I have had several pairs of Hoka, this being the first of this model. They feel cheap with no cushion/ support and are not as roomy as the typical Wide. Very disappointed

I returned these shoes for exchange as they lacked the normal pillowy feel that Hokas normally have. They were somewhat tight (size 11D) with an abbreviated tongue & had a very stiff feel to them. The Clifton 9's which I received in exchange also had issues. They were big & boxy & lacked any responsiveness. I don't recall Cliftons in the past feeling so overwhelmingly clunky. I would not purchase either of these models in the future.

I had the Hoka Mach 5's and thought a similar size for the newer version would fit similarly. However, the Mach 6 runs a whole size smaller, feeling tighter in both width and length. Hopefully a size up will solve the issue, but certainly a big variance in fit from one generation to the next.

When I first put these shoes on, I was immediately impressed by the great cushioning. When I later went out to walk I realized that the heel is significantly lower than the rest of the shoe. While that may be ideal for some people, it puts torque on my knees, and I absolutely cannot use them. I have tried the Clifton and the Bondi in the past, and they too seem to have the lower heel. It may be an illusion because of a high arch? I don't know, but I am disappointed that I can't find a model that works for me. The Hoka cushioning is great, but the architecture just doesn't work for me.

The fit was the same as a Hoka Clifton 9's, although the not so stable sole made my knee injured.

Not comfortable at all. Superrrr narrow for skinny feet people. The cusion is decent but I feel like they forced me to invert the sole a bit. Ran 5 miles in em and hurt my feet. Going back to the Clifton 9s I guess. I typically wear a 9-9.5 I got the Mach 6 in 9.5 and they're still too snug/tight. I like the way they look but it's not a good shoe to run in.

Mach 5's have been the best shoe I've ever had. Thankfully I ran around the store before buying the Mach 6. No outside heel stability. You could easily roll your ankle. Not the shoe for me. Please bring back the Mach 5 styling and fit. I bought the Mach X to replace the Mach 5. Not enough cushion. Bring back the Mach 5!!

I absolutely love Hoka and ordered these with the highest of hopes because the Mach 5's were EVERYTHING. Got them, and was SO disappointed. I got blisters, as well as didn't feel my foot securely fastened in them. In the 5's the middle of my foot felt supported and absolutely engulfed by the material, which was awesome. I have bad ankles and that security helps stabilize me so that I don't feel like I'm going to roll anything. Anyways, the 6's didn't have that, as well as felt more narrow, and less springy. And if I'm really getting picky, the colors are SO boring. The 5's had several options of a bunch of fun, exciting, dynamic colors, while the 6's are just a bore visually. Out of desperation, I've combed the internet searching for Mach 5's in my size, and am going to wear them until HOPEFULLY the Mach 7's knock my socks off. Come on August 2025!

Though these sneakers are a wide width, they actually feel too small. I have the same size in MACH5 and they are fine. I have had to wear them a little bit everyday in an attempt to stretch the fabric. Another problem I have with them is that they squeak. Yes, they squeak on my hardwood floors.

I have been wearing the Mach 5 series but they are no longer an option . These new Mach 6 series are not as comfortable as the 5.. They must have changed sole technology .

Generally speaking Hoka brand sneakers have been like bedroom slippers straight out of the box, but these not so much. There's a weird bump on the instep and the sides are stiff. Just a little note to consider if you decide to purchase these.

I've been buying 3 pairs of Hoka shoes per year since 2021. I got a pair of Cliftons recently that squish my pinky toes. My usual go to is the Rincon but opted for the Mach this time since they're available in wide sizes. The Rincon had a bunch of reviews saying the new ones are too narrow. And to my sad surprise, these "wide" ones are not wide at all. I placed them next to my "regular width" Cliftons and they look the same. Very uncomfortable.

This is my 3rd Mach (had the 4 and 5) and loved them so much and was excited to get my new pair BUT I am disappointed in the Mach 6. They are totally different than the previous ones. Not sure I'll keep them as I just got them today and took a short walk to try them out. I'll see how they do on my long walk. Ughh, finally found a pair of shoes that fit great and now looks like I'll have to go back shopping around!

I do really like the color of these shoes. That's about the only thing that's worked out. I've had these for a few months and now they squeak with every step. It's a grinding crunching noise and it's so noticeable that people comment on what is that noise? Therefore I do not recommend these. They do not last.

I don't why or how,But I never felt this kind of issue to all the brands I used before,And I always used regular. I exchange to wide and half size more but still giving me issues to the right side of my foot,Kts feel tight still and uncomfortable,It's very weird,And I don't think I will like the cushion so far I only tried Mach.

Why is HOKA trying to imitate Sketchers in the heal area? The thin loop used before is all that is needed.

I purchased a pair in a wide width because I adore my wide width Clifton's but these are so incredibly narrow I have to return them. I've tried on several HOKAs at stores in my area and never had a pair fit like this. The tongue is sewn into the shoe in a way where it is so tight across the top of the foot I couldn't even wear them long enough to break them in and stretch them out.

Unfortunately Hokkaido seems to keep doing it. They have an amazing shoes but the more newer models/ versions, they change so much that the shoe is not what it was and leave you so disappointed. I had three pairs of machs! Two Mach 5s! Loved them so very much devoted wouldn't switch. Grabbed the Mach 6 when it was time. Awful mistake, they feel like carboard on the bottom, no response like they used to have in the heal, I trained in them ran a half and I've had some of the worst foot pain during my half and training, in my arch but I've never had issues before. I didn't change a thing in my routine mileage or pace anything, the only change is that I needed new shoes and couldn't get my hands on a 5 anymore in my size so went with the 6. Awful! I tried past the warranty period because I was convinced having loved Hoka and Machs so much there was no way it was the shoe. Unfortunately it was the shoe!! Disappointed
