Very comfy with good true to size fit. Getting compliments on the lilac color

These are my first pair of Hoka shoes, and the shoes are a disappointment. Fit-wise, they are typical for the size. This style is a breathable mesh with an open heel and a strap, indicating more of a summer use. I just find the sole and mesh uncomfortable to wear without socks- a sort of abrasive feeling all around the foot. The foot bed is not very soft, but the support is adequate. There is zero feeling of walking in a cloud or a soft cushioned support. They are heavier than I expected as well. For the price point (even on clearance) this shoe is absolutely not worth it. I would not buy them again, but not so bad that I want to bother with returning them.

I love how comfortable these sandals are once I get them on. The heal is not a step in, you do need to hold onto the loop to get it over the heal. But once the shoes are on they are very comfortable. After a while my feet get hot and a little sweaty, so I wear them with a low thin sock.

Love the flexibility and waterproof design. Great for hikes that involve water. These will also be great for kayaking.

These feel and look very cool. I see why they don't come in wide, they are the same as wide.

Returned these after receiving them, I have a normal to narrow foot and while the length was right, I was swimming in how wide the shoe was, and no way to adjust. Sure wish Hoka had an option for a narrow sandal. I love the running shoes but the sandals have no narrow option

Purchased Hopara 2 from Zappo’s. I went with size 8 which is what I wear in Hoka closed shoes. It was too big especially since I don’t intend to wear socks with this shoe. I re-ordered the shoe directly from Hoka since Zappo’s didn’t have a 7.5. Sized down to 7.5 and it’s a much better fit. Comfortable walking shoe. Will be great for warm days. Took away a star for style because it’s so chunky looking. But that’s the Hoka look. So it’s a comfort over style thing.
I also tried the unisex Hopara. A much different shoe. Didn’t care for it. It felt heavier and the stiffer collar hit my ankle bone left foot causing pain.
Also want to say that I like shopping from Zappo’s but prefer buying first time Hokas directly from Hoka. They allow you to actually walk or run in their shoes for 60 days. You can return them for a full refund if they don’t work out for you. Zappos only accepts unused returns. I shop Zappos for second pair shoes at better pricing.

I really wanted to love this shoe. I wanted to wear it crossing some water areas and the cushioning feels great but the toe box is just huge and my feet move around way too much in it. If I put socks on and tighten the strap at the back it would work, but the whole point is not to have to have socks. I do like the foot bed and feel like the arch support is good.

These shoes are so great in their actual construction. I am re-ordering for a half size larger. I usually wear a size 8.5-9 but the 8.5 runs a little too close to my toes in front. The side strap near my heel rubs the side of my foot a bit but they do feel pretty durable.

The perfect fit and color to replace both my pink velvet creepers and my old Keen water shoes.
The color is pinky-orange, and the HOKA quality is there.
I'd also recommend:
Keen, Fitflop, Skechers, Timberland, Duluth

They are comfortable, very good for long walks, and beautiful
Usually I buy size 9 , but Hopara 2 is running a little larger and I purchased 8.5
Good choice

I've had these for about 6 months and they're holding up well. Very comfortable walking shoes. Dries quickly when they get wet. Came back to buy another pair.

My husband and I each bought a pair for South America trip . Turned out it was all we wore - climbed mountains, trekked around city, wet landings in Galapagos. With or without socks . Only wish the women's colors were better - I got the green (a little too neon ). The baby blue and orange sherbet are equally yuck . I wish I got the black . Please make more attractive colors that go with normal street clothes.

The hoka hopara 2 was recommended by my podiatrist. I used to walk on a beach barefoot nearly daily, but my podiatrist said no more barefoot.
The hoka hopara 2 is a bulky looking hiking sandal. It felt a little loose in the toe box, and maybe a little big overall. The back heel strap is Velcro so I was hoping that snugging it in might be the answer, but sadly the strap was attached to the shoe poorly and the threads just unraveled when I tried to tighten the heel strap. so I was unable to try them out and had to return.
