Comfortable and fit like a glove. I've been wearing Merrells for years and have not found anything that compares for my feet.

I just ordered my third pair. I play disc golf in some very rugged terrain. My first pair lasted 8 years. I noticed yesterday that the sole was coming off of them. I have arthritis in my feet and these boots are the only thing I can wear comfortably. I highly recommend them.

I bought a pair for each member of my family traveling to Norway on a winter vacation that included lots of walking and outdoor activities in the Arctic Circle. No break in period needed for any of us. No blisters, no wet feet, no cold feet, and great traction and stability. We were extremely happy with the purchase and would highly recommend these boots!

I confess to not having worn these much yet- only around the block- but they are perfect so far! Absolutely fit me. I got, as other reviewers advised, the size I usually take, and in wide to accommodate bunions and a couple of hammer toes. SO light, So comfortable! I have high hopes they will be just what I need for a short hiking trip in Nepal. Inserts are removable for other options to be used. Good support in structure of shoe.

I've been wearing Merrell, Columbia and some else hiking shoes for 8? years. I am a nurse and use them for work and would not change that until I tried on the Moab 3 hiking boots. When I put them on at the store I thought "Wow, these feel great! I bought them to actually hike and thought I should break them in before hiking. So, I've been wearing them to work and everywhere. They didn't actually need to be broken in after all because they feel like they were made for MY feet. They feel just as comfortable after a 12 or 16 hour shift as when I put them on in the morning. Sometimes I think about how good they feel that I need to tell others how wonderful they are. People say, "well that's great Mary. I'm glad you like them" . My feet are 62 years old and I've been through a lot with them. Some wicked plantar fasciitis. They feel so well supported that I don't notice any support I just feel nothing but pleasure.

I love, love, love these! I feel very stable and secure with these as a foundation. I am 68 y.o.and have problems with very severe arthritis, lower back and hip pain. I can be on my feet working all day in these much more comfortably than in anything else I have worn. They are also very warm outside in the cold weather.

As usual I put the shoes on and they are a perfect fit. Go out for my first hike - it had just snowed 30cm: the sole gripped, I landed in a puddle twice and my feet stayed dry and warm. Very nice colour.

Ready to use right out of the box. No need to break in. Hiked 6 days in the Rockies. No blisters/raw spots. Did not feel heavy or hot. Great grip on slippery rocks or on gravel trails.

First time wearing Merrell and after hiking 40+ miles at Glacier National Park and living in the Appalachian Mountain range these boots held up great! From rocky trails to pretty much 3 inches of mud they are still going strong. My feet stay dry.

I've been wearing Moabs for years and they have taken me hiking in many parts of the world.. They are comfortable and reliable, and keep my feet dry in rain, mud, and during water crossings. The sole is grippy, giving me confidence on rocks, gravel, and other slippery spots. A new pair doesn't even need to be broken in. I just put them on and go!

I love these boots. They're comfortable and require no break in time. I like the ankle height for extra support on rough terrain. These are my second pair after hiking hundreds of miles in my first and I'm equally pleased. Have only used once in the pouring rain and my feet were dry. I am primarily a day hiker and avg 6-12 miles/day

Took my Merrells to Costa Rica. Hiking up waterfalls, and rapelling down waterfalls, mountains, and thru rainforests. On canopy tours and up Monte Sky.

First hike in these was to Sandia Mtn Peak to the Kiwinas cabin. At first it feels like a chunk of rubber beneath the heel, then you feel the stability. Great on the loose rock, bedrock, and rock scrambling of the Mountain.

These are the most comfortable hiking boots I have ever owned! They didn't need to be broken in, they're lightweight, and give me great support. I have worn them hiking in Washington State, New York, PA, NJ, and VA.

These are the third pair I've owned. I get a new pair about every 2-3 years because I wear them daily. I'm out in the field with dogs and over all sorts of terrain and they keep me going. Found out that I really needed a size 6 instead of a 7. Got measured wrong and so the first 2 pairs I had to add an orthotic. They still worked but the 6s are SO much better. I'm over 70 and still going strong with the help of Merrell. They are indestructible.

At first these were ok as they were new. After a few long hikes they have softened up and I really like them. Tested the gortex walking thru streams and was impressed that my feet stayed dry. That was a big win for me.
