Comfortable right out of the box. I like the cushion and support. Run about 25 miles a week. I rotate between the ghost and glycerin.

After not being able to wear the 15's I am very pleased with the 16's. They are perfect for every day wear and long runs.

I love the comfort and fit of this shoe. They are very light but give great support. I've never been disappointed in my ghost. This has been my choice shoe for over a decade and every version just gets better and better.

I started wearing Ghost years ago. Then a revamp happened and made my feet feel they were going in a cardboard box. Fast forward to Ghost 16what a revamp! Cushiony and they feel so good on my feet! Thank you Brooks for making Ghost lovers happy again!

Loved my old Ghost. This new one looks too wide and funny on my feet. Returned them.

Needs more cushion in the heel.

Recovering from hip replacement. The Ghost 16 is just what my body welcomes as it works to recover and align.

Loved the fit from the heel to the ball of the foot, and just the right cushion and springiness, but the toe box was shallow and narrow.

Ive worn Brooks Ghost for many years. The shoe is now too narrow for me and hard. Maybe using too much plastic?

Ive worn Ghost shoes for many years and this version, 16, are the most comfortable out of all of them. They are supportive and feel great on my feet.

Im on my feet all day and theses are so comfortable.

I received the ghost 16 color: Surf/flower/whitecap (limited edition) as a gift and I absolutely love them. Not only do they look great but they feel great. These are my second pair of Brooks sneakers and they have quickly become my favorite sneaker brand for comfort, support & for both fashion & fitness.

Took my new pair on a 27 mile test run today. No break in, just bought and ran. The Good: They seem lighter and a tad springier than the 15. Overall no complaints or major issues. The toe box feels a bit narrower than other models. I had high hopes that the thinner tongue would help with the ankle rub I have dealt with and it was better but still managed to rub a small sore on the front of the ankle. Over all I was happy with them and felt like they were faster than the predecessor.

I'm on my feet a minimum 8 hours a day and Brooks are my go to for comfort and stability. My legs do not hurt at the end of the day nor do they cramp during the night.

I don't like the color selection for a 6.5 wide, I wish I had more choices. Otherwise, I love them.

These are so comfortable! Ive had horrible foot pain for months and although it isnt gone, these shoes have helped so much! Perfect for road running too!

I wear Brooks exclusively because of their wide sizing and support. I recently ordered the new Ghost 16 and wasn't impressed, it's not the same shoe. The fit is still great, but the fabric is very odd on the interior of the shoe, actually caused my skin to itch and breakout in a rash. Not sure if I can continue with this model

The Ghost are my favorite shoes and I buy every model. My question is why did you change the shoe strings to be so short for the Ghost 16? I understand why there were changes as they would come loose easily in the previous models. However, for the price we are paying we need longer shoe strings. I have arthritis and need to lace my shoes different then the normal way. The Ghost 16 does not allow me to do this. I know I am not the only person who changes the way they lace their shoes. The shoe strings are to short. I now have to purchase longer shoe strings. Please include longer shoe strings in the future. Thank you

I've been wearing Ghosts for at least 5 years now. I suffered from Plantar Fasciitis and Ghosts were recommended by my podiatrist, who is also a runner. I usually can tell when it's time to replace my Ghosts, because my PF will start to flare up on runs. I don't know what it is about the 16s... but my PF flared up immediately when I first took the new kicks for a run.

Disappointed in the 16 series. I have a few pairs of ghost 14s. They fit great. (Size 8) I am a 7 1/2 shoe, but 8 for sneakers. The 16s are much wider and not as supportive. (Tried the 7 1/2 , too small) I miss the 14s.

These are my favorite shoes ever. I have such a narrow foot, and when I saw you could choose the narrow option I was so excited. They feel like you are walking on clouds. I hope the narrow option never goes away. Its hard to find shoes that fit my feet this well!

What happened!! I have loved all my Brooks Ghost tennis until the 16s. They are no where near as comfy and my arches hurt as if Im wear another name brand shoe. I will stick with the 15s while I can get them.

Something in the redesign has altered the fit for runners with very high arches. The Ghost has been my go-to running shoe for many years, for better or for worse. This new version is a "for worse" for my feet. I will need to get extra long laces even to lace them up. There is NO clearance for a high arch, and the pressure on the top of my foot is terrible.

Will be going back to my Adrenaline after this. These have less cushion.
