The shoe did not hold my foot anywhere near as well as the other HOKA pairs I own. It felt as if the sole was not molded correctly as my foot was uncomfortable and my toes were cramped and rubbed the top of the shoe.

Received the shoe and inspected it. Great color and design. However stitching was falling apart the the bottoms of the shoes were covered in some sort of white paint and white feathers. I had smelled it and it smelled used/ stinky socks
Customer service offered exchange.
This is the second time I had issues in a week with shoes showing up in bad condition.

I'm a huge fan of Hoka, but unfortunately this shoe fell flat. I will say it looks amazing however
when you walk it sounds like you're wearing flip flops. It was so loud and annoying. Had to return them :( I hope this gets resolved as the entire design is very nice.

I have six pairs of Hokas and love them all EXCEPT these. They are so tight my feet begin to throb. And there is no breathability. Same size as I always get but a totally different fit and feel. Sending them back..

To: Hoka and why I am returning the Transport GTX, Galaxy/Astral, 11.5
First, I should like to say I own a number of Hoka shoes because of the comfort, support and traction they provide ( FYI your Bondi leathers were the best).
I purchase a pair of standard Transport at the local running shop, not for running, but for fair weather golf. The fit and finish is excellent. I visited your web-site and saw that there was a Gore-Tex version, the GTX. I purchased a pair of the GTX online anticipating a good shoe for wet conditions.
The GTX's arrived, the fit was fine, but the thickness of the sole treat caused me concern compared to the standard Transports. A visual inspection of the GTX's told me the treat depth was about 1/2 the depth of the standard Transport. And I am not willing to buy a shoe with 1/2 the sole gone.
I measured the tread depth on one shoe using a digital caliper on the GTX and the standard Transport. Here are the average depths (n = 5):
Standard Transport;
Heel depth: mean = 3.57 mm, Std. Dev = 0.13
Ball depth: mean = 3.48 mm, Std. Dev = 0.19
GTX Transport;
Heel depth: mean = 2.22 mm, Std. Dev = 0.12
Ball depth: mean = 1.92 mm, Std. Dev = 0.10
Not quite 50 percent less, but enough to consider the GTX unacceptable. There is a quality issue with the GTX's

Hey there
Unfortunately the shoes are not doing great for me. I have always used your challenger goretex shoes and they were great. The goretex allowed for breathability while providing water proofing. These new transport goretex shoes don't breathe and and my feet end up drenched in perspiration. And that is just from walking around. I have to change socks multiple times a day.. The shoes are comfortable but don't give you any breathability.
I am gonna have to go back to the challenger gtx

There are white speck marks everywhere on the bottom of both pairs of shoes. Is this normal? Or a sign of rushed manufacturing defect? Do better!
