In the medical field we are always in our feet and these shoes keep my feet happy all day, even on 12 hour shifts. I bought my first pair a year and loved them so much I bought another.

My orthopedic surgeon suggested Hoka shoes after having surgery to repair my big toe joint from Hallux Ridgidus. My wife and I travel a lot and walk as we explore our destinations. The colors of other Hokas often clashed, they were bulky and were not waterproof. The Transport GTX shoes work much better for my needs. They fit great and look much better. Just a note about sizing, I wear a size 10 in most shoes but size 11 works best for me in Hokas for some reason.

I have had two pair of Bondi 8 shoes and decided to try a pair of Transport GTX this time and totally love them. They are extremelt supportive and comfiortable as well as being very easy to put on.

I bought them for my husband for work. He stands for part of the day so these are perfect for his tired achy feet.

Quality shoe that fits right and is comfortable but not too mushy. I like the quick lace and color choice too.

These are great shoes! I have average feet and these fit perfectly. Color is spot on (blue for me). Great cushioning and support as well. Love them so much I'm getting a pair in another color!!

I typically buy the Gaviota model from HOKA because I previously had plantar fasciitisI can never find a comfortable golf shoe from any vendor, so I figured I would try a waterproof version HOKA shoe and I chose the transport GTX that is waterproof Gore-Tex.I have used them now for a few weeks, and so far so good. They are definitely more comfortable than the normal golf shoe and the traction seems fine

I have two pairs of Hoka Cliftons and like then. I bought them because they are wide. I bought the Transport GTX in preparation for a hiking trip. I wore them around the house and while running on a treadmill to "break them in" and it very quickly became obvious that this is a narrow shoe. I had them "stretched" at my local orthotics shop but this did not help.

Great ever for hitting the uneven streets of nyc! My feet hurt from my other sneakers.. but these, especially being gortex are perfect for the winter months

Initially I would have given them a 5 star, but after wearing them for over a week of long walks, I would have liked a wider toe box. The quality of the shoe is impeccable and the look is quite good. Next pair I will take care to make sure the toe box is wider. I would recommend to a friend with the caveat that they pay attention to the width of the toe box.

A couple of months ago, I picked up my third pair of Hokas after completely wearing out my Bondis and still squeezing the last miles out of my ankle-high Trailcode GTX. This time, I wanted something a bit more mainstream-lookingsomething I could wear daily without standing out too much. After reading review after review, I decided to try the Hoka Transport GTX. Overall, it's a great shoe. The style is decentclean and versatile enough for everyday wear. Living in Iceland, good support, grip, and waterproofing aren't optionalthey're essential. In those categories, the Transport GTX performs very well. The real test came during a quick trip to rainy Glasgow and the Scottish Highlands. The comfort level was outstanding. I walked mile after mile with ease and never once felt sore or fatigued. Unfortunately, the relentless Glasgow rain eventually got the better of them. My feet ended up dampnot soaked, but definitely not dry. I suspect the Gore-Tex itself held up fine, but the tongue design probably allowed water to seep in. A night on a warm radiator took care of the issue, and they were good to go again the next day. Back home, the Transports remain my daily shoes. I especially like the sole designit offers excellent grip and stability on wet streets and gravel paths alike. Still, when these eventually wear out, I might return to the Bondi or another higher-cut Hoka model for a bit more weather protection. All in all, the Hoka Transport GTX is a comfortable, versatile, and well-built shoe that's just shy of perfect for truly wet climates.

The shoes feel great and so do my feet at the end of the night. I've walked through puddles in the rain, and the waterproofing is working well. However, the left shoe squeaks very loudly inside the toe area with each step. Not too noticeable in the loud factory, but very annoying anywhere else.

I have 2 other pairs of Transports that I like a lot. The GORE-TEX version seems narrower than the regular Transports. The fit is quite snug. I wish I’d ordered a wide, but wonder if that would have been too wide.

Shoe performed well but the continuous lace was weak at the single connection point. recommend putting this junction at a low stress point (near the toe of the shoe).

My foot size is 12 but decided to go half size up and ordered two pairs in size 12.5. The Reg Transport fits perfectly but the GTX runs smaller and hurts my toes so I gave it away! Order a full size up in the GTX version!

I've purchased non-GORE-TEX Hoka Transports before and these are about the same except they do not seem to breathe as well and are therefore keep your feet warmer (which is why I wish I hadn't bought them at the beginning of the Summer!).

I've purchased countless number of HOKA running shoes for the past 8 years. My go-to line is the Challenger ATR after the Clifton re-design years ago. I was looking for a walking shoe with the familiar HOKA feel that was also able to withstand the PNW weather. The HOKA Transport GTX fits the bill. I've had the shoes now for a couple of months and am incredibly happy with them. They are extremely comfortable, great for walking and hold up to the elements. Time will tell how they hold up, but after many many miles so far, they still look like they do on day one. I haven't experienced the squeaking that other reviewers have. I really like how they slip on and tie. Overall, if you are looking for a great walking shoe for not so sunny weather this is a shoe for you

I thought this shoe was very suitable for traveling. I usually wear size 8.5. After receiving the shoe, I felt it was a little small, so I changed to size 9. It is very comfortable to wear, but it is a little narrow in the front, which is not a problem.

Bought for my husband. He liked it very much. Hopefully more quick toggle laces options for most shoes for the young at heart that hates tying laces. He just wished it has more cushion/ plushier.

I bought this shoe for walking (exercise). The shoe was very tight upon arrival so now I see why they added loops at the heel to assist with pulling them on. This is NOT a slip om shoe. However, onve on and tightened, they provide a secure feel to your feet. The shoes have stretched somewhat and are much easire to get on and off after a bit of break in time.
