Much lighter than expected & Like walking on water balloons. My feet love these shoes. I don't like to spent over $100 on much but these you will notice the difference. any kind of wide feet get EE, regular fit is kind of narrow.

I bought this second pair for my husband who is a nurse and he, absolutely, loves them. He finds them to be super light and comfortable, which is a huge plus when you're on your feet 12 hours a day.

Super lite, and the firm outsole is great for bouncing off the concrete.

I bought several mach4 and 5 in the past years and was worried this year's model wasn't gonna be as good but I was wrong! they are even better than last. Little narrow around the toe box

I'm running in the Hoka Mach 6 because it feels very similar to the Saucony Endorphin Speed 3. Unfortunately, Saucony failed miserably with the Endorphin Speed 4, and I had to make the move to Hoka, which I have never tried before. In comparing this shoe to the Endorphin Speed 3, during my first run I noticed some additional impact resistance in the forefoot. However, after a few miles I could no longer distinguish the Hoka Mach 6 from the seven pairs of Saucony Endorphin Speed 3s that I have run through. The shoe may be a bit narrower, but this tightness was alleviated by leaving some paper shoe packaging material inside the shoe overnight. A very nice well made running shoe that I can wear in the cold if needed and buy in conservative colors without being forced to run or race in New Balance stupid pink.

I had the Mach 5 before the Mach 6. If you have the old version I would highly recommend upgrading! The Mach 6 propels you forward with a nice subtle spring. The reinforced heel feels so good and supportive. I've heard people don't like the tight fit but I love it! It give a great ride and I would recommend these shoes.

I put 52 miles (84 kM) on these shoes prior to writing this review. As a prior very satisfied runner in the Mach 5, I was skeptical of the changes made to the Mach 6.
First try-on: The shoe felt higher off the ground than the Mach 5, a little bouncier, and a little less firm. The toe box had plenty of room for me both side-to-side and vertically (note that I ordered wides, as I usually do). The mid-foot provided a very secure feel. The heal was a little less secure for me than the Mach 5, but it has caused me no problems during any runs.
First run: I ran a 7:15/mi interval workout on my first outing. My shoe experience was great. They felt like a Hoka. However, they didn't quite feel like a Mach, yet.
Subsequent runs: I ran distances of 2 miles to 14.5 miles (3-23 kM) in these shoes at interval paces ranging from 6:00/mi to 10:30/mi (~3:45-6:30/kM). I also threw a handful of sprints at the shoes. The Mach 6 has broken in nicely, and I could feel the familiar guidance of the Mach series within a couple of runs. For me, the Mach 5 felt best at anything under 9 minutes per mile and began to feel flat for any runs longer than ten miles. This new Mach 6 feels best at a wider range of paces without sacrificing too much at faster paces. They did not feel flat at any point on my 14.5 mile run (all on concrete). Wet traction has been pretty good.
Durability: I put over 300 miles (500 kM) on my Mach 5's prior to ordering the Mach 6. At 52 miles, my Mach 6's have a little wear on the newly designed outsole, but nothing concerning. I expect these to be a 400-500 mile (640-800 kM) shoe for my running style and my typical running surfaces (mixed concrete and gravel trail).
Final thoughts: Great job Hoka! I was skeptical of the changes, but they have resulted in my favorite running shoe to date.

I have really enjoyed running in my Mach 6 shoes. A highly cushioned running shoe that is very light. This is a daily training shoe for me that is performing well.

I'm a believer in Hoka shoes. I've mostly worn Bondis and trails shoes and boots before. I've started running lately and decided to get a Hoka made for running. Its lighter and more responsive but still has enough cushioning. As always with Hoka shoes I was able to run in them right out of the box with no break in period. The fit was perfect for me also.

This model (MACH 6), is a return to better days! I am a nurse and I have worn HOKA's to work in for over 10 yearsthe first pair I ever wore were like these, but the next 9 pairs were just not as "cushy", though they were cushy enough to get me through the long days on my feet. HOKA, you need to put clouds in EVERY model! Thank you, from the bottom of my "sole" for these shoes!

Very comfortable. I love the cushion soles, and the thin-style tongue (like my Rincon 3). I would recommend to anyone!

I'm a larger runner and these for sure handle every mile they get challenged with. I now own 4 pairs if that tells you anything. The seasonal white ones finally have the style we all waited for in Hoka.

A light fun ride with no pain and picks up the pace when you push it. That's everything I wanted...
My Hoka journey began two and a half years ago and 60 lbs heavier. I started with Arahis and as my weight dropped and my form improved I did not need a stability shoe.
The Clifton 9 became my workhorse for my second marathon training cycle, but while a perfectly good all purpose trainer felt sluggish. This training cycle I wanted to mist it up, and opted for a snappier ride for fartleks and some interval work as a complement a max trainer for long runs.
Enter the Mach 6. It is the lighter run shoe I wanted. This shoe is fun and well-cushioned, giving you a sense that you could go longer.
I have an E width foot and went with the wide option, fits perfectly.

I stand 8+ hours a day at work. My feet use to hurt so bad no matter the shoe I wore and trust me they were name brand and expensive. From the moment I put my Hoka's on my feet, I felt like I was walking on firm pillows. Purchasing these shoes was the best investment I've made all year.
