I saw the comments but not enough specifics on "why" to order a size up. After all, the sole fits my foot shape perfectly. What it was for me was that the "shoe upper" seems to be more sturdy (i.e. less flexible) and doesn't seem to be as high as my other Hoka's. Also, the added sturdiness was chosen to be inside the shoe rather than outside. This resulted in a constant shoe vs toe pressure on the top outers of my big toes while running. 5 star but minus 1 for having to deal with a return. (ordered a 12.5 and returned for a 13). On the plus side, Hoka has a pretty generous return policy.

Very comfortable shoes for long walks. Has enough but not too much cushioning. Soles are a good thickness without feeling bouncy. The regular width fits my somewhat narrow feet perfectly.

Hoka was not a familia brand for me. But, someone recommended it and I decided to try it and I'm glad I did. The shoe fits amazingly well and makes my feet feel comfortable. As for my running and walking, I can't believe how it feels as if I can move faster than I used to. As for the ordering, the website wasn't too informative as to whether both pairs I ordered were being sent together then once I figured 2nd pair was being sent to me from a different location, I began tracking it. But, the tracking offered no information and when I called customer service, I was told it must have been a glitch to have caused my delay or not provide me with more information.

I am trying the Hoka Mach 6 for the first time and I am really liking it. There are minor issues but overall its a great fit. I have been using this for few weeks now and its helping me a lot with my running and walking. Good thing is its very light weight and fits your feet perfectly.

Like these shoes but the biggest complaint I have is they squeak very loudly with every step I take.

I bought these for my boyfriend, we’ve been wearing the Mach series since 2020 (so the 4s). The color was beautiful. But for some reason these and the 5s are too tight in the regular fit. Clearly I’m not the only one, because EE is sold out everywhere.

I really like these shoes, they fit true to size and fit is pretty spot on. The feel like and responsive. I My only issue is with the tongue. I've never experience this with any other shoe, but for some reason regardless of how I lace the shoes the left tongue feels like it presses down hard over my ankle. I'm tempted to cut a slit into the tongue to relief some pressure off of it but I don't want to risk voiding the warranty. I'm hoping it needs to break in more, but so far every run has caused pain/discomfort in that spot.

I tried Saucony Ride 17 and Novablast 4, Prior to Mark 6 purchase. And those weren't at all comfy or Bouncy, The Mark 6 are very comfortable and bouncy, maybe a bit too bouncy. But I do like the shoe, I hade to order a 1/2 size up.

I'm an overnight manager in a grocery store in charge of the night crew I walk anywhere from 4 to 10 miles a night. I usually average about 6.7 for the week on concrete floor so far these mach 6 are my favorite if they made of GTX version of this I would be one happy camper

After years of searching, I fell in love with the Mach 5, the best running shoe I had ever found to fit me...; with my choices now limited, I decided to go with the Mach 6. It is an excellent running shoe but does not provide the comfort or adequate toe box the Mach 5 did. A decent daily runner, but not the same

I love the feel of the Mach 6 when first worn out of the box with one big exception...It is a bit narrow in a size D and is a bit more narrow than the Mach 5. That being said, it is a very bouncy, energetic shoe for about 100 miles. After that, the rocker becomes less pronounced, and the bouncy feeling in the mid-sole declines. Could be Hoka's best shoe if they can correct the "narrow fit" and add some life to the shoe.

Before purchasing online (aware of the great return policy) I read the reviews. That being said I was expecting the Mach 6 to be totally different than the Mach 5 (which I purchased 4 pairs and love) Most reviews were about the shoe sizing and toe box being smaller than the 5s. I'd agree with this. I have a wide foot so I typically order half size up and the wide option, going up half a size only made this shoe fit just a little too snug. Not too tight, but not cramping my foot. I went on a 5k run right away: too tight about the mid foot, extra grippy (new rubber layer on bottom of shoe), there seems to be more material in the heel area for cushion too. Second run 10k: I loosened my laces, and the shoe felt better. Bouncy, lighter, and feels more like the race day shoe I was looking for. All in all it's not a Mach 5. I don't have any major complaints because I understand there would be some changes. will keep these. Fly on

This is an amazing shoe. However, advertising the color to be all black is deceiving. They are black and grey, and actually I would say 60% grey/40% black. I run in these and wanted a second pair in all black to wear as a basketball official.

This is my 3rd version of the Machs that I've owned and run in. Personally use Clifton's for slow easy runs and Machs for my faster runs. These did end up being a little snug compared to past versions so I've exchanged them for half size up my normal hoka size and now they're perfect.

I thought I had chosen the women's size 8 but ended up being men's so the fit a little big. Other than that, I absolutely love them.

I've had three pairs of cliftons in size 11, so I bought these in size 11 as well and it rubs quite a bit on my big and little toes. Might get better as it breaks in, but I definitely wish I went a little bigger. I don't really understand why even running shoes prioritize an "aesthetically pleasing" pointy toe shape that looks nothing like anyone's actual foot. Altra seems to be the only company doing anything different. It would be nice if hoka could adapt a wider toe box. Other than that though everything seems great so far. They look great, feel lighter than Cliftons, I was able to run 10 miles with some tempo right off the bat, and they performed great. The rubber on the bottom is slippery on wet asphalt, so perhaps that could also be improved, but overall pretty good.

Just an awesome shoe that you can run long in, use as an every day trainer, use for speed work and use for racing. One complaint? The toe box needs to be just a bit wider in a men's D. The wide size is just too sloppy for me. I sell Hokas in a running shop, and this a complaint mentioned by many would-be buyers.

Shoes are super comfortable and support lots of walking. I did however find that one of the inside soles appears to be shredded somewhat after only wearing 5 days.

It is a Hoka, well built. But it is a big departure from the previous Mach models… the sole has a very different feel and there was a LOT of “rocking” added to it. After a 5 mile run my feet are begging to get out of them… but maybe I would need some time getting used to the new gait. They also feel faster… In my case I do not need that. I used to run on Cliftons and moved to the Mach… I also just got the newest Clifton… great shoe… I am going back to the Cliftons.

As a previous owner of the Mach 4, I feel as though the Mach 6 fits a little more narrow than its predecessor. I love the lightweight aspect of the Mach series & it has the perfect bounce for light runners (I usually run 3-6 miles, nothing too crazy), but I'd recommend either going up a half-size or trying a wide. Still a great shoe though.
