I have Clifton's, older speedgoats, Rincons, that I wear my lest used shoe is the new Speedgoats. They just are not a good looking shoe, in my opinion. Couldn't you vary the look on a few pair..

I only use the speedgoat for golfing I love the shoe. I have serverel pairs of Hokas the last pair of speedgoats I bought the tread came apart I sent in a concern and haven't received anything back yet. Very disappointing considering the price that you pay for the shoes. I only wore them for golfing nothing else.

The SG5 had some of the coolest colorways and past Goats have been cool as well. But it's as if the designers went out of their way to make the ugliest combinations with this "confetti" or "camo" pattern? I showed different options to my daughter asking her to help me pick the least ugly and after she made her choice, she said that the others all looked like different kinds of "baby poop" or "puke". Yeah they get dirty, yeah it ultimately doesn't matter a whole lot, but if I'm spending $150, I don't want to look down and see baby poop on my feet.

The tongue is too short. Otherwise I'm enjoying this shoe.

I received my order of speed goat six last week and I'm happy with the way. The shoe is built well and the color is good. However, it seems that the size varies from other HOKA shoes that I have bought. It's tighter in the toe box than the Bondi for example. Had a very similar experience with the Rincon shoe, which also feels it is sized differently. I cannot understand how one company can produce different sizes for different models. Would recommend trying-on before buying.

Huge HOKA fan- wear them all the time. Like my new Speedgoat. Even more incredible is that gray color turns to violet in the outdoors Concerned that the stability isn't as good for challenging terrain. The outer soul on the outside is not as wide as previously. Not sure why it was changed. What do you recommend?

This shoe required serious stretching to get to a comfortable fit with high arch feet. Initially I even thought to return the shoe due to how painful it was, but after stuffing rolled socks into the reinforced section separating the toe box from the laces, the fit became tight, but in a snug, technical way. I'm unsure if sizing affects the vertical fit as well as horizontal, but potentially sizing up if you have doubts on fit could be beneficial. True to length, very tight on the height. Great structure, weight, and traction otherwise.

Nice comfortable trail Runner. It seems the shoe is more narrow than the Speedgoat 5 so if borderline some may want to consider a wider shoe.

Great traction on rough terrain with good cushioning. Just not as responsive nor lightweight as I was looking for.

I am not a long distance runner, I mostly go on simple 5ks on normal trails and I think they are perfect. They feel a bit like the 4s. I'm a fan of the stiffer feel. They were a bit narrow so I just bought the wide ones.

4s firm, 5s soft, 6s firm. Shoe would be perfect if the midsole was 10% softer.

Love the improved padded tongue on this model compared to the 5s. They do seem a bit stiffer this time around. I've had many speedgoats in the past, 3rd generation and up. Great traction as always with the vibrum soles. I run a lot in the desert and mountains and the traction is amazing. I did roll my ankle is these pretty easily in these so I opted for the 5 midgtx. I think these are best for less technical trails where good grip is needed and good ventilation. I really wish they would make a non goretex mid. Due to the terrain around me I'll probably enjoy the mid more but I'll probably switch back and fourth depending on what I'm running that day.

After disposing of my Speedgoat 4's in April, I was anxiously awaiting the release of the 6's. While I was hoping to do a test run and then throw them on for a trail 1/2, I had to cool my jets. After a few more runs, they're right back to the comfort and support I expect from a Hoka Speedgoat.

Firstly, everyone in the reviews giving a 1 star based on a color preference is ridiculous and in no way demonstrates the quality or a true review of the shoe. The next biggest complaint I am seeing is the stiffness of the midsole out of the box-- yes, it is stiffer than past speedgoats but that is a good thing! These are the same folks who are then complaining that the midsole dies after 150 miles-- if you want a midsole that lasts, it requires a break-in period, simple as that. I will agree that for the first 50 miles I didn't feel the midsole was really settled in yet but after that 50 mile mark for me they feel solid. I have about 110 miles in the shoe now and have taken it up a lot of peaks here in SW Colorado that are technical with a lot of scree fields and on and off trail travel. In my opinion, these are the most technical trail ready speedgoat yet and I think the midsole has a lot to do with that advancement. It is really protective and feels more stable under foot in very uneven, rocky terrain. I will be buying another pair for sure once these are cooked as they are proving to be a great daily grinder that I can count on for a majority of my outings. I sprinkle in a few other shoes as well into the rotation but the speedgoat 6 will continue to be there for sure.

A little stiffer than the typical HOKA but super nimble for the trail. Fit is great and traction is spot on. I took them on my first trial run/hike and they came back stained like I washed them off in the wind and the yellow and orange have staining from one run. HOKA needs to hurry up and get a new color option

Very happy with the performance of the shoe with the exception of the fabric/colorway. I took these out on my first train run/hike and came back and they are getting stained after a single run :(.

Shoes have the vibram sole, but are very meshy, you can see your socks through them. Also, the tongue is impossible to get past, even with thin nylon socks, the inside of the tongue catches on your socks and folds under the laces.

I was surprised they felt so tight. Had to return. I have never worn a size larger than the 10 that this shoe was.
