I currently own Clifton nine Bond eight shoes I recently purchased these shoes and two colors this and a white one. I've been trying to break into the black ones I've been wearing them for the past couple of days been walking about 4 miles a day and let me tell you they are not comfortable at all, I wouldn't recommend these unless you just wanna wear them with casual wear and just go to work and come home but you can't walk in these shoes for a long time and addition they squeak which is embarrassing

I own a couple of pairs of Hoka transports. I was excited to see the gray and brown colors available in the gtx version, and that they were waterproof. Unfortunately, in the same size as my regular transports, the gtx were way too tight even after adjusting. These are probably great for people with narrow feet. Maybe if they make the gtx in a wide, I'd be able to buy some again.

The shoe cushion is fine but the width is a little narrow in the front of the shoe. Why is it making the popping sound whenI'm walking? Wanted to take on a trip but the popping would be annoying in a restaurant or museum.

Comfortable shoe, however when I wore them around my house for a couple of hours my feet were hot! I would exchange them, but the lower heal , which may be goor for walking on flat surfaces, seemed like they would impede s going down stairs.

Bought in the spring and worn out by the end of the summer. No tread left and I found out the hard way when I kept falling on loose trail gravel when going down not so steep inclines. That was their last trail. :(

Wanted these gortex Hoja Transport to work but after several hours of wearing, had pressure over base of first metatarsals, both feet. Had same issue with Clifton 9 goretex. The ATR challenger GTX has miles of travel but was looking for a more neutral color for travel. Love my regular Arahi and Cliftons

Love the lower profile and neutral tones of these shoes. Plus, they're lightweight, waterproof and have pull-on laces, which are all positives. However, I wouldn't recommend the Transport GTX because the shoes are not comfortable - hard and no support. After just one hour of a hill hike, I was looking forward to taking them off already. Regarding the fit, these run smaller than other Hoka models I own - Bondi, Challenger ATR, Anacapa, Stinson ATR. They fit closer to Nike sizing. Personally, I like the smaller fit because I feel Hokas typically run too big and too wide.

I've got two other pairs of Hokas that I love, so I had high hopes for these. Sadly, I found them too narrow and had to send them back. I exchanged for the Clifton 9 GTX and so far those are working out much better.

I bought these to use in the winter/fall and also to use for just walking the neighborhood and hikes. I initially thought they were great just wearing for errands but when I wore them for a long walk I came home with the worst heel pain. I own the clifton 9 and the bondi's and have never had that issue. I also did not like the stiffness of the material and I feel like it made my feet feel colder not warmer. So unfortunately I will be returning.

I normally wear a 7.5 in Hoka Gaviota, the 7.5 in these was so tight. I sized up to 8.5 as the 8 was still too tight. They were ok, but a bit long. I have walked a lot in them and would never order them again. I consider them a waist of money, they hurt my feet and make a weird sound every time I walk because the shoe material is so stiff. They are waterproof and keep my feet warm but because they are so still they really haven't molded to my feet correctly. It is unfortunate. I was hoping for a good waterproof walking shoe, I will stick with my On Cloud waterproof shoes .

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I bought them in size 8 B-medium. I wears size 8 M regular shoes. These are very narrow and feel tight around the whole foot. Colour is OK. Length is OK. But overoll not a good shoes. Soles have a lot of some white stuff. I do not know if someone tried it on a surface with it or whatever happened there. Too stiff, too narrow. Too bad because it would be nice to have Gore-Tex sneakers.

I ordered both the regular Transport and the Transport GTX based on the description and the reviews as it seemed like this would suit my active style needs. I decided to get the GTX version for being outdoors during the wetter morning conditions along with the non-GTX version for when it's sunny and dry outside. However the GTX version is stiffer and sore/uncomfortable to walk in. Even when wearing each side by side (GTX on one foot and non-GTX on the other foot) I can notice the significant difference in comfort and cushion.

I've had these shoes for about 6 months now. I was super excited to finally invest in Hokas after having the majority of coworkers highly recommend them (nursing). These are by far the most comfortable shoe I've worn at work. I also like the liquid resistant aspect due to working around chemicals/body fluids. And not having to worry about laces is so nice. BUTTTTT they've started squeaking SO BAD over the past month or two and I won't be able to wear them anymore, it's driving me crazy. It's a bummer because I love literally everything else about them except the squeaking.

Wanted a waterproof tennis shoe. Had hoped these would work. Fit was true to size, but shoe was very stiff and tight with athletic socks, but loose with thinner socks. Felt awkward for walking.

This shoe feels like it runs small, being that my toe was being rubbed by the front part of the shoe & that my pinky was getting squished. Too narrow and short. I can't say I have time to try again before my vacation, so I am super bummed.

The pink GTX transports are absolutely adorable, but the toe box is painfully small because the waterproof material does not stretch. I wear a 7 in the regular transports and had to go up to an 8 in the GTX to get enough room in the toe box. SO DISAPPOINTED because these are freaking adorable. Also, FYI, the regular laces they come with are bright pink and honestly so perfect.

Absolutely terrific product design and features with one exception. They are smaller in how they fit than regular HOKAs. I buy about 3-4 HOKAs a year and they fit great. These were tight in the toe box and were uncomfortable after walking a while. I thought at first it was a manufacturing defect and exchanged them, but nope. These too were way too small. If they fixed this issue, I would love them. Interestingly I have an older pair, different color, and those were always fine. I don't know what happened in their manufacturing for these. Have to send them back.

I've seen so many people wearing these. I finally decided to order them because I struggle with balance issues. They are clunky and wide, they are not easy to put on like most shoes these days. The little loop in the back folds in when sliding on. The "Gortex" is simply the same cheap plastic used in shoes for years. I normally buy leather but did decide to try them. The wideness makes them do this weird collapse on the sides unlike leather would response. I hate them and have tried to wear them for a few weeks to give them a chance but it's a no go. Money wasted and they don't live up to the hype!

I tried going up half a size since there is no wide fit but it still hurts my toes so badly. Please make one with a wide width option. I am a medical professional whose on her feet for 14-16 hrs per day and I won't be able to last in my shift wearing this shoe if my feet hurts. :(

I wear regular 6.5 Women in 5 of my other Hokas but find both Transport and especially the Transport GTX to be narrower than normal. Please consider making the Transports in Wide.

I usually buy "wide" Hokas. Then I tried the (regular) Transport Hoka and it fits comfortably even after working 12hrs. I was excited that Hoka released an upgraded version and bought Transport GTX expecting that it will provide the same comfort and support as the previous version. Unfortunately, I had to return it because it hurts my feet especially around the wider part of my foot. I even used it for a week to try to "break in" the shoes but it's just too painful. I wish Hoka will release a "wide" option for this style.

I have tried to like these shoes but just can't. I have put them on several times, but just walking around the house I know I'd never be able to wear them a full day. The material is like plastic and the sole in the outside heal area gives out while walking. They are NOT the quality of my other Hokas. I'm very disappointed!!
