I've been wearing Hoka for years. I decided to look for something different as I usually buy from Hoka. However this ones are not comfortable at all. There's something in the right shoe that makes me feel pain in my arch. I wouldn't recommend to buy kawana 2 :(

The sole in the back is not desirable. Way worse than it looked in pictures.

Ordered this shoe, and once received, it had a weird pointy part that sticks out in the back. It looks really weird! I exchanged the item online for a different style shoe, while the website was running a 20% off deal. They canceled my exchange order, saying it was a payment issue, but it was the same card the original item was purchased with and works fine. Dealing with customer service was horrible!!! They refused to honor the discount if I reordered the shoe, after they made an error with running the payment. I have never dealt with a company that refuses to make it right. Just keep that in mind, and think twice about exchanging. Just return an item and order a new one to be safe.

This was my first pair of Hoka shoes and they came with a torn lace loop, so I had to immediately return them…never got to wear them. Based on the packaging I am pretty sure they were already returned once before maybe for the same reason. Needless to say I am now weary of ordering shoes from Zappos. I also will not purchase Hoka again because brand new shoes, for the price I paid, should not come rip/torn.

When I received my Hoka's. The laces didn't even match with the shoe, and they would not send me the correct laces that belong to the correct shoe. I will return them for a full refund and not purchase any more Hoka's ever again. I thought they guaranteed their products. Not my fault someone shipped the wrong color laces with my shoes. Bad customer service. I work in the medical field and will spread the word about my bad experience. I do not recommend this product. It's overrated and overpriced for you get.

I've had three pairs of the Kawana 2 shoe and I loved them. They were recommended to me after I was diagnosed with arthritis in my feet. I'm returning my fourth pair because the shoe no longer has an arch support. I thought maybe it was a flaw so I returned a pair and requested a replacement. The second pair were no better. I'm so disappointed. They were stylish and supported my feet but I can no longer wear them.

I have several pairs of Hoka sneakers and this style (Kawana 2) is the one I am most disappointed/dissatisfied with. I have a pair of Bondi and two pairs of Clifton 9. The Kawana causes blisters on my toes and the laces are horrible: they do not stay tied and are a serious tripping hazard. I have never had the laces of my other hokas come loose, neither have I experienced blisters with the other styles. I bought the Kawana because it was touted as the best for the gym; I have had to resort to my Clifton 9 as my go to gym shoes. Very disappointed.

Bought a pair of Kawana 2 and thought they were pretty good overall. However after just under 3 months of use the material around the lace holes is peeling away. I figured maybe it was just a glitch and I could contact Hoka to get it taken care of. What I'm most disappointed in is that I have to pay to ship them to Hoka and that money is lost. So I'm actually paying more money for a pair of defective shoes. They pretty clearly just stand behind their policy - not necessarily their warranty.

I wanted to love Hoka shoesI really did. With my wide feet, I was thrilled to finally find a pair that felt like walking on clouds. Unfortunately, after going through two pairs with the exact same defect, I have to throw in the towel. Both pairs developed significant ripping and tearing on the outside sole within a year of daily walking. I'm not a marathon runner; I just use them for regular walks. This isn't normal wear and tearI have plenty of other shoes from different brands that have lasted much longer without this issue. It looks like the shoe is completely tearing from the rubber sole. To make matters worse, dealing with Hoka's customer service was a headache. Despite providing clear photos of the defect, they refused a refund unless I paid to ship the shoes back for inspection. At this point, I can't justify spending more money just to prove a flaw that's already obvious. As comfortable as these shoes are, their durability (or lack thereof) and poor customer service make them a hard pass for me in the future. Really disappointed.

The new design for this shoe is terrible. Not sure why they changed anything. The height of the toe box is way too much fabric. The new loops for the laces are designed in a way that makes it very difficult to tighten the laces. Really hope they go back to the previous design. Would be nice to have a Hoka that fits people with low volume feet.

This shoe is not comfortable, too hard and although the toebox looks wide it was so narrow that it ended up causing a blister on my toe after only 1 wear. I cannot return as I threw away the box and packing slip and now left with this expensive purchase. Perhaps a wide option in this model should be made available

These are the ugliest shoes I've ever seen. The heel looks like a cow hoof and one side sticks out way farther than the other side? The edges are badly frayed straight out of the box and look very cheap. The color of the photos was not true to the actual shoe. I've loved my other hokas but this pair was very disappointing.
