could be my new "go-to" daily running shoe since I had read many great reviews about them. Size/fit was right on per the Brooks website. Shoes arrived on time as noted when purchased. Went to the gym the next day to break them in a little bit on a treadmill and get used to them. Ran a mile in them (but probably should not have gone that far). Knee pain!!! I run approximately 20 miles per week combined outside and on a treadmill and have NEVER had knee issues. It continued for 2 more days so I rested and did not run at all. Finally went away. Will not be recommending Brooks shoes to anyone for running.

When opening the package the first thing I observed was two dead spiders. Not much of an issue for me, I unpackaged them to put on. They were so tight I had to verify the shoe size by tongue. The shoes and not only tight in the toe, but the sides of the foot and ankle. I stretched the sides out in the event that the laces just had it too tight, still no use. The Ghost 15's were the best running shoes I've ever used. These were a huge let down. Guess i'll be trying another brand until the ghost 15's are available again. On another note, the website had a fairly simple return process.

Comfortable shoe. Great walking shoe.

Fits perfectly. I run 2 miles daily and hike 4+ miles and my previous Ghosts lasted for 18 months. Tried the cheaper Trace but found its cushioning inadequate.

The Ghost 16s feel a bit narrower up front than the 15s but otherwise very happy with them. The laces are much improved. I used to have to double lace the 15s but not these.

Very comfortable. Good support, but not firm. Great shoe for everyday running, but light enough you could speed train in them. I did race a marathon in these and my feet overall felt as good as they could! One of my 2-3 go to brooks models. I only run in brooks.

Great shoes. Cushioned enough to be comfortable for any run up to the marathon, but can still feel the ground and firm enough to pick up the pace (I race in these just fine, and PR'd a half). Please Brooks keep the stack low and the drop high (I have a bad achilles). Ghosts are one of the only shoes left that check all these boxes. Relative to other Ghosts: Ghost 12s used to be my favorite, but now these take the crown for their firmness, snappiness, and light weight. Ranking them from favorite to least favorite: 16,12,15,14,13.

Look good when new but a little bit disappointed that I got mud while hiking in Bali and it won't come out. Need to make the materials stain resistant.

I had a partial knee replacement and needed a shoe with support and cushioning. I like the Ghost 16, but I need more cushioning.

This is the most comfortable show for walking and running I have ever owned. I actually went back and bought two more pairs on the chance they discontinued the shoe before I went to buy them again. At first I was concerned at the cushion feel and the fact it threw my balance off ever so slightly. What I learned is that after a couple weeks, the balancing muscles in my feet, ankles and calves have greatly increased in strength and not only is it not a problem any more, I can feel that balancing strength even with bare feet or wearing other shoes. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Please never stop making this shoe Brooks!

Loved the 15 the 16 is to snug in the toe box .. why change the best shoe you ever made??

First and foremost, I will only wear Brooks shoes, they are absolutely the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, they feel like theyre broken in from the moment you put them on, extremely comfortable shoe, only thing I will ever wear

This shoe size feels smaller than norm, also not very comfortable while walking. Started getting pain in my foot. Tried wearing it a few different time over couple of weeks to see if my foot acclitimatize to this shoe but it did not work.

The fit and feel is superb with comfortable heel and arch support.
