Unlike the other hoka's i have (clifton 9 & Tecton X) this runs narrow/tight. The comfort of the sole is the best of the 3

Have worn other Mach 6s before for a mix of easy running to tempo workouts and have loved them. However, the latest pair, which is the same size as previous, is more snug on my feet, to the point that my big toes got bruised after a long run. Pretty disappointed and curious if anyone else has experienced variance in the sizing of Mach 6s. Unsure if I will continue using them as daily trainers in the future.

I am a Mach 5 runner but realize the shoes do not last long after 3 months and only running on the weekends. Tried the Mach 6, comfortable shoe, only downfall I have is, the traction on wet surfaces. My route includes hills on the roads and I receive little response to traction so I find myself putting in more effort to push up hill taking away from the comfortable momentum already being used.

Had to return these. Bought a 9.5, which is usually my size in Hokas, but it was too small.

Have had had multiple "models" of hoka shoes and this is the only one that has ran small. you will need to order at least 1/2 size larger. had ordered 2 pairs in different colors in size 12 had to exchange for 12.5 which fit better in the one and the other the 12.5 was actually smaller than the 12 so now i am stuck having to try and do a return and order again. Seems odd that i have to reorder and they wont exchange when it is obvious that the exchange shoe is a defect and not a size 12.5. Other than running small seems to be comfortable so far for the pair that fits.

I have 3 pairs of the Profly Mach 5 and they are very comfortable for walking at my job. The Mach 6 that I recently bought and wore several times are extremely tight around the instep and the sticky, stretchy tongue is awful. My entire right foot went to sleep just driving to my job. I tried with various sock styles without success. I am now exchanging them for another model. I will continue to wear my Mach 5s until they become unwearable!

Unfortunately had to return due to size too big. Usuwears a 10 but this was too big and bit more flat than I would prefer. My 1st was Bondi 7. Which I love so the confusion for NYC pavement running. Very soft on the landing.

I bought these shoes because I loved the Mach 5 and wanted another pair just like them. But this year's version of this shoe is very different. It's good in its own way, but not like the Mach 5.

I would call these shoes black / grey vs. black on black.. I purchased for refereeing basketball and was disappointed that it wasn't truly black/black. While the photos on the site did have some color variance the shoes were much more drastic in the color difference.

My first pair of Mach 6 (and legacy Mach 5) were amazing. I run nearly every day from 2 milers to 50Ks and have loved the Mach 6. I gave this a 3 because I know the shoe is great but my recent purchase was a bad shoe. The tongue is broken (it's ripped) and I've only put 10 miles on the shoe so I'm disappointed.

If you have been running for the last few years in Mach 5's, be aware that the Mach 6 is a very different shoe. It is significantly "bouncier" and the rocking feature has been exaggerated further over that of the Mach 5. They are are still great shoes, but I definitely recommend running in them before making your purchase (I just did a quick slip on for sizing). I am sure I would have tried some of the other neutral road running shoes before buying these,

The center ridge of the sole on the shoe, causes the rubber to rub together strangely and causes a squeaking noise in the shoes when walking/running.

i ran with mach 6 "black/white" over 400 miles and got another pair in "oat milk/barley". I felt they are little different and realized that mach 6 in "oat milk/barley" is little narrow compared to in "black/white". the little difference threw me off a bit when running over 20 mile long running with them. I put average 55 miles/week in mach 6. overall i couldn't be happier with mach 6. I would buy wider mach 6 for "black/white".

I have eight pairs of Machs and Mark 5sAnd I love all of them. The Mach six has a different Sole, which was a disappointment and didn't work for my knees.

The only sneaker that I was able to be comfortable, was your Mach line, unfortunately, I see that it's no longer a low profile type running shoe!!! I'm going to make it work this time however I may have to find a different brand that gives me a lower profile ride

Loved the Mach 5s as my go to shoe. Only downsides which were tolerable were the tongue slipping and durability. Got the Mach 6s and they were off the bat easier to break in but after a handful of runs and workouts I'm not a fan. Mach 6s have a greater rocker, are more narrow, arch is higher, and stiffer shoe. If you loved your Mach 5s you'll be disappointed. If you never tried Mach 5s the Mach 6s may work as an upper Z2 and faster shoe. Overall, Im developing a few hot spots on my arch and top of foot that I didn't get ever before so definitely disappointed with the new model. If it ain't broken don't fix it is my model with shoes. I just wish shoe brands took the same approach and just created a new line to test shoes rather than retire popular models.

I love love love the Mach 5, but these are NOT good. They're too bulky, too stiff, feels like I'm running on a Styrofoam brick, please get rid of this model and bring back the Mach 5.

First day felt good, yet really the shoe is too narrow again. They don't make this shoe ini a wide, sorry to say, because the narrowness I have to return them. They are soft, almost too soft, as makes my gait unstable. The midfoot hits the ground hard and then the rock, so the shoe is much too unstable and light for me and is not supportive enough.

I was excited about the new Mach 6 release. Hoka eliminated a few shortcomings of the Mach 5: reintroduced the gusseted tongue and adding a rubber outsole for better wear. However, taking them out for a run today they felt sluggish. Contrary to advertisement, the Mach 5 feels snappier. The Mach 6 feels more like a recovery run shoe akin to the Bondi. This is not bad by itself - I like Bondis and have owned a few pairs, and use them for more relaxing recovery runs. But in competing with the Bondi this shoe is redundant for me. Another thing I noticed is that the extended heel spur is gone when compared to the prior version. This heel spur really helped me cure out an Achilles injury a couple years back as it cantilevered my foot down gently as a predominantly heel striker. It does not have to be as exaggerated as a Ten Nine, but a slight extension really helps. I am a big Hoka fan, and that has not changed. I will always look for Hoka running shoes first. However, I've decided to sit this one out and pick up a Mach 5 on sale for now , poor wear and tongue and all, to replace an older worn out model until the next Mach version arrives.

I got the Mach 6's a couple days ago and have taken them out on 2 runs/workouts including an 11 mile walk. These are very firm for a Hoka and caused some serious shin pain that cut this mornings workout short. These aren't as soft or fun to run in as the Mach 5's and really lack that road feel. The new grip on them creates an unpleasant feel underfoot on long walks and isn't a positive for the shoe. On a run these are good for picking up the pace but feel very bland and unexciting overall. These are also a narrow shoe that feel very unstable underfoot so be conscious of that. They do look great and have good turnover when picking up the pace but that's where the positives end. A disappointing 6/10 type shoe for me.

Can't recommend this shoe for comfort. Definitely a lower quality shoe. The tongue is short and doesn't protect the top of the foot.
