I have worn Ghost shoes since the 12 iteration. These 16 do not disappoint. Comfortable and responsive for my short runs and daily walking. These seem to have a bit more launch after step than the 15 which I look for in any running shoe.

I'm really more of a walker than a runner, but over the last 2 years I have been averaging 14 miles/day - so foot comfort is a must! I tried numerous different walking/running shoes with very limited success - I am quite fond of the Brooks Adrenaline GTS and had a pair of Sauconys that I liked. But I have to say that the Ghost takes it to another level. I need a slighter wider shoe and the US 11 Wide is a perfect fit. The cushioning is noticeable but not overly plush, rather it's more of a springy feel which I love. The toe box is a bit bigger and issues I have had with my little toe pushing in have disappeared. The only caveat (as so many have mentioned) is the heel to toe drop of the 16 makes it less suitable if you are a forefoot striker. Very good ventilation, the shoe does not hold much heat. For walking these shoes are amazing - I actually find myself noticing how comfortable the Ghost is several miles into a walk.

I started wearing Ghost after being invited to run/walk with the homeless. The only way I know to describe them is... HAPPY FEET!!

My first and only favorite running shoe. Light on the foot, good toe box width (I'm in a 10 wide), and slightly molded to the heel to prevent slippage. Great padding.

Overall a nice shoe. Only downside tread lasted only after 200 running miles.

Survived a 50k spartan race with 60 obstacles (including lots of water ones). Although gross at the end we washed them and they looked good as new & are still wearable despite the amount of miles put on them.

The Brooks Ghost is an outstanding shoe for any runner or walker. I have been purchasing the Ghost since my first pair in 2015. They are durable, lightweight, supportive, and colorful. Please keep the Ghost alive for many more years to come. Thanks a lot!!

Excellent shoes, as usual! I've been running in Brooks Ghost for many years. I don't even compare alternatives anymore - I simply order one or two pair at a time and get running!

I have enjoyed wearing my ghost 16 shoes. I am a nurse on my feet all day and these are some of the comfortable shoes I have worn. Years ago, when I was a distance runner, Brooks was my shoe of choice. I am very happy with these shoes. Highly recommend them.

I can still run, a little, but at 80 I'm not a runner. My feet are in reasonably good shape but I have an arthritic big toe and need comfy shoes with good support. These are those shoes. And it is nice that I can find a style that is not too garish that I can wear to social events with nice casual clothes. A good buy.

Have worn Brooks Ghost shoes for at least 10+ years now ! These are one of four pair I rotate for different uses. Cutting the grass, daily walks and bike rides, casual outings and dressy occasions. Great, comfortable shoe for those with wide feet ! Wear these all day long and they feel like I'm walking on very sturdy, supportive but cushioned clouds ! Awesome shoes !

After reading feedback regarding the Ghost 16 being too narrow, I was a bit skeptical about purchasing this shoe. I have previously purchased the Ghost 13, 14, and 15 in a "D" width. The fit was perfect as always. I then purchased the Ghost 16 based on my previous experience with these shoes. I'm very happy to say this shoe fit perfectly just as my previous iterations of the Ghost. Therefore, I highly recommend the Ghost 16.

I'm a walker, not a runner, averaging close to 35 miles a week. My Ghost 16 is by far the most comfortable sneaker I currently own. Light, supportive and comfortable.

Brooks makes a great shoe that can stand up for miles of punishment and keep you comfortable.

No more sore feet when walking

Wow, a shoe that's wide enough! I've always had wide feet, and even though most 'wide' shoes are supposed to fit me, I've always struggled to find the right one. My first order from brooks I guesstimated my shoe at 11.5 (my normal length) and the width at 4e. Holy buckets! They fit! They are a comfortable shoe right out of the box. I'll have to put some miles down to see how they last, but so far so good. Proportions aren't out of whack for a wide shoe either. 5 out of 5 would recommend

Great fit Glad brooks finally went to a lower drop on the ghost

I'm not a runner. I only bought this shoe because A) it was advertised as one of the top most comfortable shoes out there, B) it had a remarkable amount of sizing options available, and C) unlike some other brands I have fallen out of love with, it -looks- like a shoe! It's great though. The comfort lives up to it's acclaim, and because I'm not a serious runner, I bought one "width" size larger for a more comfortable every day fit. I do wish they had more color/style options that were a little closer to what I was looking for, but I'll live.

I'm very pleased with these Ghost 16s. My feet are wide and I haven't found enough width in Women's shoes. However these Men's 2E width offer great comfort. I also tried the 4E but that was actually too wide. I am grateful for Brooks user-friendly return policy, allowing me to try options and easily return what did not work, for an amazingly fast refund. Very comfortable shoe that breathes well

My 5th pair.Good support and high arch. 2E fits my wide foot well.
