Ordered a wide which normally fits in all shoes. Toe box is very narrow.

Loved the look of shoe. Didn't feel amazing on my feet, but still trying to break them in. Almost feel like the bottom of my feet rub/burn after I'm in them awhile. Cushion feels really good.

I've had quite a few foot and knee issues over the years, have tried Asics and other styles/brands and the Gel-Nimbus is my all time favorite. I run about 4 to 5 times a week and the new styling with the extra cushion is a definite plus to run on. The style however is clunky and looks more like a Hooka or Sketchers look alike. They are not attractive from the side or top and I would never wear them for anything besides running. The new lacing tabs make loosening the laces difficult and the tab on the tongue is scratchy on the front of your leg/foot while running. I eventually just cut it off. I'm searching on-line to purchase previous versions of this shoe.

These shoes look ridiculously massive. I have size 11 feet and these shoes make me look like I’m wearing a 15. I just can’t wear them because I’m already too self conscious of my big feet. Why did ASICS do this to my beloved Nimbus!

These are my 3rd pair of gel nimbus but these are not like the others they hurt back of my feet Achilles tendon. They are not soft and cloudy as the others are. Unfortunately I am going to return them to store today. I don't know why they are changing them I can feel with changing their design they are changing the clouds softness and comfort. Also ASICS colors is getting boring. If they follow Hoka's colors and use old ASICS gel nimbus I think their customers will be happier.

I have ran in the nimbus for the past 15+ years and this is the second year in a row that the Nimbus has been a huge disappointment. Why change the #1 selling neutral running shoe that Asics makes? Toe box is way too big (although the 26 is a little smaller than the 25), There is not enough motion control now that they have done away with the trussic system and IGS. The back of the heel is way too high and rubs on my Achilles tendon. The 8mm drop is awful. The Nimbus had a 13mm drop (at least in the woman's version) for 24 years. If you want to create a new shoe that is comparable to the Nova Blast and the Hoka, please do, but please bring back the traditional styling of the Nimbus for those of us that have always been a loyal customer.

I've worn ASICS for over 10 years for running. This pair, although comfortable in the footbed, the heel fabric comes up too high and rubs the back of my heel causing blisters.

I have multiple pairs of these going back to versions in the teens and when the came in narrow. While I like the loop at the heel, the reflective strip digs into the back of my ankle. Returning these and will be in search of a replacement.

The right shoe felt incredible - a good amount of cushioning, not too much correction (a neutral trainer with removable insoles), nice forward motion. Oddly, the left shoe felt compressed, as if the foam or cushioning was much less. It makes me question the build and materials quality, and feels like a much cheaper shoe than Brooks or Hokas. I've worn Asics in the past and stopped wearing them due to lack of support and overall cheapness of the materials. I'm looking for a cushioned (but not overly so) trainer with a low-ish drop so I thought I'd give the brand another try. The tongue is very thin, too, which I'm on the fence about since I like a more padded tongue. I'm ordering another pair of these in the hopes that the shoes aren't defective because they are quite comfortable overall.

So disappointed in the 26 version of the Cloud Nimbus. It’s definitely not a cushy as the 25 and the forefoot feels stiff and narrow compared to the 25. I have three pairs of the 25 and have loved them all. I hate that they changed it.

Great looking and nicely cushioned. My husband loves his, bit unfortunately the wide was not wide enough for me. Had to return them. The return process was seamless and easy.
I'd also recommend:

I bought these shoes after being fitted at Fleet Feet in February. At first, they seemed great. Despite being on the heavier side, they were very comfortable, and felt like they had decent spring. I wore them for part of my half marathon training and for the race itself. Unfortunately, once I hit about 120 miles of wear, they started giving me blisters. It seems that the cushion in the back of the heal has worn so much that it's left the fabric loose, which is what's causing the blisters. I normally get at least 250 miles out of my shoes before I even think about a new pair but already had to buy replacements. I'm very disappointed in the durability. This was my first experience with ASICS running shoes and makes me very hesitant to try the brand again.

These fit bigger than my other gel nimbus and are no where near as comfortable. I also tried the 25's and they were not comfortable either. I'm not sure why they would change the structure or inner workings of this shoe but please go back to previous versions like the 23's because the gel nimbus are the only shoes I can wear and I'm on my feet all day.

I have been wearing gel Nimbus for years. I absolutely love the 25, but I'm not pleased with the 26. It has a much firmer feeling sole that is not near as cushioning as the 25. ASICS , why did you change such a great shoe?! Please go back to the old 25 design, although I do appreciate more traction on the tread that the 26 has. I am returning the 26 and going back to the 25 and I hope to goodness you continue making it, it is the best cushioning shoe ever !!

These don't have as much bounce as expected and the fabric on top rubs a lot on my toes which has caused blisters. It didn't happen at first and since I no longer have the box I can't return but I would've if it were possible.

I bought these with high hopes after I had to return the 24s because the tongue was irritating my ankle. Big improvement on the tongue's cushioning (as advertised), but now I'm experiencing chafing /blistering on my heel that is intolerableeven with high socks. The back of the shoe goes too high. I've never experienced such a hard break-in period with Asics. I'm 33 years old and have been wearing the gel nimbus model since freshman year of high school. The 24 model and up have been giving me problems. Please bring back the magic that was the gel nimbus 23! I've had to buy them on second party websites and there are not a lot of 23s left. I might just need to try another model sneaker from ASICS or switch to a new brand altogether. The shoe has nice cushioning but I can't pay attention to the positives if my heel is getting ripped up.

Huge fan of the Nimbus 25 so was looking forward to trying the 26s. Not a fan, I ended up sending them back and buying another pair of 25s. I didnt feel like the cushioning was the same and i honestly found that i was starting to get a shin splint on one leg. I hate when shoes get upgrades, sometimes if it's not broke, dont fix it. I wore the 25s for both of my marathons, including the one i BQ'd in and LOVED them.

These are relatively comfortable, but I couldn't get beyond the ugly. I miss the look of the Gel-Nimbus 24 and earlier. The white platform shoe look that now seems to be the in thing just doesn't do it for me.

I have bought several ASICS GEL-Nimbus sneakers over the years from Zappos and I wanted to replace my ASICS GEL- Nimbus 23. The Nimbus 26 has a very different design and is not as cushy as all my ones were. The heel is higher and the toe is much more tipped up so that I rock in them. I'm not a runner, so these are not for me.
I'd also recommend:
I wish I knew. I tried Brooks Adrenaline, but they weren't as cushy as my old ASICS.

This new Gel-Nimbus 26 is a totally different shoe than the 25. It is wider, higher, different sole and does not fit my foot like the 25. I will be returning it. I have a narrow foot and this new shoe is larger, making it more difficult for me to run, walk. I feel like the shoe is too big. It is comfortable when on (the footbed is nice). I will order the 25 again.

I've never had ASICS literally fall apart, these did. I've been a loyal consumer of this brand for 15 years and this was my first bad experience.
