The toe box of the shoe seems wide so it "crinkles" on the sides when you walk

The HOKA Mach 6 model is a much flimsier model than all other HOKA shoes I have purchased.
Mach 6 shoes appear to be lower quality and have much less padding.

More pronounced rocker in the front than the Mach5, stiffer, and definitely running a 1/2 size smaller. Like the more durable sole, but definitely a different feel than the Mach5 (which I've run in for years)

Love the more cushion from the 5 to the 6's, but they are soooo narrow!

I picked up a pair of the Mach 6 (direct from Hoka). I had gone through three pairs of the Mach 5 prior and absolutely loved them for road running. Be aware that the 6 is a different shoe, and you will not have the same fit if you had been in the previous Mach models. It feels like it has a lot more cushioning. For me, going out for a 7-8 mile run with the new fit resulted in a couple of times resulted in real discomfort post run. I was also bummed to see Hoka has a very self-service approach (you manage it all, no phone support & eat the shipping costs) to returns vs. other MFGers that tend to make it easier.

Shoe was good length, great width, great weight, but it didn't form my feet correctly. My heel kept slipping out the back. I ran in them for 2 mins and said nope. I was so sad. Will have to go back to my previous brand.

didn't like the feel and there was very little support for me. My feet pronate and these did not support them.

Very comfortable soles but the inner top of laces dig into the tops of my feet. I've never had this issue with tennis shoes. The soles are great but the discomfort on the top of my foot is annoying all day long. Ugh.

First I will say I am a big Hoka fan, I have 6 pairs of Hoka and have run triathlons, marathons, and plenty of training runs with them. I am a size 11, Hoka shoes have all fit true to size, except this pair. They have a weird toe area. It is not enough to cause a blister or mess with my toenail but enough to change how my feet fit in the shoe. I have kept them for walking my dog, but these are not a good running/training shoe. Highly recommend looking at the Mach 5!

I thought these would be a more grey for a neutral look, but they were like a very light blue. I returned due to my knee hurting because I realized I'm not a "responsive" girl and need more support. I did love the width at the mid-arch area though!

I have been wearing mach 5 Hokas for years. I had to up grade to mach 6. They are not the same. They are no longer wide enough. I even bought the wide. You can put the to side by side and see how much narrower they are now.

Ive been a Hoka fan for YEARS and use them almost every morning for my walk/run but In these last few years I have noticed they do not last long at all! I purchased the Mach 6 March 26, it's only been 1 month and the bottoms are worn off!! For the money they cost they need to last longer than 1 month!!

The description is misleading. The color is not primarily Cosmic Grey it is Alabaster which I would describe as light yellow/tan. In other sites it is described as Alabaster/Cosmic Grey

The shoe is way wide even for a person who wears wide shoes regularly. Since I wore them for a bit they can not be returned- and I cant use them

This was supposed to be wide width. I couldn't even get my foot in the shoe. The tongue is not padded like the other Hoka's I own, and it appears to be poorly made. I do not recommend. I got this on sale which proves you get what you pay for.

It used to be a solid shoe, now for the same price the quality has significantly deteriorated! The shoe tongue is almost like cloth, the thickness of denim - a whole lot of pull and tug is required to get it in place. The shoe itself is very light which is because the materials used are some kinda synthetic that is so light - weighs almost nothing!

I wish I'd loved this pair—love the look of them. I put in my orthotics and wore them around the house for a few minutes, but the tongue has no padding at all and kept slipping down. I had to pull it into place over and over. The top of my foot (a problem area at the best of times) throbbed even wearing them those few minutes—nothing like my old New Balance or Bondis. I returned them.

I had Hoka Cliftons and they changed my view of shoes. My pair of Cliftons are no longer suitable for public so I came to the site, excited about getting another pair of Hoka shoes and picked MACH 6. I realize the difference in the series, but they are simply not to the same standards I was expecting from the brand.
I thought it was a break-in adjustment, but no. Even though that wasn't a thing in the other pair, they were amazing the first second. Now the MACH 6 are broken in and definitely NOT as comfortable. The insoles are a flimsy piece of foam. Running in these don't provide the same cushion or comfort. The tongue design is annoying, it's constantly bunching, snagging. I'm tired of readjusting. Everyone is wearing socks, right?
The sole pattern is a dirt collection system. My running is neighborhood, walking involves grass, I'm just moving fine dirt from place to place with the tiny divots in the sole. I've get the abrasive mats, fuzzy dog paw mats, and typical welcome mats and nothing is helping. The gauntlet of mats and a tap-tap jig, it's still leading to dirt tracked on the floor. Even noticeable sliding when I walked into the corner store. I'm not interested in a hiking sole, but this is the equivalent of a 1980s drugstore flip flop.
I tried cleaning mud off the toe/top and can't get the fabric to let the dirt go. I know they are shoes, but I'm not carrying them into a gym and changing before leaving. They will come in contact with the Earth, I need to be able to clean them.
The laces stay tied. . .
I tried to love them. It's been 3 months. I'm constantly reverting to the old pair. I'm hesitant moving to another pair.

My last pair of Mach 6 fit perfect and I really like the shoe. I have skinny feet. I bought another pair of Mach 6's online in a different color and they are so much wider and I don't like how they feel when I running/walking in them. I understand there would be a fit difference if I ordered another version of the Mach or another style, but I expect more consistency with the same product. Going forward I will only purchase shoes when I can try them on.

This is my third pair of Hokas. The other 2 feel great on my feet. I have issues & could always count on Hokas to not irritate my feet. These were very uncomfortable. I wore them on 1 short walk & the knuckles of my big toes hurt very badly on top. I tried loosening the laces & that didn’t help. Then I tried them with different socks & walked around inside, they still hurt. I hope I can return them.

The fit and width of the shoe are great. I have wide feet through the ball of my foot, and the wide width was plenty accommodating. A regular fit may have worked. The problem is that the soles are so incredibly squishy that they become painful to wear. I made the mistake of wearing them on a travel day and really regretted it. My whole foot and ankle was sore on both sides for days. Like I had been walking in loose sand for too long a distance. Too bad, because I really liked the fit and look. Not too clunky or overly large. The sole is just too squishy.

Narrow at toe box! I thought Hoka with the outstanding price would be made better. They just seemed overalll cheaply made! Huge disappointment!
