I have used several Hoka running shoes. This one feels different. Hope it last longer than the previous once (3months) but definitely great for my knees. Comparable to On or Brooks but I have moved on and prefer Hoka only because they fit well and good on my knees

These are awesome for mountain running! They hold very secure on your feet and are highly stable and protective. The firmer foam means minimal energy loss when climbing equaling faster, easier climbs. Descending is a blast with plenty of bounce and high mileage protection for the legs. The only area that they may lack alittle is on the flats, but for a shoe named speedgoat, I don't think that is it's intended use case.

Purely a mistake, I ordered the wide version and I am so glad that I did. I trail run about 45-55 miles per week, and that's on fairly rough terrain, so I know a good trail runner and I think this version is pretty darn good! I'd still call my favorite SG the 4, and the 5's were good too, but the 6 is better than the 5 in my opinion. It is a little less cushioned, but still offers plenty of protection. The outsole is Vibram with good traction on most surfaces. It's a little slick on wet rock. All in all it's a great shoe! The color is the least of my concerns, but it is nice to see they've released some new colors. I can definitely recommend these!

I've bought three pairs and I'm totally satisfied with each pair. I can never go back to another brand. I'm totally sold.

All these people giving one stars because of color is ridiculous.. I've been running in Evo speedgoats.. speed goats 3 and 5 for years ... And this 6 is solid... Stiffer then what we've been used to but once you break them in ( 5-10 miles) they're solid! Go a half size up.. it helps! And I personally don't mind the color and can't wait to keep buying more pairs of these when a ton of new colors come out...

I started with version three, so far version 6 is my favorite. They are faster than their predecessors and more precise, so I feel much more confident during steep, technical runs than in fours or fives. p.s. this color looks great in real life.

Love the color. Not sure how anyone wouldn't love this color. Nice and bright. Garrish is more like it. But in a good way. LOL Thumbs up!

Mostly trail running. Comfort, support and grip are just fine. Lacing seems a bit unusual but I'm getting accustomed to it.

While I liked the security of the fit and the wider toe box I found the upper sleeve to be too tight over the dorsal surface of the foot.

Not a big fan of the tapered thickness tongue. It tapers to near paper thin around the top edge. I worry that when I pull on the tongue, sooner or later it is going to rip. Plus it is so thin that it always gets folded backwards when I put my foot in the shoe.
