Great shoe for jumping rope; lightweight and no break-in time needed. I have narrow feet and need arch support plus good cushioning. I am giving the overall shoe just 3 stars because they are not very attractive looking. I only wear them for at-home workouts.

A real downgrade from Ghost 15. Front upper is much softer providing much less support. I like the absence of the reflecctive markers on the toe of the shoes making the shoe more appropriate for casual or indoor wear. Shoes are less supportive. Laces are much thinner and much shorter making them harder to tie. You increased the price by $10 and still gave us a cheap pair of short laces. These are not an improvement over the Ghost 15. I do not recommend them.

I wear Exosym braces, which have a somewhat thick footbed. Although I was able to comfortably wear the Ghost 15, the top of the 16s cut into my upper feet causing bruises and blisters. I had to throw out the shoes. Please bring back the design of the 15s for your next Ghost model! I really rely on the Ghosts as they provide a neutral shoe with a sufficient heal/toe drop for my situation. Thanks.

Fit and size were good of the shoe was correct, by the plastic toe not sure what you would call it on the inside of the shoe was irritating to my toes even with thick socks on. I guess the manufactures thought they needed to protect the inner toe of the shoe?

Very comfortable. Im not a runner, purchased these for looks and comfort (and on the recommendation of my podiatrist who wears Brooks). I probably should not have purchased the all white mesh. They are very difficult to clean mesh is getting fuzzy from gentle rubbing. Brooks are supportive and comfortable.

Hurt the left side of my left foot, my big toe on my left foot rubs on the end of the shoe. While they fit well otherwise after standing at Dollar Tree for a while looking at stuff a few days ago my left foot really started hurting and the Plantar Fasciitis in my right heel started acting up and the top of my right foot hurts, the laces on these are EVEN WORSE than the other Shoes. EXTREMELY CHEAP JUNK!!!! I wanted them to work but no luck as always, good thing I had bought another pair of Ghost 15's before Christmas and I will again the end of this month if there are any left on Amazon in 8.5 Wide. Brooks continually changes their shoes for the worst and don't care about unhappy customers, they only care about money.

Ive had ghost before and loved them but this time they are pretty uncomfy. Toe box caved in around my big toe and was constantly rubbing. Luckily I can still return and buy the adrenalines (which I LOVE)

I had 3 pairs of the Ghost 15 and they were the best work shoes I have ever owned. I am not a runner, but I work 12 hour days on my feet. The 15 resolved my foot pain, as well as knee and ankle pain and swelling. When I retired a pair, I took the insoles out and put them in my other shoes or boots. The Ghost 16 is not even close. I read the negative reviews before ordering, but decided to try them anyway. They are so uncomfortable. All my previous issues have returned, although not as severe as before. I will keep them because at this point I have no alternative and my last pair of 15 are worn out. However, I will be looking elsewhere for a solution.

I've been buying Ghost shoes for many years, and Ghost 16 continues to have the great fit and comfort for my long distance walks. My only dislike is the change to the tongue of the shoe: the tongue now has two seams which cause the tongue to curl a bit causing some pressure at the top.

I loved the Brooks Ghost 12 and Ghost 14. Both felt great right out of the box. The Ghost 16 was uncomfortable out of the box. Not sure what the difference is since it was the same size as the previous two.

Got a new pair as my old ones had many miles on them. They feel firmer than my old pair, but likely need to break them in. Happy with this shoe!

So far so good I'm going back between these and a brand new pair of ghost 15s that I had taken out of the box earlier I bought these for the color I'm dealing with the toe issue right now most likely from a trace 3 that I was using to walk in recovering from knee surgery I've never had this problem with the ghost or any ghost I've had so trying to work on that right now.

Why did you change the perfect shoe? I've spent years searching for the perfect shoe and the Ghost 15 was it. The 16 is NOT the same. It looks cheaper, the toes are too tight, and the heel slips. It also feels much less cushioned. Sadly, I'll be returning these shoes to the store and continuing my search for the perfect shoe.

16 does not help my supination as well as 15 does. Causes pain on outer bottom of foot after wearing. I Prefer Ghost 15. I have been wearing this model since Ghost 4. Thank you.

Great shoe, attractive colors! A bit of a height boost with these, very comfortable on my wide foot. Good grip on the tread, well cushioned throughout.
