I love my shoes! They feel very sturdy, yet not heavy! I walk with more confidence because of their great soleL

I use the sneakers to run errands, do my knee exercises, for around the house, everywhere. The problem
is pulling up and down on the strings to loosen the shoes enough to get them on and off more easily.

These were very wide and loose. Not cushioned and the arch was too high for me. Returned.

I love my Hoka Hopara 2s, and I love the color! If more colors would go on sale, I'd buy another pair or two!

Shoe was not what I expected. I have another pair which I really like. The pair I just received was nothing like my pair. I looked further into the shoe site and found the pair that I have. The pair I ordered seemed to be a more inexpensive shoe.

I am new to Hoka except for a pair of recovery sandals I wear indoors and I DO love them! They take the place of going barefoot (forbidden by my podiatrist!) and my feet feel better.
I resisted getting regular Hoka shoes, also recommended by podiatrist, as I just don't like lacing up all the time and have never worn "tennis shoes" except for on the courts. I liked the idea of a sandal like this Hopara and was pleasantly surprised when I tried them on in the store. I don't do any hiking or off-road walking but these do the job on my regular walks. I'm getting more used to the adjustment of the heel strap, and trying to forget the ease of just slipping into my Skechers in seconds. I will have to keep my big toenail shorter than usual, as there seems to be some rubbing there, and side fit is not as snug as I am used to. But they ARE extremely comfortable while walking and I do not regret the purchase!

I enjoyed the shoe and found it comfortable, but was unable to really test it out because the velcro strap came unstitched when removing the shoe the first time. I return the shoe and am now trying out the women's transport.

I bought two pair of these, one for me and one for my daughter before our trip to Costa Rica. It was between these and Keen water/trail sandals. I decided to try these. Our main purpose for them was to be able to go tubing and hiking in the rainforest without switching shoes. They did not disappoint. They were comfortable even when wet, provided great traction on the rocks, and protected our feet from the rocks when going through the rapids. They fit true to size.
The reasons I did not give them five stars: I didn't feel like they dried any faster then regular lightweight shoes and we both got a couple raw spots on our feet when we walked/jogged on the beach. Now to be fair, I think the sand getting into the shoes and being wet is what caused the raw spots; so next time we use them for the beach, we are going to try wearing some water socks with them.
I'd buy them again. I think they are great for hiking in damp conditions and they are probably going to be good lake/boat shoes.

I have another Hoka shoe like this that I have been wearing for my walking shoe. I got this Hopara 2 because of the neural color. The mesh lining is a plus because sometimes scree gets in my other pair. I like that the back strap is adjustable. Both have good arch support and are very comfortable. It's going to be my almost exclusive shoe for my upcoming Danube River cruise. Just an additional dressier sandal for nightlife.

At first these shoes were nice, I owned two pairs of the original Hopara prior and loved them. I was excited to try these new ones. However, these shoes quite literally fell apart in 3 months. I do use them daily for work. The original two pairs I had held up for over a year each so I am very dissapointed with the Hopara 2. I love Hoka and most of their products but these need a lot of work.

I bought these expecting to love them as I have 6 pairs of Hokas (Bondi 8, Arahi 6, Speedgoat 5) and love them... Especially after a calcaneal fracture last December 1, wearing a pair that my Ortho thinks saved me from shattering my leg. #1 issue... I wrote to Hoka abd sadly never heard anything back. Very disappointed.
Then I bought these sandals at a small independent shoe store I loved, but before I could really decide if I loved them, he decided to retire and close the store. When I did start to wear them, they are HUGE. I bought my 9.5... my foot swims in these. I could never wear them because after my tripping accident I am very leery of how shoes fit. My foot easily goes back and forth and they make me afraid I will trip and fall again. I might be ok with a thick ped on, but what's the purpose of being able to get them wet if I need a sock??? So they did but go to Aruba, and even tho I kept trying them, I am super disappointed and they are pretty expensive to be stuck with and sitting in my closet. I am sad and furious...
I did get my husband a pair too and he's fine with them. I have "introduced" and gotten 6-8 people wearing Hokas. I am a huge fan, but these have left a butter taste in my mouth
Btw, how about you update your online quiz to determine the best models, because nothing new is in the mix.
I'd love to be contacted...

I suffer with plantar fasciitis and at times when am on my feet for several hours I am in a lot of pain the rest of the day. Since I began wearing these Hopara's my feet have stopped hurting at all.

Have to return. I usually wear an 8.5 but my toes hit the hard front. Would have been ok in a 9.5.

My first pair of HOKA for XCARET parks. Perfect for water and hiking activities. Absolutely comfort 10/10. Wasn't sure about sizing and the sizing chart was of great help. If you're looking for vacation shoes, look no more. Even cutter in person.

Great product for us wide feet (bunion) girlies. The only complaint I have is that tiny rocks could get in through the back Velcro area, but it was nice to be able to adjust the back so a catch 22 I guess.

I have many pairs of HOKA shoes, and most are beyond comfortable for my 'many problemed' feet. I have severe arthritis in my big toe and heel spurs so finding a good shoe is important for my daily walks. These fit as expected, maybe a bit wide as compared to the Clifton 9 (my favorite). The problem is with how they are 'laced' with the NON stretchy bungee type cord. This cord, when your feet swell, cuts into your foot and makes for a long walk home. I've tried them several times and always come back and change my shoe. It's been way too long to return them so they are going in the give away bin. So sad they didn't work out for my feet.
