Overall they're comfortable, but I've only had these shoes for a month and I'm already seeing tears at the top of the shoe. I don't do much activity in the shoes!

These were not comfortable for me. I have issues with my Achilles and they rubbed against my ankle and heel. Sent back and ordered my Ghost 16 which I love.

Brooks is my go-to brand for walking, working out, etc. I was so disappointed when these Glycerins didn't fit correctly. The part of the shoe beneath the ankle bone was too high, and I knew I'd get blisters if I wore the shoes for any length of time. Returning and trying another model that will not be on sale.

Disappointed. I tried this shoe on twice before purchasing it. The shoes I tried on in a store had a lot more padding along the shoe. I tried on a 10.5 and an 11, each twice. The sizing really felt like it varied and I ended up getting the 11 because the last fitting the 10.5 seemed small and I was going to have to order online. The first 10.5 seemed fine that I tried on in early December. With the high level of variation between each fitting and the shoe that came directly from Brooks, I am supposing these are now mass produced shoes with little to no technology in them anymore. I wore the shoes in the house I thought maye they were ok. so I wore them outside. It feels like a mediocre shoe compared to what I had tried in the stores and what models I wore previously.

I own and love Brooks Glycerin GTS 20. I was looking forward to a new pair with the same fit. These sneakers resemble my last pair in style but are made of much more rigid material. They do not have a cushiony feel, very stiff and uncomfortable.

Ordered the same exact shoe (Glycerin GTS 21) in the same exact size (8 Wide(D)) as I purchased about a year ago, and they were more than a quarter inch more narrow. I'm a distance runner, so that difference in width could cause a whole slew of foot injuries. If it had been an updated version of the shoe, I might have understood, but it's the same exact one. It seems like they're trying to deceptively reduce the amount of material going into each shoe. The only other explanation I can think of is that the pair I received was actually standard width and was mislabeled. Either way, I can't wear these shoes.

Lots of cushioning on the heel which is nice, however I get arch pain in these that I didn't deal with in the adrenalin gts. My biggest issue with these is that there's a piece of plastic that lines the toe bed and the first time I squatted down, the plastic creased and now constantly touches my big toe.

Really disappointed with these shoes. I absolutely love the Brooks Glycerin GTS 20 -- perfect for my wide feet, and just enough cushioning. However, these shoes have a more narrow toe box, so my Morton's neuroma gives me pain when I run. Even walking is uncomfortable, no matter how much I unlace them. And weirdly enough, they seem to have more cushioning than my previous shoes, yet I feel the road even harder under my feet. Wish I could return them. Do not buy these if you have wide feet.

I've had Glycerin 19 & 20. I will have to return the 21's I just purchased. The heel area is not low enough now and my heel sits up high and rubs on the heel collar. I am so bummed.

I wish they didn't redesign the Glycerin 20. The 21 is a nice shoe but, it rubs just below the big toe. I stopped wearing them and went back to my old 20. I run and wear these for tennis. I pulled the 21s out again to wear running and ended up with a blister in that spot. I wish I could find the 20's in my size but, they are now discontinued.

After developing metatarsalgia and with a history of plantar fasciitis I hoped to find good arch support and soft cushioning in this shoe. I didn't notice either, but I did notice the hard edge rubbing against the outside of my foot. I bought 3 different Brooks styles after reading reviews mentioning arch support and cushioning but I felt none of that in any of the 3, so I won't be trying more Brooks, although the fit was comfortable.

I have been an avid Brooks wearer since 2017, (an outdoor runner) but this sneaker was the worst purchase. The toe box collapses in when walking or running. I have had these for a year now and I thought that more use it would fix itself but it hasn't. I am sad that I wasted money on these when I could have gotten a pair that I can use. I have never had a problem with all of the other Brooks sneakers that I have owned, except for these. They just aren't made as good as they used to be.

The Glycerin GTS was my favorite shoe-the one that totally prevented my plantar fasciitis-until the 21. Something about the sole is just like a Hoka in this new iteration which also triggers PF for me. So disappointed to go back to the drawing board.

Man! At first these sneakers were super comfortable. I usually wear zero drop shoes but I think there is a reason most shoes have a heel drop. I was like hearing angels sing when I walked my dog. Unfortunately that lasted for about two walks. Now at the top of my foot above the toe there is something digging in. I think it's the way the tounge is or something. On top of that there is something about the guide rail that seems to kind of bother my arches. Actually the last time I walked my dog I almost started limping home. I have to much integrity to return them since I wore them on walks but I wish I could. They really kind of suck. On the good side the cushioning is top notch and they are true to size.

Glycerins have been the most cushioned style of Brooks for years. However, this one wasn’t cushiony at all and was crazy wide for Medium. Super disappointed with what Brooks did with the Glycerin GTS 21. I should have been able to put them on right out of the box and love the fit and feel. This has never happened to me before with a Brooks shoe.

I love Brooks adrenaline shoes but wanted a little more cushion so I tried these and OMG they killed me foot up by the toes, where the shoe laces begin. Indeed it WAS the stitching, the way it was sewn so loosening the laces didn't help. After the 3rd day of wearing them I got a bruise and it hurt so much I returned them. I tried going to Brooks to tell them but it felt like it wasn't much of a concern to them. So IDK if my complaint and concern went to the proper people or not. Ps I do not have a wide ball of foot area (I have narrow width size 6 feet).

I wanted to love these shoes, and the first 2 runs actually went ok. But by the 3rd run, I realized I was developing pain on the top of my foot. Run 4 caused bruising and injury. I played with the laces and made them as loose as the shoe would allow, in hopes that would help, but the pain was awful. Turns out it's the stitching where the laces begin, just above the toes area. I compared these to the previous 2 models I still own, and even a pair of the adrenalines, and the stitching is VERY different in this area. While the rest of the shoe felt fine, the stitching at the laces/toes resulted in bruising and an injury that will likely require me to take time off to recover. I've been a loyal brooks customer for over 15 years and I still swear by the Trance. I don't understand why companies discontinue solid models like that. Everyone I know has left brooks shoes for other brands because their quality has gone downhill over the years - leading to more and more injuries. Sometimes they get it right and they come out with a really good model, and then they mess it up again with the next one. I'm sad that I have to look elsewhere. Really, really sad.

The shoes look nice but are nothing like the 20s which are my favorite. The stitching is too tight at the toe box where the lace starts and pushes again my feet causing pain. I never had that with the 20s. I wish they would stop trying to fix what isn't broken. Or at least continue to manufacture the older shoes. Not sure what I am supposed to run in now.

I purchased the GTS 21 on recommendation from a friend who is on her feet a lot for work. I purchased them because I thought the thick cushion would be helpful in minimizing stress while on my feet. I've had the Brooks shoes shoes for a few months and never recognized how sore my feet felt after a day at work while wearing them, And truth be told I didn't figure it out until this past weekend- The shoes by all account have a thick sole and appear to give needed cushion to those who are on their feet a lot or who simply walk a lot. But I wore the Brooks GTS 21 shoes on Sunday and was on my feet off an on the entire day as we had company over and we were building a gazebo. By evening my feet were in so much pain that I couldn't wait to take them off . Today I wore my ASICS shoes to work instead and had them on the entire day into the late evening. I came home and did not have any foot pain. Kind of a shocking revelation as I think back over the past month wearing my Brooks shoes- I've had knee pain and sore feet multiple times and never put the occurrences together. Sadly these shoes are not for me. :-(

Have worn Ariels for years, decided to go with the Glycerin because it seemed more cushiony. BAD MISTAKE. Obviously, I need the GuideRails the Ariels have. The balls of my feet were extremely sore. However, this is why I order from Brooks. I sent the Glycerins back after a couple of days, and ordered the Ariels.

They're OK for short walks. I wore them to Universal Studios in Florida. By the second day, my feet were killing me. My husband also has a pair and his feet were hurting him too.

My feet still hurt after wearing these shoes. I would not recommend. I'm on my feet all day long in the pharmacy. My feet were aching after. I ended up getting another brand with max cushion and they work wonders
