My tread shows terrible wear after short time. Has happened twice now.

I opened the shoe up as wide as it would go and my feet didn't fit. I have a pair of Kawana 1 and I love them. What happened to Kawana 2

A defective pair, zero support, an hour (no joke, literally an hour) spent talking to customer support, who responded within 5 minutes, to no avail. The sneakers themselves are fine, if only they'd at least been checked for defects before shipping. The website's user experience (UX) is a nightmare, especially for iPhone users.

After just a few months of ownership, the emblems start pealing off the shoes. Don't waste your money unless you want shoes that aren't aesthetically pleasing. Don't waste your money shipping item in for warranty claim because they will send back to you claiming "normal wear and tear." This was my husband's first pair of Hokas and he loved them, but unfortunately, it will be the last.

Im not a fan of this model as they're my second pair. They aren't comfortable at all and hurt my feet

It fit like all my Hokas. The reason for the return is the pokey thing out the back heel. I'll catch my foot going down stairs. Dangerous for me.

These shoes are wearing very quickly, something I find common on most HOKAs I have owned when compared to other shoe brands like Saucony, etc. I attempted to replace them via warranty ($16 shipping) with a different style, but that warranty request was rejected. Overall my experience with HOKA has been very poor and I don't think I'll try them again any time soon.

No other pair of shoes has hurt my feel this much. I don't have wide feet but this is painfully narrow. Toes are completely crushed in the front. Feels like its half a size smaller than labeled.

The arch is so high the pain was unbearable.

Shoes were narrow due to the fact that they don't come in wide, horrible feeling experience.

I have 5 different pairs of the original Kawana and love how that shoe fit for my daily running. I had to buy the Kawana 2 since I could no longer find the original Kawana. First there is no need to put a loop on the back if the shoe it was easy to slip on the original Kawana and the loop looks silly. The shoe is shorter and just a crappy shoe altogether. Why they feel a need to change a great shoe is beyond me. Sadly I will not be buying anymore shoes at this time and will start going back to Brooks running shoes. Buyer beware in the Kawana 2 if you loved the original Kawana. I never leave reviews but I felt I needed to as I truly loved the original Kawana.

Your text is already quite clear, but here's a slight refinement for smoother flow: I returned the first pair due to a defective sole and received a replacement. After about a week, the same defect occurred. I just sent them back for a refund. Aside from that, the shoes are comfortable and stylish.

Narrow shoe no wide options

A portion of the sole fell apart, sent pictures to CS, and they will not ship a new pair until the defective pair is returned. Not sure what they want with defective sneakers. Now I have to find a box, ship the shoes, and wait for a replacement. Seems like the burden is on me even though there product failed.

I'll be returning this selection as the shoe toe box is a flimsy plastic with no support. I currently wear the discontinued Asaka model. The Asaka is a well built shoe. I'm looking at other brands that haven't reduced quality YET?

Purchased online didn't notice how overwhelming the gold on the front was. Not very comfortable either.

Walking

I thought these could be comfortable for me but nope. I have the transports and they are comfy thought these could be better I think maybe they have too much arch for my feet or something.

The shoe is causing a callus to develop on my big toe where there was none before.

I've worn nothing but Hoka the past few years and I fell in love with them. I just bought Kawana 9 and they are the most uncomfortable shoe ever! When I'm sitting down my feet tend to fall asleep.
