Best fit and comfort ever. I have super sensitive feet and a very bad back so it's tough to find a comfortable shoe. Merrell Moab have become my favorite, wear everywhere, do anything shoe. The Moab 3's are the best, most comfortable fit yet! The toebox is as comfy as any shoe I have worn.

It was great for my first 12 mile hike! Very comfortable and saved me from possible ankle injuries!

Purchased these and used them for the first time for exploring Carlsbad Caverns in NM and couldn't be happier! Hiked over 6 miles in the caverns that day and absolutely no blisters or sore areas on my feet or ankles whatsoever! This is huge for me especially with new bootsneeded no breaking in time! Very happy and pleased with my purchaseperformed awesomely! It was cool in the caverns (50's) but my feet stayed warm without sweatingmy feet and ankles were not even feeling tired at the end of the day! Thank you Merrell for creating a boot that is comfortable, tough & cool to look at too! Performance is key but I wanted a boot that was stylish as well and I think you achieved that! I purchased the red, tan & black color! Love them!

Have had many pairs of Merrill's over the years. They have been to 10 USA states in multiple terrains. Always reliable. Love the mid high Moab's best. Also to South America and Europe. Sorry I did not have them for the 40 other states visited.

This rugged hiking shoe has great ankle support and keeps my feet dry during wet seasons.

Toes slam into the front while going down any decline and stairs. Felt great first time wearing, next two times dealing with this problem.

I got these boots as a Christmas gift. It's been cold, so I have only taken them out twice since then. They're already coming apart at the sole, and today both laces finally snapped in half (which made the hike back to my car rather miserable). I've never had an issue with Merrell before, and I've been buying hiking boots from them for over a decade now. But these are garbage. I'm extremely upset that my siblings paid so much for these. They've seen maybe 10 miles total and are in bad shape. I've done nothing different from how I normally hike. I've had Merrell boots go hundreds of miles before showing signs of wear. Not sure if the company has gone downhill or I just got a crappy pair, but it's bad enough that I'm considering switching to a different company for hiking boots. For comparison, my last boots lasted me from 2016 until fall 2022, when the sole started to give way, and I was hiking at least 5 miles a week (probably averaging closer to 8 miles a week) during those years. Only rating 2 stars because they are more comfortable than previous Merrell boots I've had. Just sucks that they haven't held up as long.

The hikers are causing a rub on my right ankle. I have put on a large piece of mole skin on my ankle and I am hoping that it gets better.

I have worn Moab Mids for something like 15 years, this was my 4th pair. I have loved these boots for their comfort and fit right out of the box, they have never caused blisters or hotspots, they were supportive and rugged but also lightweight, my absolute favorite boot. The design, however, seems to have changed and not for the better. I immediately noticed the new boots had a different shape than my old pair, but didn't really think much of it. Unfortunately within just the first few steps of my hike I noticed an uncomfortable rubbing on the back of my ankles. After less than a mile a large blister had developed in the back of my right ankle and a smaller one was forming on the left. There is a very stiff, thick seam running on the inside of the ankle about 2 cm from the top of the boot which is what is causing the issue. I was able to finish my hike after applying bandaids and moleskin and I was hoping the seam would soften but it really hasn't done so and it started rubbing on my ankle bones as well. It took me years to find boots that didn't cause issues and now I'm going to have to go back to square one to find new boots, which is very frustrating, especially after the amount I spent on this new pair.

Didn't fit. Bought the size I have in the past (also moab) and these were too short and too big in the shoe at the same time. She other ones I bought (regular shoe hight) fit fine.

These came in yesterday and I tried them out today. It was pouring rain. They were not waterproof at all. My feet were soaked all day. It was miserable. I have other Moabs, these must have been defective because my other boots were great. I am so bummed because they look great. I actually had water inside my boots not damp but water all by my toes.
