I love these shoes! They are both stylish and durable, and the padding is amazing, it helped increase my running pace immediately. The support and dexterity these have on concrete is fantastic as well, theyre also great for uneven terrain and dirt paths. Im so glad I got them! The fit is fantastic and feels like it was custom made for my feet.

I've worn Brooks' Ghost for 14 years and have 3 pairs in size 9 that I still wear. I ordered the new Ghost online because I didn't think I needed to try it on first. I had read in new reviews to go up half a size, so I did and am glad for it because a 9 would've been too small.
After 2 mos, this is my experience: this version feels lightweight to hold but is very bulky to walk/run in. My feet feel fatigued after using them. The classic cushion from the past is gone and it's now more of a firm pad in the sole. The squared-off tongue, instead of curved, is stiff and rubs into my ankle. The back of the shoe at the Achilles tendon is higher than typical and is very stiff; not comfortable when running. I really prefer using an old pair when exercising.
I'm overall disappointed in spending so much for my favorite line of sneaker to see that it's not the perfect version of the past. Hope the company will consider returning to its roots on this one.

After trying many brand running shoes I am happy to finally get a comfortable fit with my Ghost 16. I have a high arch and wide toes. The softness on the side of the shoe gives my toes comfort that I can now walk for miles without pain.

Extremely small and uncomfortable. I was hoping the 16 would be a great shoe, but the 13s are by far the best. I'll be returning these! I'll stick with OC.

I used to run in Brooks all the time but then had issues with my toes getting crushed, so Ive tried other brands. But a friend recommended these Ghost 16 and said they had widened the toe box without making the whole shoe too big. She was right! They were comfortable out of the box and I havent had any toe numbness even after an hour of running. Excited to have this shoe!

These shoes provide good support and cushioning and help keep my ankle stable. The toe box seems roomier in this version. My only criticism is that even if the grass is only slightly wet, my feet get soaked in no time. Id like a fabric that is more tightly knit or woven.

Love my Ghost shoes. Im on my tenth pair. Most comfortable running shoe out there. However, more brighter colors!! The ones available now are all dull and boring. Come on Brooks!!

I sold my Ghost 16 to a coworker. The support is not there for me like the Ghost 15. I have now bought a pair of Adrenalines and am having to return them. Honestly, after wearing and being loyal to Brooks I am thinking of switching brands

After breaking my leg, I knew I needed a post recovery shoe. Plus, I never realize how broken down my shoes are until I get a new pair. These have the perfect amount of cushion and support.
These were perfect. I like to rotate my shoes to get a longer life out of them but they are all brooks. Id be in trouble if I had to dress up.
I dont want to wear anything else.

Ive been buying these for a while, but this time I notice a slight difference in the fit. I have a high arch and Ive had to make some adjustments in leasing and socks in order for these to feel comfortable. Perhaps the tongue is thicker? Not sure what it is, but Im not liking them as well.

I really liked the look of this sneaker. The wide that I purchased really wasn't that wide. I did return the sneaker. I went to a local store, The Running Company in Mullica Hill NJ to see what they had available as they carry Brooks. They had Ghost 16, the same sneaker, but, in a different color. The difference was unbelievable from one Ghost 16 then the other. I have been buying Brooks for many years and all these different "models" don't seem to match the ones I used to love. The Ghost 15 fit so much nicer. I even tried the Ghost Max. So much more for my foot and knees. Maybe bring back the softness and plainess of some of your sneakers. Too much fancy isn't always great.

To short of shoe laces, can not lace them all the way up. My big toe is going numb when I wear them.

These sneakers were comfortable right out of the box. Bought them for a trip to the Southwest, and hiked through Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon and Valley of Fire. My feet never felt tired or sore at the end of the day!

After trying the Brooks Levitate I have returned to the Ghost and my runs are much more effective and feel much better. I have small heels and the balls of my feet are large, so I need the large toe box the Ghost offers. I run for distance (half marathons) and I need a shoe that can accommodate the big front part of my feet for the long haul. I also wear my Ghosts for CrossFit and they are great, although the Levitates did fine for the much shorter runs. I think the extra cushion that the Ghosts have is easier on my knees for double unders, however.

My foot feels very supported with the Ghost 16, even more than it did with the Ghost 15. I've had mine for several months and the shoes are holding up very well. The point at the toe sometimes gets bent/squished in when I'm working out and I have trouble getting it to go back to normal, I did not have this issue with the Ghost 15. I wear the 1D wide width and wish Brooks would release more style options in the wide styles. Particularly a basic shoe like the 147 - White/Oyster/Lava, sometimes I don't want to wear a shoe with a lot of color but Brooks only offers 4 styles in the wide.

I've worn the Ghost 15 shoes for jogging and waking for several years and they've always fit great. I had to buy the new Ghost 16 pair recently and bought them in my usual 7.5 size and they were too small so I returned them through Brooks. Purchased the same pair in a size 8 from a local running store. I've tried walking in them several times and my feet hurt so bad after walking in these for more than 10 minutes or so. Disappointed I can't return them now.

They look great and feel even better. So comfy, great cushion. I am wearing them for my new every day, everywhere shoe. I tried both my regular size and a half size up and went with a half size up. Added comfort by giving my toes width wiggle room.
