Compared to the clifton and gaviota, these run smaller and narrower. I have the Clifton 9 in 8.5 wide and it's perfection. I got these is the same and my toes hit the front and the width across the toe bed is too tight. They felt zippy though and if I had the motivation to try these a size up, id probaby love them. I just think the Clifton 9 fits better for a wider foot and is far more true to size.

As an RN, running around for 12 hour shifts, the Mach series has been my go-to shoe for years! I love the color of this shoe and wanted to love the shoe itself as much as my Mach 4s, 5s and Xs, but I simply can't give this version 5 stars! While so sole is plush and comfortable, the stitching on top of the shoe at the base of the laces (i've seen some reviews referred to this as the "toebox," is much too restrictive. I have wide feet, but I wouldn't consider them "chubby" by any means, and even for me, it's uncomfortable. To be clear, the shoe itself is not too narrow, fits true to size, and this has nothing to do with the laces themselves (you can leave as much slack as you want), it's the stitching that goes across the top. Hopefully with the Mach 7, Hoka will go back to whatever the previous template was!

I am on my feet all day and these shoes are amazing . These shoes are great for running as well.

The Mach 6 fits great, is very light, and extremely comfortable . The colors are beatifyl!

I used to wear Brooks but I had major surgery and they did not work for me post-op. I got fitted at a local store and the Mach 5 was my first pair of Hokas. I have bought about 6 pairs of them because I had difficulty walking in anything else after my surgery. They were the ideal shoe for me - no foot pain, able to wear them to the gym or casually if need be. The Mach 6 kills my feet. There is too much cushion under the heel - it feels nice initially but it makes walking awkward. I had never had ankle pain until I wore the Mach 6 to the gym. I am beyond disappointed that the style changed so much. The 6 runs smaller, the tongue is weird and does not stay in place and again, they are too cushioned in heel area. I don't even understand how this is considered the same model as the 5. Hoka should have renamed it and left the 5 alone for those of us who were happy with them. Not sure what I am going to do when I can no longer find the 5 on the internet. I have stocked up as much as I can. May end up having to wear another brand.

I like the shoe a lot but I would suggest a wide. I don't usually wides but this shoe is very snug.

These shoes are so light. I've worn Cliftons before but since switching to the Mach 6 I have set a new 5 and 10K PR and a few segment PRs. My pace has picked up. I LOVE these shoes!

I'm a Solimar. 100% Solimar. I know this. Every time I try to buy another version, it doesn't work for me. But I loved the colors on these so much that I am keeping them just for casual wear. I cannot run in them. Quality is as expected. Love the way the tongue and the ankle area really hugs my foot and is so comfortable.

I have a LOT of Hoka running shoes but I think these are the best yet!! I was sad to see my beloved Mach 5 go, but I really do think these are even better. I had to wait to get this color on back order and they were worth the wait.

Love this color and style. Very comfortable. My daughter took them and so now I will be ordering another pair

It's like walking with Sponges on your feet! Super Comfy , soft but supportive. I wear a 6 to 6.5 and I ordered the 6 and the shoes fit perfectly !

I was looking for new running shoes and these had good reviews and were cute. This is my first pair of Hokas and they are great! I wear them every day for my walks along the Chicago lakefront (concrete). Lightweight, stable, stylish, great for running or walking. Would recommend!

Great fit & stability!

Comfortable, springy, and lightweight! I struggled a bit with the sizing. I ordered a 9.5 and returned and ordered a 10 and kept that. The 10 seems a little big. I wear these because I am going to physical therapy for my foot. These are the only shoes I own that my foot does not hurt! I wear these as an everyday shoe and for long walks...occasionally I run on the treadmill.

Was super disappointed after purchasing this shoe. I experienced soreness like I never have. Feels more like a Clifton. I wore Mach's for years and unfortunately going to have to switch to a new brand before can't find anything that feels close to the Mach 5.

I get so many compliments on these shoes! The style is really nice and they are super comfortable!

I love the Mach 5 tennis shoe so when I saw the Mach 6 I was a little skeptical. I haven't found any shoes that compares to the 5., but surprisingly the 6 is pretty good! Has a lot of cushion. Fits true to size. Wish i could get it in a wide though.

I've done it. I've found the perfect running shoe and now I'm compelled to shout it from the rooftops bc EVERYONE NEEDS THIS RUNNING SHOE!!!!! Not being overdramatic, this has totally changed the game for me. Been training for my half marathon and was in serious need of an upgrade from my old pair (no tea, no shade, but they were run through -- pun intended). I saw a few people from my running club rocking these in cute color ways and was intrigued so I tested them at the HOKA World Running Day event in SF and loved them. They're so light and responsive while also offering enough support without it feeling like it's too bouncy. My only problem is that now I want another pair!!

I had the Mach 5 and needed an upgrade. Same great comfort with the addition of some great colors.
