I love my Bondi 8s and own multiple pairs. These looked like they'd have even more support, and the higher price suggested to me that they would. I have tried walking in them three times, and my feet just HURT. I walk five miles a day with energetic dogs. I no longer have the packaging or the paperwork, otherwise I'd return them. And again, I always like HOKA, just not this time.

First, I want to say I have worn Hoka shoes for years and I currently own six pairs of Hoka Bondi shoes. I thought the Skyward X was going to be a new and improved Bondi. The platform is too high and feels unstable. It doesn't have the soft feel for my ankles, knees, hips, and back that I get from the Bondi 8. Very disappointing performance, and overpriced.

I got these as I needed extra cushioning after foot surgery, and they really delivered. It's like walking on clouds, and the carbon fiber frame helps to stabilze your foot

Love skyward x so much. Please make more colors available like neutral white, black, beige etc. like you have on bondi 9 many colors to choose from.

I've tried dozens of brands and styles of shoes since I took up running in 1977, and these are the most comfortable I've ever worn. I had been a fan of the Clifton, but compared to these, the Clifton feels like a pair of bare-bones Keds while I'm running on concrete. I hope there are more colors coming: Skyward used to be available in shades other than mint green and beige. Bring back sunny yellow, acid green, and black with neon accents!

Thr Skyward X is an incredible shoe - the bounciest, plushiest ride that makes running feel amazing that lasts for roughly 500 miles. Perfect for taking the load off of knees and hips. I put over 600 miles on my first pair of Skyward X until they literally started to make my feet blister and knees ache. I was worried the knee ache might be from thr carbon, so I tried the Gaviota 6 for a while in an attempt to find a lighter weight, non-carbon, cross-training shoe, and it just didn't compare and hurt my joints worse. Got a fresh pair of Skyward X and I couldn't be happier. My only wish is that there were more colorways and possibly a wide-width offering, but even my wide feet fit very comfortably in the standard width until they start to wear out. I can't recommend this shoe enough if you're in the market for a super plush running shoe.

Absolutely the best shoes I have run in. I just wish there were better color selections, similar to Bondi 9. I exchanged my last pair for Bondi 9s simply for color.

I cannot say enough good things about the Skyward X's. They are 100% worth the price. I use these on my long runs and they keep that pep in my step. I have a slightly wider foot and I supinate. I think these give me enough stability without pain. 10/10 recommend! The colors are gorgeous in person too and they didn't make me look like I had big feet which is nice for a size 11!

I got my first pair and fell in love with them! So much so that I have purchased every color I can find!! I am always on the lookout for new colors. These are my new favorites!

I had a plantar fasciitis and wore these shoes with power step in sole and cried my problem. Love these shoes!

I absolutely love these running shoes, I have bad knees and I am able to run again because the cushion is amazing I want to buy another pair but you all meed some dark colors. Please give us navy or black!

I love my Skywards. I own two pair. I wanted to buy another, but the colors are terrible! Why do women have such hideous colors? Where the black or a real blue, not a pale mint. Yuck!

This shoe is expensive. However, I was desperate and bought it. Running on the treadmill is the only form of exercise I enjoy, but I had a meniscal injury that lit up knee arthritis at age 62. This was the only shoe that softened the trauma to my knee when pounding it on a treadmill. I have since been tempted by claims of other brands , and I have tried New Balance. It is wonderful, but not when you are pounding your knee while running. ASICS doesn’t cut it either. Only this Hoyka shoe may give you time to enjoy what you love, in my opinion.

I have spent almost $5000 trying to find a shoe that offsets my old ankle injury so I wouldn't have to have a reconstruction for my specific issue. This shoe keeps my ankle from rolling out or in actually too which nearly 100% unloads my foot pain. So glad God helped me find this shoe and heal my pain! 5

My favorite shoes. Very comfortable. The softest cushion I had tried on. I use it for work. I need shoes like this for Im always on my feet, and I have history of plantar fasciitis. I wish it comes in solid black color.

I used to suffer from shin splints and knee problems and then was introduced to Hokas. I was pretty dedicated to Bondi and Clifton but then decided to switch it up to the Skyward. I don't think I'll be wearing another walking shoe anytime soon! Leg pain is gone, no problems with my knee, and it feels like you're walking on a cloud. Plus it makes you about 2 inches taller, lol!

I have very bad stability in my legs, sometimes they go numb or start to hurt, I really needed a shoe that was comfortable and would help the pain in my legs and this shoe so far has done just that. I thank you.

Best sneakers ever

This shoe has saved my feet. I have flat feet, and a heel spur on my right heel. Walking all day was very painful for me until I found these shoes! They feel like walking on clouds. I wear them daily- exercising or not. My feet do not hurt as much and my heel spur is tolerable! I'm so thankful for these shoes. I do wish they came in wide- they felt very narrow when I tried them on but I stuck with them and have broken in well. I would buy a wide option if it were available!

I use Skyward X for runs in a residential area. I love how the shoe fits my ankles with no slipping and sliding. I also love the cushion on the forefoot because it is just enough for impact. I also like the toe box where the toes can spread and not be pinched. It is just a great shoe !
