Everyone goes on and on about HOKAs but I still don't get it. I have had neuromas removed from my feet but am running more than usual so need extra support. I paid an extraordinary amount of money for the ones above. I am keeping them to give them a chance but so far they are just ok. The pain I don't feel during the run, I'm feeling afterwards. Also, I have very think feet and the width on these is very small. The left shoe is more comfortable than the right. On the right shoe, right where my arch should be, there is a tightness and scraping of the insole or stitching. I've run 14 miles in these so far and again, I just think they are ok. They are also, insanely hideous. They look like giant bananas on my feet. Like I said I'm keeping them to give them a good try, but I don't think it's worth the money. I thought these extra high end ones would be the hit, but so far, they are just ok. I would never walk in them, not just because they are ugly but because they are honestly not comfortable for walking. I think I can get away with running with them because I don't feel the same discomforts while running in them as I do while walking.

Fit seems to be a UNISEX sizing. Normally, I go with the women's Bondi, but wanted to try the Skyward X. Fit is definetely different than the Bondi. Heel box is slightly larger and longer, like to accommodate a man's foot. Shoe is taller in the ball of the foot area, similar to what a man's shoe would be like, so lots of empty space above foot. Didn't want to spend this much on a shoe made for men/women that wasn't precise for a woman's foot only. Sent it back.

So much cushion. Super comfy. Would have preferred a wide option and color other than white.

I really loved these shoes but they are really wide! I do wear a B width but these B's are wide. My feet slide all over on them. Too bad!!! I really wanted to keep them, but they just don't work for me!!!

I'm very upset that the shoes are already coming apart! I've only had them for a short period of time and I use them mainly for work (a nurse) the top of the shoe is coming off! Very sad about this

I love my Bondi 7s. But the new Bondi was not well reviewed so I tried these Skyward Xs. The heel height is fine, but there isn’t any lateral reinforcement at the sides of the mesh upper (unlike the Bondi 7s had), and I felt like my left foot was rolling outward because of this. Also, when sitting the shoes on a level surface and viewing from behind, the left shoe wasn’t sitting flat but was canted outward, which also may have contributed the outward foot motion. So, they had to go back.

I've had these shoes for a couple of months. I only use them for running. I have gotten calluses on the sides of my feet and the rubber on the side of the shoe is tearing apart. For the price I paid I am not impressed at all.

Lightweight, which is good. I wanted a shoe with extra cushioning and this shoe had it. What i didnt like is how large the shoe looked overall, and was not easy to walk up and down our driveway which is a hill. My back hurt afterwards and the shoes seemed to be unsteady side to side. I would like to see better colors in Hoka shoes. Many older people wear them but don't want the flashy neon colors. Neutral colors are better. Taupe, brown, black, rust, etc.

The cushion and material is fabulously amazing!!! LOVE the super fun colors. HOWEVER, I dont know why the outsole had to be uneven and unstable with the slit in the middle and when you're just walking or standing, it feels like you're wearing high heels and have to balance yourself. NOT for walking, maybe just for running. NOT for 12-hr shifts because the outsole can cause you to TRIP on cords on the floor. Very dangerous. Please put something in your site about this. Could put someone in danger.

Initially I loved this shoe. Cushy, cute and comfortable. But comfortable only for my left foot. The little toe and next one over went numb during my first walk. I switched to thin socks, lacing up differently, same result. The toe box on my right shoe feels TIGHT. I thought, maybe they just need a breaking in period. After a month there has been no change. YES, they still fall under the warranty. BUT, I have worn them outside. Even after only 5-6 runs it shows wear on the bottom. So I'm very reluctant to return them and feel stuck.

It was super cushioned so I was disappointed that they had something that pinched in the middle. Also it seems they are so loosey goosey in the toe box that my foot starts to pronate almost immediately. Definitely not worth the money which is super disappointing. I would love this kind of cushion in a better fitting shoe.

Recently purchased a pair for my spouse, unfortunately the shoes showed obvious signs of previous usage ( crumpled wrapping paper, bits of dried grass on the inside, creased uppers, with laces being tied completely not in a brand new factory fashion. I immediately returned that pair back to Hoka as at this price point one would expect to get a brand new footwear..

The colors are amazing and the bounce seems great in the beginning, but there is no plush after a little amount of time in them. Very flat footed. I'm a Bondi 6 and 8 fan so if you need a firmer sole, these might be for you!

I bought these as I have a condition with the bones in my feet. I loved the extra cushion , they felt like clouds, but these are NOT for people with wide feet. I purchased these on a Friday and returned the next day. They were pinching at my pinky toe, making it quite uncomfortable. I couldn't wait to take them off. I'm really hoping for a wide option being available, but until then I will have to stick to my Bondi 8

I feel off balance in these sneakers. I much prefer the Bondi 8 & the Gaviota. I would definitely not purchase these. I was surprised by the fit specially at this much higher price point .

Unfortunately these shoes did not work for me. Based on the number of great reviews, I ordered them. It seems they had almost too much cushion. My feet were positioned oddly; seemingly pushed forward. The bunion area was activated on both feet after wearing them for a walk. When I went to bed that night, the bunions were pretty sore and I said, "Those shoes are going back." I am big on the Hoka brand and have several pairs, mostly variations on the Bondi. My favorites for comfort are the Bondi L , the Bondi SR and the Clifton 9. I was told by the local Hoka store owner that this shoe would be best for someone who wants to go out and run for an hour. It is important that you find the shoe that works best for your activity and your feet. Hoka has it. You just have to find it.

Bummer. I ordered these as soon as I saw them show up online. I couldn't wait to get them but they don't fit me at all. I ordered my regular size 9 but my this shoe threw my foot all the way to the front of the shoe. It was very strange so they went right back. I could even rationalize that maybe they fit. they absolutely did not.

Thank you Zappos for the speedy delivery of the Skyward X. The style is attractive and the fit was just right (not narrow like the new Arahi). Unfortunately, the shoes did not offer the stability that all my other Hokas typically have. I am very surprised that my feet twist when walk in them because the base of the Skyward appeared narrow again compared to the other Hokas. I returned the shoes.

These shoes are AWFUL! I had to stop halfway through my run and change my shoes! I’m sticking with the Bondi 8, until I can’t find them anymore.

I should have had test this shoes once i got it. Now i can't return it. This shoe causes blisters so badly. I only wore at least 10 times. the materials feel a little off like " cheap materials kind". I wish i still can return it. so guys don't purchase this one.
