I often buy mens shoes but these were huge! I had to double check I wasn't shipped wide ones. Really disappointed I have to send back.

The second attempt at a good fit did not work. Have to stuff cotton in toe and ware two pairs of socks. Normally I ware 10 wide. My guess is that a 8 1/2 regular (or even narrow?) would have been better. But, I wore them and so I'll have to live with them. And based on the quality I guess they will last longer than me.

The failure of Bean to correctly size their moc's is disappointing and disillusioning. Used their sizing and tried twice with a return and repurchase. I walk out of these regardless of the size bought. The foam insert pits poorly. Will not buy on line from Bean again.

Great idea and I have bought them twice before; however, having lived with this model for 20 + years, it needs to be redesigned. It's too heavy and too clunky. Totally overbuilt for the purpose intended. It should be based on Bean's original Maine boot, featuring a much lighter rubber shoe and sole. It would then be an ideal wet environment moc you could slip on and feel the earth beneath your feet.. the

Sizing is terrible, I'm done trying to figure it out I'll donate these to someone and get a different brand.

I wanted so much to give a glowing report but can't. Previously. I had purchased a pair of 11 inch Bean boots and have worn them about 3 years now. They were so comfortable that I wanted this pair of low cut slip-ins. I wore them indoors to get them broke in. For some reason the heel didn't feel right. Then, after a week I wore them outside. I stepped up on a curb from a parking lot and felt a sudden pain in my heel. After a week of putting up with the pain I saw a podiatrist who diag6me with Plantar Fasciitis. I'm saddened and disappointed in the shoes. I may return them. On a positive note, please believe LL BEAN when they say to order a size down. I allways wear a size 14EE and ordered a size 13 Wide and they fit perfectly.

Very disappointed that I had to exchange 3 different pairs due them being too large. I decided to return them all and ordered the Storm Chaser shoe instead. Hopefully they will fit correctly. Thanks to the agent in helping me with a different shoe selection. The best thing with LL Bean is their Customer Service and their excellent return policy. Thanks

A lace broke the 3rd time I wore them. I went to a store and they handed me new laces & said good luck, these are almost impossible to replace the laces.

Size ordered had indicated size but way bigger when I tried fitting it on!

$6.50 for returns!!! And then you send me a 10 dollar coupon!!!! Get with it, the product might be great but return cost is not competitive. You should've just charged me $6.50 more and free returns. I would be happy now. I have a lousy opinion of your company.

Your sizes are off mark. My Vans are 8 1/2/ and fit perfectly. My Bass Wegins are 7 1/2/ too small; had to have the shoes stretched. LL Bean are clown sizes . Think I'll return again (4th time and too much penalty and money) for a 6 !/2 of which I have not worn sinse I was 15; i'm now 76.

Sizing runs very large - tried 3 different sizes and all were too loose.

I went into a store and tried on shoes from three manufacturers, and size 13 was the right fit for all of them, so, following your directions, I ordered your boots in size 12. They were so large I couldn't take a step without stepping completely out of them. The pair I have now are 40 years old and I am desperate to replace them, but I'm not going to pay for the privilege of guessing what size I need.

Shoes are two sizes larger than their stated size. The description says one has to order one size smaller than your real show size, which is already a red flag that their quality control is poor. Well, you really need to order two sizes smaller. e.g. If you wear a men's 10, you need to order 8's to have them fit. As usual, Bean's fulfillment time is abomidable.

I love this company and I love their product. It's always so cool to receive boots, shoes and gear that feel like they were made just for you. The personal touch of an inspector or a craftsman's handwriting proudly proclaiming that they toiled and stitched to make this product special just for you is the reason why I keep coming back. I recently purchased these men's moc boots and was thrilled with the fit functionality and quality. So thrilled, I purchased two additional pairs in different colors and this time it was depressing. I feel like I received pre-worn, used hand-me-downs. There were scratches, broken stitches, one pair looked like a bird had pooped on the laces. There wasn't that special tag from the craftsperson that I've grown to expect and love. There was a slip in the box that said to call a phone number for quicker return service, which I called. Although the representative was nice, there was no offer to replace, re-order or to give the company another chance to make it right. It was basically "drop the box off at UPS". I'm a busy single father and have kids to take care of and my off time is at a premium so no time to spare to drop off defective boxes and products at UPS. I asked for pick up at my home. I've taped the return label to the box as instructed and now, with some luck, they will be picked up at a decent hour while I'm away at work. I'm not thrilled with leaving a box that says L.L. Bean at the front of my garage for 10 hours, but if that's what it takes to spend more time with my kids, that's what I'm going to do. Again, I love the product, but please do better. I love these boots and would love to have identical products delivered to me, i'm not asking for anything free, but that is not an option that L.L. Bean has offered me, nor should I have to plead for these to be replaced. This is very off-brand service and quality for such a storied company. I think we may have reached the end of a beautiful relationship.

Ordered these a size smaller, (per your recommendation) still too big, went down another size, still very sloppy on feet. The shape is not contoured enough to fit properly.

Horrible. Ordered a size and a half small and the back of the shoe is so low your heal comes out of the shoe with every step. They were returned and i purchased Sherry's!

Beautifully made boots, but I can't wear because they rub my ankles & toes raw-even with heavy cushioning socks. Can't return because they've been stretched & worn. Very disappointed as my other 4 pair of Bean boots fit perfectly.

you canceled my order with no explanation. Is the color no longer available? This was a xmas gift so dissapointed.

This shoe was a full 2 sizes too big. It is to much of a pain to return so we gave them to our son. Don't buy if you can't try them on.

Total joke! There is a full two inch space between my heel and the back of the shoes. Both my Keen shoe and Clark are the size marked on the Rubber Mocs, and they fit well. While the width is OK the shoe should be marked "narrow " as they are so long.

They say buy a half size smaller than your other shoes. Mine is 8 and a half, so I ordered 8 and they were way too big . I returned them and ordered size 7 and a half. They were too big, so I returned them and ordered size 7. Once they got my return, they said it would be ten days before I got the new order. That's ridiculous. Plus every time you return an item they charge you six-plus dollars. My advice is don't waste your time on these shoes or LL Bean. This company is not up to speed in modern customer satisfaction and not at all what it used to be.

very disappointed. I have been shopping Beans for 50+ years and have had more than half a dozen Bean Boots. these are the first (low cut) Moc style and they just don't fit comfortably. I ordered my normal size and they were crazy large. returned for a second pair 1/2 size smaller and still way too large so returned those for 1-1/2 sizes under my normal. These are still loose even with my heaviest Bean wool hunting socks. Nonetheless I thought I should try them and so took the dog for a short walk. these ride up on my heels so much they pull the sicks down to bunch up under my feet. Just not at all comfortable so I guess i write them off as an expensive lesson learned.

I don't understand, I wear a size 12. 11.5 were way too large, 11 too large.
