I am so confused and conflicted about these Hoka Arahi 7 sneakers. I previously ordered a size 7.5W. Wanting a new pair, a ordered the same size and could barely get them on my feet. I returned them and ordered an 8 W and they are HUGE! I am disappointed as I finally found a sneaker that fits me, doesn't cause pain and has good arch support.

Order the 12W and went for a walk to break them in and they arent very wide. I thought they would widen up as they broke in and have not done that after all the walking ive done in them. They feel like a normal shoe fit. The Clifton 9 show were wider and more comfortable than these.

Never felt as good as the bondi. Side support was not good. Too low for any ankle support.

This is my second pair of Hokas, and I find them very comfortable. However, in my opinion, the inside heel wears out rather quickly. I expect a pair of shoes to last at least a year. While I do a lot of walking, the heel shouldn't degrade to the point of causing discomfort after only six months.

Got the Arahi 7 as a walking shoe as I have the Arahi 6 for long distance running and it's very comfortable and helps correct my feet. However, something in the manufacturing process must have changed because the shoes are completely falling apart at the Achilles, foam literally falling out of the shoe, after only a month of normal wear. Would not recommend. Switched to New Balance. Still a very comfortable shoe for running, but Hoka must fix whatever manufacturing error is now taking place with the Arahi's.

I bought these because the word on the street is that these are the best around but after one day of wear I quickly started feeling like I made a mistake. Day 2 was not better and by day 5 of use I had blisters all over my feet and was not able to stand. I was told that these shoes have to be broke in but after 31 miles in these shoes I can without a doubt say this is the worst shoe I have ever bought.

I bought these shoes for my partner in October, and by Nov-Dec the laces of these shoes were completely destroyed without any misuse. I have never seen this happen to any of the shoes I've owned or my partner has owned. When you pay this much money for a pair of shoes you expect good quality, and good customer service. But sadly this wasn't my experience. The customer care did not help me with this issue. I did not want to return the shoes because it was a gift. I only asked for replacement laces because I do not want to claim warranty of the entire pairs of shoes for this reason. They basically asked me to buy it myself. The 2/5 is purely because of their customer service, I would give the product itself 3/5. One less star because of the laces and second, because these shoes were too tight for my partner even with the wide sizing. That takes away the comfort from the show a bit, other wise they provide moderate stability for flat feet.

Not the same shoe as the Arahi 6. I have 2 pair of those and love them. The 7's are narrower, with a , thinner, harder and shorter tongue, and a different cheaper liner nowhere near as soft. Don't buy expecting a similar shoe as the 6. I will try to return.

I waited almost year to write this review for my partner to see how these shoes would work for him. It hasn't even been a year and the sole of the right shoe is already getting a hole. I wear Hokas and own 3 pairs all with 5 star reviews but they just don't hold up for my partner. He is 5'7" 175 pounds age 55.

I bought these for my husband, who has worn every version of the Arahi from 2-6 and loved them. He put on these and was like WTF! Why did they change them? He has flat wide feet, and apparently now there is an uncomfortable arch in these that didn’t exist in the previous models. So these got returned and I’m buying some more 6’s in the meantime.

These are nothing like the Arahi 6 I have and love. They are dimensionally the same sole structure but the actual cloth portion of shoe is narrow and equally tighter on top making them horribly uncomfortable. The details on the inside too have changed a bit as well adding to the discomfort. The other change is the material of the sole and cusion feels like a cheap plastic. They almost seem like fakes. I hope Hoka isn't dropping quality now that they have amassed a following. Ugh. I'm a female and prefer mens shoes and a roomy toe box and loved the Arahi 6 :/ These are going back. Bummer

I am regular runner and have had ARAHi's before. This one does not fit well exactly as it should. Have not really managed to get a comfortable walk or run.

I don't like the upper material as much as the Arahi 6, doesn't look as premium and feels a bit to stiff/tight. Also I feel like the quality has gone down, it the toe box I've seen a few where the fabric look loose w/ wrinkles...

Have worn Arahi editions 2-6 now searching for a new shoe because the cretinous designer who has clearly never worn a pair of Arahis in their life or has narrow feet, decided that narrowing the toe box would make the shoe look "cooler". Arahi began as an unpopular model, stores didn't carry it, Hoka only offered a few colors, 4? in sparing quantities, but it clearly had a growing audience because the colors have steadily increased to the point they produce many options. Now #7 has arrived and all of the benefits to wide shoe wearers was removed by some "stylist" who should be designing high heels not running shoes.

I love my Arahi 6s but the store only had the new 7s available. The 7s are much narrower and the material in the toe box and around the laces has no give at all. :(

The new shoes compared to the previous pair are not as comfortable. They may be too narrow, but I am not sure it that is it or not. My use is primarily walking to get 10K steps per day. My old shoes were the Gaviota 4 ?

Had heard great things about Hoka. When I put them on, they felt great at first. After my first run, my feet were killing me. I thought I had to break them in. After my 5th run, they were unwearable. I am a 10.5 in Addidas and On, they feel a tad snug but I think the shoe is just uncomfortable or not meant for my foot.

I have owned several pairs of Hoka Arahi in the past and they have always been good to go out the box. My feet were very sore afterwards and there's an ankle rub. I'm hoping they just need a little more time but it disappointing that the quality has changed.

My son requested these because he had Achilles tendonitis and they were recommended. They helped him so much, but after 3 weeks the black part on the bottom of the shoe is coming apart. I'm about to try super glueing them and hope that gets him by for a while, but I'm highly disappointed since it was such an expensive purchase for me. They are wonderful shoes, other than that.

This is my second pair of these shoes, but in this updated model, they have added a plastic piece that lines the lace holes and wraps around your ankle. When walking, this part digs into my ankle and hurts. I wish it was a softer plastic or just on the laces and not wrapping the ankle
