The new Speedgoats are fantastic! I sometimes have problems with heel pain, but not with the new Goats. The fit is fantastic, they're pretty lightweight, and the traction is perfect.

This was my second pair of Hokas, I love my Speedgoat 5 so I thought I'd try the Speedgoat 6. This shoe is a good shoe & fits well, but I don't like it as much as the discontinued Speedgoat 5.

I bought these shoes last year and loved them so much that I just bought a replacement pair. I use them for trail hiking, walking on pavement, and I wore them on cobblestone streets in Italy. I have owned several other Hokas - so far these are my favorite. Plenty of cushion, support and stylish enough to wear for everyday walking

Dont get me wrong i like these. The tread is great for trails. im just used to the clifton and the bondi and when you put these on its a completely diff feel.

My favorite color is purple. I was super excited to get this model in this color but was bad for trail running. After using them once they turned brown. They don't look lavender anymore like in the picture. The shoe itself is great just color is not the best for trail running.

This shoe is sooo comfortable and it comes in wide. Wish there were more color options in wide. Sole wears out very fast.

I love my Hoka 5 sneakers so wanted another pair before they wore out. These run a bit smaller and are a little less squishy in the footbed. That said, they are still very good. They feel a bit harder and flatter on surfaces but they are also probably a bit more stable, rocking a bit less and no complaints about foot comfort despite the differences. I wasn't sure about the aesthetics (the HOKA brand name is now boldly displayed on the side). They are maybe a little more streamline looking than their predecessor but the Hoka brand is never going to fly under the radar.

I’ve been wearing barefoot shoes for while but wanted something a little more cushioned for 15+ mile hikes. These had good cushion, but no medial support. My foot easily collapsed inwards (and I have strong feet), like the side of the shoe was too low. Also the toe box didn’t feel spacious enough. The traction felt great, and the laces easy to tighten and secure (important to me). As for sizing, I normally wear a 8.5-9 in shoes and got the 9 in these.

My ankles are sore after 1 wear! The sides are stiff and go up too far so some pronated steps hit my ankle bones. Otherwise, these shoes are light, grippy, and stable. Even without the ankle bone chafing, they aren’t particularly comfortable shoes - not like your typical Hokas.

I have the men’s in a 9, so wanted to try the women’s in a 10.5W to see extra width helped. The men’s have been great overall, but some days a skosh snug. So far the women’s wide seems to be doing the trick. Hopefully they don’t end up being too much volume overall - did add insoles (all shoes may have them) - so time will tell.

Initially I didn't like the feel because I am used to a softer fit. As I did my first long run on the trail I was happy with how they felt. They will not feel like a regular Hoka of cloud and comfort but Trail running is different. Overall I am happy with them.

I have been wearing Speedgoats for years for hiking, trail running and walking. I usually hate when manufacturers change a product from year to year, but Hoka's change to Speedgoat 6 (making it narrower) has been great for me. The complaint I do have about this model is they wear out REALLy quickly.

The size and fit are good.
I use the extra eyes when i lace my shoes for heel support and the laces on these shoe are too short. Why put the extra eyes on a shoe and then not supply laces long enough to use them. I called Hoka and explained the issue and they said my only option was to buy laces somewhere. The laces supplied do stay tied when i manage to make teeny tiny knots in them.
No arch support for me in these shoes but i have extremely high arches and have never felt arch support in any shoes.

I have the Speedgoat 5 and love them so much. These are a little stiffer feeling and still have the great support I’m used to. Don’t love the color options.

I loved the Speedgoat 5’s!
Unfortunately the new Speedgoat 6’s are designed differently and are shorter , also stiffer.
Seem to good arch support though and cradle your heal.
