Very odd support to the feet, I love HOKA but this one had to be returned.

I wanted to love Hoka shoesI really did. With my wide feet, I was thrilled to finally find a pair that felt like walking on clouds. Unfortunately, after going through two pairs with the exact same defect, I have to throw in the towel. Both pairs developed significant ripping and tearing on the outside sole within a year of daily walking. I'm not a marathon runner; I just use them for regular walks. This isn't normal wear and tearI have plenty of other shoes from different brands that have lasted much longer without this issue. It looks like the shoe is completely tearing from the rubber sole. To make matters worse, dealing with Hoka's customer service was a headache. Despite providing clear photos of the defect, they refused a refund unless I paid to ship the shoes back for inspection. At this point, I can't justify spending more money just to prove a flaw that's already obvious. As comfortable as these shoes are, their durability (or lack thereof) and poor customer service make them a hard pass for me in the future. Really disappointed.

The new design for this shoe is terrible. Not sure why they changed anything. The height of the toe box is way too much fabric. The new loops for the laces are designed in a way that makes it very difficult to tighten the laces. Really hope they go back to the previous design. Would be nice to have a Hoka that fits people with low volume feet.

They were nice and comfortable when I tried them on. Took to work. I work in a pharmacy . I was dying at the end of my shift . Considered working just on my socks.

This shoe is not comfortable, too hard and although the toebox looks wide it was so narrow that it ended up causing a blister on my toe after only 1 wear. I cannot return as I threw away the box and packing slip and now left with this expensive purchase. Perhaps a wide option in this model should be made available

These are the ugliest shoes I've ever seen. The heel looks like a cow hoof and one side sticks out way farther than the other side? The edges are badly frayed straight out of the box and look very cheap. The color of the photos was not true to the actual shoe. I've loved my other hokas but this pair was very disappointing.

These are giant shoes for fat feet. Narrow footed people stay clear

I was so excited to wear this shoe, it felt so plush in store. I'm a hairstylist and prioritize the comfort of my body after a long day at the salon. After only 3 hours of wearing these shoes, my back hurt VERY badly. After some research, I found that these shoes have no arch support, not at all. Actually, only the Arahi 7 has firm inner arch support for high arches. I'm shocked and disappointed; I thought HOKAs were designed more thoughtfully than that. I returned these after that one wear because my back hurt for the rest of the day.

Wanted to find another workout shoe brand that focuses on foot health but these shoes are just not worth the price for the fit. Although light to the feel, the design and material did not feel sturdy nor supportive of my toes nor arch. We need shoes designed by podiatrists with a flair NOT cartoonists selling yet another cheaply made product with high mark up.

I got this pair to rotate with my other hokas. The others have held up very well after one year so I thought I'd try this model to rotate. So I do not wear these often on for long, parts of the bottom are shredding off so easily it is terrible and haven't even used them 2 months. Very frustrating.

Everyone kept telling me about Hoka, but these might be the worse shoes I've spent so much money on. I'm 70, have a retail job 3 days a week standing on concrete for up to 6 hrs straight. Have bad knees, was hoping these would help but I can barely walk when I get off work. Guess I'm too old for these shoes, but stuck with them as I have been wearing only during at work for the last 3 weeks. Might be great if you're young but definitely not for the elderly. Very sad as I was hopeful they would help.

Returning these sneakers as I was sent a perfect pair (for me) BUT with scuffed toes, shoe laces askew and no packaging in the box!!!!!!!!!!!Obviously, worn by another person, not inspected upon return and sent to me, the next interested buyer, quite quickly, even for Zappos! I've never experienced this low quality of service from Zappos OR Amazon for that matter! SO disappointing...

I loved the Kawana 1 shoe for cross training at the gym. It was absolutely perfect. After 2 years of gym use 3-4 days/week, I decided to order another pair. I don't know why, but the sizing is completely different. These were so large and sloppy. I laced them as tight as I could and still couldn't get them comfortable. I held them up to the old show, and sure enough they are about 1/4 inch wider- almost as if they are now unisex. Going to try another style before I switch brands, but I really loved these.
