I had high hopes for my first pair of Hoka's. The ball of my foot is sore and they're not as "cushy" as I was led to believe.

It's the noisiest shoe I've ever owned! It's like I have a pair of cheap flip flops on my feet. It's embarrassing.

So in reading some of the other reviews I will agree when you walk on a hard service the tread will squeak on the floor which is annoying. That is my only critique of the shoe. The Gore-Tex is excellent when dealing with rain and I do a lot of trail walking so there's no squeaking when you're using the shoe for what it was designed for trail. These are extremely comfortable and I like them so much that I've actually purchased the same pair twice. I heard that transport was a hoka prototype they can tested to see how much demand they get for it hopefully they will continue with this model.

Love these shoes. I've been through three pairs of Asolo Tahoe gortex hiking shoes over the last few years, which I loved for their durability, waterproofing, and good looks. The HOKA Transport GTX has them beat hands down because it has the same features AND it is so comfortable!

We live on a gravel road in the country. These shoes have been the perfect walking shoes going up and down the back roads of Missouri. They have survived daily walks this winter in the mud/yuck.

Very pleased I picked these! Comfortable fit, cool feel, easy to put on and take off. Look great. While these are probably awesome for hiking, these are every day wears for me.

I use the (Black/Gray) Machs and Gray Men's GTX for business casual attire. Look great with sport coats and extremely comfortable during long conferences. Can also use them for workouts during business travel.

Waterproof, comfortable, sturdy. Absolute favorite shoes.

Great shoes for work. I spend most of the day on my feet as a correctional officer.

All you need is add half an inch to your size and you're good to go. Not bulky looking and aesthetically appealing.

Badly designed shoes in terms of noise. When new, the top toe cover area made a clicking noise with each step as the surface buckled up and down. That persisted for the first 3-4 months. It finally went quite as they wore in but then at 7-8 months they started squeaking somewhere in the soles, loudly, with each step, both feet. With any moisture it got even worse. At 10 months I couldn't take it any longer, went to a shoe store to buy a quiet pair of shoes and threw these pair promptly in the trash. Save your money.

Betware of the squeek mentioned by the the other reviews, it took a week to develope. I thought those folks were just complainers. I can't wear these in public now. They squeak so loud I feel like a clown. Baby power worked the first few times and now does nothing. Solid shoe aside from that but nothing makes up for squeak. Also the 12.5 feels a bit bigger than my pair of 12.5 Bondi's

So comfortable, fit like a glove! I use these shoes as my yard shoes and they're perfect for that purpose!! They are waterproof and my feet stay dry when the yard is wet. The traction is outstanding! Even after a couple of hours of yard work my feet feel great!

Please keep this shie around and dont replace it entirely with the transport 2. I wear the wide widths and I hope you'll come out with more of them in the regular transport as well

I have a couple of pairs of the Transport GTX and have enjoyed them. Comfortable and stylish for an athletic shoe.

Always Perfect: I walk 5 miles 3 days a week and HOKAs are my only walking shoes. This is pair #3! I love them. Good fit and support!
