Fit and size much like other Brooke's shoes. I have been wearing Brooke's and specifically Gycerine for several years. This pair was ok for the first few weeks but then the back part started to rub and push in on the back of my ankle. This rarely ever happens to me. If you have a problems with shoes rubbing the back of your ankle, you might want to look elsewhere.

I have a wide foot and the Glycerin provides a wide option. However, the shoe is not as comfortable as my Hokas. I will keep these for leisurewear, but Hokas are my favorite for exercise.

I have always bought Glycerin GTS since the Transcend was discontinued. This one is too short. Sending it back.;

These were a bit too narrow in the toe box and I didn’t love the overall shape of the shoe. So I returned them for the new model.

I'm still in the breaking in process and feel they are a little wide. It seems like the right shoe is wider in the heel than the left. Otherwise, I like them. I would like to be added to your over 70 group to demo the shoes and give reviews if you can. And would like to be on the list for complimentary samples if you can. Brooks are the only tennis shoes I now wear. Thank you.

I have heel spurs and I own a pair of Ghost Max shoes that I love. These went on sale and had great reviews. After doing some reading, and checking out the specs, it all looked like they'd be great for daily walking, and I'd save some money. Unfortunately that's not the case. If you have feet issues, stick to what's comfortable.

Unfortunately, for me, these felt like running in army boots. Very stiff and difficult to get on and off. I didn't feel the cushioning. Positives are roomy toebox and great traction. I loved my G20 but the 21 was causing pain. Brooks made the return process easy. I bought the new G22, and I'm back in heaven.

I have size 11 narrow feet, and the toe box on this Glycerin GTS 21 style is too wide for me. The shoe is long enough, but barely. I also think there is less arch support than in the 20s (but I have flat feet so I may notice this feature more than other people). I liked the Glyercin GTS 20 style better than this updated version. I really don't know why the shoe manufacturers have to keep changing the styles for the worse.

Disappointed that these didn't fit. Purchased the same size as the Ghost 12 and Ghost 14 but toe was right at end. Can't see to find another Brooks shoe that fits.

I would suggest a 1/2 size up if you purchase this shoe. They had excellent cushioning on the heel and toe of foot but just not enough arch support for my high arches. Also, they were a bit too spongy to wear for treadmill walking. Customer service was outstanding though.

I really want to love my Brooks running shoes. I have purchased many different brand names and different styles of Brooks. Coming from a company that specializes in running shoes, I had high hopes. Unfortunately, my feet still hurt after running and walking less than 20 miles in two weeks. Most were indoors. The arch support isn't there and the forefoot is lacking in cushion and support. I have a normal arch but they do have a selection of wide width. I am of normal height and weight. They are quick with purchase and delivery. They are good for in gym training. There is another brand I like better for running but their shoes are always so tight and narrow.

My foot is a size 9 wide and is kind of a thick, substantial foot. I tried this shoe in a size 9.5 wide. I didn't like it. It looks good, but the fit felt kind of tight. I also felt like the shoe was so lightweight, it almost seemed flimsy. This just didn't work for me.

This is the second pair of Glycerins I've had and unfortunately, I had to return them. They were so tight across the top of my foot, I couldn't wear them for more than a mile. Re-lacing did nothing to help with the pain and the bruising.

I'm giving three only because of my issues. I have plantars fasciitis & with these shoes my feet were killing me after wearing for just one day. I think these would be wonderful shoes if you did not have issues with your feet as they are light and comfy. Just not enough cushion for me

I usually like Brooks shoes, but these were narrower than others I have purchased, even though they were supposed to be wide. They were also tight in the heel and just overall not as comfortable as I would expect. I am returning them.

Purchased the Glycerin 20 and absolutely loved them. Time for new shoes came so of course I purchased these. I was disappointed with them. They weren't as soft and the top portion of the toe folds in and rubs against the side of my nail bed to the point it's unbearable. Had a replacement pair sent twice and the same exact thing each time. Ended up swapping them for the Ghost Max.

First of all I am not a runner but I walk a lot. I have been wearing Brooks exclusively the last 5 years replacing other brands. I was quite happy with comfort of feet and legs. Unfortunately the last two pairs I bought recently are not giving me the same results. I start to walk pretty comfortably but then by the end of the day I'm experiencing sore feet and cramping legs. I think that added thickness is causing the discomfort. So sad I didn't get previous results.

I liked the color & weight of the shoe. However, after only a 5 mile road walk my toes were chafed from rubbing on both the outside & inside of the shoe. I also noticed that the side of the toe box was bending. I have like wearing the Glycerin GTS 20's for the wide toe box & haven't had any issues with either chafing nor being to wide. My feet hurt afterwards & I haven't had that experience with the other shoes. I only wore them one time & wish they would've fit.

It's been a few years since I've worn Brooks so I ordered this pair in anticipation of my other running shoes falling apart. They recently did and my first run in these created a few aches but was overall ok. I didn't have any foot or joint pain following the run either. My only concern is how odd the lip is on this shoe. I don't know what it is about it, but it hurts. It's not noticeable when running so much but is very noticeable when walking. I've tried loosening the laces, but that just compromises the stability of the exercise, and doesn't actually make it more bearable. It's just a bulky uncomfortable lip and I hope over time it will go away.

The arch on these was too close to my heel. Other than that they were extremely comfortable.

Comfortable but not for me. I have worn adrenalines the last few years but was looking for something with a little more cushion. These fit the bill and were very comfortable. Unfortunately the stability in the toe box isn't there and I could feel my big toes dropping inward when I was just walking around the house in these. So close to being what I was looking for! For a stability shoe, it needs a little more.

As a loyal Brooks customer once 2014, these shoes are just ok. I bought them at Super Runner's Store on 50th / 2nd in NY. At first, they were everything you'd want in a shoe bouncy, lots of support and lots of firm cushion. After a month, they broke down fast and are just supportive but that bouncy and cushion feel has disappeared. In order to keep that same feeling, you'd need to have a new pair every month, and that shouldn't be. For reference, I walk a minimum of 6.5 miles everyday, often times more.

I love the cushion in the heal, however for some reason I am experiencing ankle pain after wearing them. I haven't experienced this from any sneaker before. Maybe the sneaker can be modified somehow to have a gel that forms support around the ankle. Not sure what is causing the issue. Other than the ankle/Achilles pain I would say this has to be the most comfortable sneaker I have worn in a very long time. Highly recommend it. Not sure if it is my go to sneaker out of the brooks family just yet but it's definitely in my rotation.

When I first put these shoes on they felt great. Within a month shoe felt too big and callouses were occurring due to inappropriate fit. I felt it best to return shoes for a smaller size with hopes of a better fit. So grateful for Zappos's return policy.
