As a loyal Brooks customer once 2014, these shoes are just ok. I bought them at Super Runners Store on 50th / 2nd in NY. At first, they were everything youd want in a shoe bouncy, lots of support and lots of firm cushion. After a month, they broke down fast and are just supportive but that bouncy and cushion feel has disappeared. In order to keep that same feeling, youd need to have a new pair every month, and that shouldnt be. For reference, I walk a minimum of 6.5 miles everyday, often times more.

Have worn Ariels for years, decided to go with the Glycerin because it seemed more cushiony. BAD MISTAKE. Obviously, I need the GuideRails the Ariels have. The balls of my feet were extremely sore. However, this is why I order from Brooks. I sent the Glycerins back after a couple of days, and ordered the Ariels.

I have plantar fasciitis due to having a high arch, and these shoes are just what the doctor ordered. Once I started wearing these shoes for my power walks my feet started getting better. I have now been wearing them for two weeks, and my feet are completely better. Yay!

First of all I am not a runner but I walk a lot. I have been wearing Brooks exclusively the last 5 years replacing other brands. I was quite happy with comfort of feet and legs. Unfortunately the last two pairs I bought recently are not giving me the same results. I start to walk pretty comfortably but then by the end of the day Im experiencing sore feet and cramping legs. I think that added thickness is causing the discomfort. So sad I didnt get previous results.

Absolutely in LOVE! 10/10 recommend if you need a stable sneaker. I was using Hokas Bondi before that was causing my knee issues but these are heaven sent! I am using them to train for my half marathon and use for them and Im so excited! I cant wait to order more!

Its been a few years since Ive worn Brooks so I ordered this pair in anticipation of my other running shoes falling apart. They recently did and my first run in these created a few aches but was overall ok. I didnt have any foot or joint pain following the run either. My only concern is how odd the lip is on this shoe. I dont know what it is about it, but it hurts. Its not noticeable when running so much but is very noticeable when walking. Ive tried loosening the laces, but that just compromises the stability of the exercise, and doesnt actually make it more bearable. Its just a bulky uncomfortable lip and I hope over time it will go away.

These are very comfortable sneakers. Im a huge fan of Ghost 12 in particular, however Brooks hasnt made Ghosts like Ghost 12 ever again. After buying Ghost 14 and Ghost 15 (and returning both pairs each time after realizing the quality was not the same) Glycerin GTS 21 were the next best sneakers Brooks could offer based on my needs and foot type (flat feet). Please bring back Ghost 12!

I actually love these sneaks And I could not get the GTS 20s so I had to get the 21 and My last two pair of wides fit great! this pair for some reason or another is very tight At the top middle. The tongue, shoelace area Does not allow for too much room so if you have a high top part of the foot, it will be very tight. It actually leaves indents on my feet when I take them off. I did allow for breaking time and its still tight. For my heel burning issue when I walk, it completely resolves it. So just a little tight, but it does the job on my feet.

Very comfortable, lots of cushioning. Great for stability. Only reason Im not giving 5 stars is the top inner toe area buckles a bit. Not sure why this is happening, I thought maybe the shoe tongue was pulled too tight, but after readjusting, thats not the problem.

The previous model was perfect but this one is cheaply made. The toe box fabric collapses in and the instep rubs the sides of my big toes leaving them sore. They ruined a good shoe.

This feels a lot like the Saucony Hurricane 22 that I previously purchased many copies of: soft bounce through the sole, soft upper, enough room in the toes to splay out, but my foot doesn't slip and compress at one edge like it does with some shoes. It's like a snug pillowy wrap. Overall it feels like it can hold my foot in place without being "tight," which is just a constant tug-of-war for me with running shoes.

I have had the regular gycerins and could not figure out why the bottom of my feet hurt (skin) after a long day and a lot of walking/running.. it was because they were TOO cushioned and a little wide for me and my feet were moving too much in the shoe.. I tried the Glycerin GTS and let me tell you, it's a world of a difference and so much better. They have more 'support' and perfect amount of cushion. its officially my new favorite shoe! PERFECT.

I work in Healthcare. At the end of my shift my hips were aching miserably. I have a bunion that makes finding shoes difficult. These fit like a glove. I got a size 11 rather than my usual 10. I can now go home without hip pain. These seem very well made, hope they last a while.

I previously had a pair of Ghost 14 sneakers i loved but decided to switched to glycerin for more support. I have developed numbness in my feet and left ankle pain that I never experienced before. I can only attribute it to the new shoes. Will be looking for something else soon!

I bought the same pair in store about eight months ago. It took a good four or five months before my foot pain came back and I needed a new pair. I ordered this pair online and my foot pain has already returned a month later. These one seems to be wearing out way faster.

LOVE THE SHOE!!! The cushioning in the heel is so welcome and the arch support is appropriate for me. Being 66 years old and still wanting to go out on morning runs, my feet feel so comfortable. The toe box is appropriate and doesn't squeeze my front of my foot. As a soccer referee, I need comfort and support, I love them so much I bought the black to use as my part of my uniform. I ordered 9.5, but please understand I always order a full size larger, dress shoe is 8.5

I'm still in the process of deciding which shoe feels better. It's a toss up between the Ghost Max and this. If I change my mind and like this shoe, I will update my review. The problem with this shoe is it just causes pain at my sensitive area - I've had a tear to the peroneal brevus tendon, partial, right under the 5th metatarsal head. Anything that adds "support" or extra pressure to this area exacerbates the pain. I use an insole, plus arch support and a heel pad. It's been a challenge, waiting for this issue to heal, while still being able to go for a walk.

These shoes are ultra comfortable and supportive. I like to get a wide so I have a lot of room in the toe box. I feel like theyre a bit bulky and heavy, and the heel is higher than my previous shoes but I am asking for a lot of support and with that, I probably have to trade off on weight. Would recommend for someone who needs arch support and help keeping feet in alignment while walking, you get used to the bulk, height, and weight of the shoe over time. I just found myself not picking my feet up high enough at first and scuffing the bottoms of the shoes and almost tripping as I got used to them.
