Comfortable shoe, fits true to size. I prefer a shoe with more support

These are very comfortable with great cushion, but there is a fit difference between colors. I first purchased the Oyster/Black/Alloy in 8.5. This is my regular size and Im a solid Brooks customer for many years. They loved this shoe so much, I decided to purchase another pair in Ebony/Lavender/Copper, but the toe box was tighter and shorter than the other color I bought, which has a slightly different design. I think its best to try on in a store. I ordered online and had to return the second pair.

I dont know the specifics of the changes for the ghost 16, but I know it runs far better than the previous models. The support is fantastic, its not too squishy, its very responsive, and its excellent! Ive been wearing Brooks ghost since the 11 model.

I previously owned ghosts and loved them. The current pair I purchased did not live up this. The new pair rubs the inside of my back heel. The shoe almost doesn't seem made right.

Most painful shoes in the toe area I've ever owned. I will be putting them on Marketplace.

I have the grey ones with the black sole. I love the look, fit, and feel. I do have one complaint though. It may not be a big deal for other people, but it bothers me. If I had noticed this small detail I wouldve bought a different pair. Whatever that loop is that usually is on the tongue isnt on this particular shoe. The tongue of the shoe will not stay in place and is always sliding to the side. Super annoying.

I love the shoes they have great feel and comfort when running, my only complaint is part of the sole near the inner toe on one shoe has a chunk missing and not sure how that happened

Not sure why the reviews on these are mediocre- they are by far my favorite Ghost model ever! I bought 3 pairs already. They have the perfect amount of low cushioning and have helped some of my lingering knee issues.

Have plantar fascitis on my right foot and screws in my left heal. Feels Great on both feet with enough cushioning. Wear a narrow and they go quick.

They were incredibly comfortable when I first put them on. But I ran just three miles and my Mortons neuroma flared up after close to a year of no pain running in Ghost 15s. I had started running in Brooks to calm it down, and 15s did the trick. I assume the toe box is just different or a little smaller in the 16. I had to return them.

The ghosts are my go-to for everything from recovery to Marathons but for some reason my toes are rubbing in the toe box on the 16s. Ive had every version since the 10s and this is the first time Ive experienced this. Other than that I love them as usual. But a bit smaller fit in toe box.

Recommended by my podiatrist, I am very satisfied with my new Brooks Ghost shoes. They support my hard-to-fit wide 72-year old feet, allowing me to walk over distances in comfort.

I am not a runner, instead I have hip/leg/ankle/foot issues. They are painful and some days it's all I can do to take a step. A physical therapist recommended trying them and the difference was measurable. Not only does it help with alignment hip to foot, I have better balance when wearing them. I still have some pain, but nothing like I had before wearing this shoe.

Really comfortable shoes! I bought my ghost 16 in narrow and they fit my skinny little feet like a glove! The shoes is supportive and well balanced and the insoles are nice and springy with good cushioning. I will be making future brooks purchase's. I have terrible arthritis in my ankles and feet due to intensive surgeries in my teen years and these help with alleviating some pain when walking or standing. They do run a bit smaller than other brands, normally I wear a size 6 but a 6 1/2 in brooks fits like a 6.

I've had many versions of the Ghost. This one is still made well but doesn't feel like it provides the same arch support as previous versions. I know it's a neutral shoe but it also doesn't seem to have as much pronator support as my older pairs did either.

Not as comfy as the older versions of the ghosts. And there is no tongue holder in the shoe so the tongue of the shoe slides to the side after a few steps and is uncomfortable.

I just love my Ghost 16. I have worn the Ghost for several years and have yet to be disappointed. I also occasionally wear the Glycerin 21 but prefer the Ghost. They are comfortable and have nice cushioning. They fit my feet well and provide good support

This is my fourth pair of ghost sneakers. I have loved the 13, 14, and 15 but the 16 seems smaller /tighter in size even though i ordered the same size as before. It also seems to have a thicker sole which makes for less of a natural feel than the previous versions. Still a good running shoe and glad it is offered in wide with but doesnt seem to fit as previous models !

I have been wearing Ghosts for about 10 years with absolute satisfaction. The Ghost 16s have a different fit however, these pair may have a break in period compared to the others being comfortable immediately? Maybe the heel and instep is uncomfortable, or seems less supportive, it's hard to explain. I am giving them a few more miles, but I am ultimately looking to other sources for a pair of 15s.
