size too large...employee said there were no 6 1/2 size available..sent it back (3rd time wrong size) and as yet, no refund on my credit card.

Was very frustrated and sent back the second order.. First order was to big and reorder 2nd time and was still to bigi . I wear 10 1/2 and order was still big. When the 9 1/2 was still tp big

I'm down to the smallest size that comfortably fits my foot size, but the shape of the heel makes it impossible for the mock to stay on. It will fall off if I'm sitting, or I can walk out of it.

I waited for years to finally buy a pair of the mocs and am underwhelmed. Despite ordering a full size down from your actual shoe size per LL Bean recommendation, the mocs are still too big. Plus, the leather lace snapped on my first wearing. I can not seem to make them tight enough on my foot to avoid an overly loose "flip flop" effect. I am seriously bummed because I love LL Bean products and am still brand loyal. But the moc is a big miss for me. I will say the orange soles are a good look.

My bean mocs finally fell apart so I ordered a new pair- ordered a size down-but unfortunately after reading reviews I ordered the larger width- big mistake! After trying to tighten laces- I wore them for a few days and they are cutting below my ankles and making my footing unstable- out the cost of mocs! But I still love LL Bean and always order from them. But I can't walk in my new mocs.

My husband wanted these shoes. He wears a 14. I ordered a 13. It was too tight in the toe area and too long overall. Disappointed. They are well made and look great.

Way too bigfor your feet based on regular size before the purchasing

Sizes seem to be larger than expected. Can't find the size that fits. Ordered size I usually wear and LLBean's boots are way too large. To exchange I need to pay a return fee and this is getting to become expensive as each size I try is too large.

The quality is outstanding, however, the sizes run larger than presented.

Rubber Moc was too large. Had to return the product twice.

I still have my original Mocs that are over 30 yo. It was an 11 narrow. Bought this one in an 11. WAY too wide and long. Tried the 10.5. Still too big.

Boots have a sloppy fit and are cold. I'm considering getting a furry insole to warm them up. Also very heavy.

Size need at be real foot size. I was unable to get a good fit with two tries.

I wear size 14. Took LL Beans advice and went a size down size 13. Still way to big. Will return.

They do not last. i usually get about four years out of these. My latest pair literally fell apart after two years. The soles are about as usual, but the stitich for the uppers completely disintegrated. They are completely and utterly useless at this point. Not buying more. Done with these shoes after wearing them since the 70's. Buh bye! Oh, and BTW, I posted a review previously, and it went through the whole process, told me it was posted, and it is missing. So I am doing this AGAIN so that you do not make the same mistake I made.

I often buy mens shoes but these were huge! I had to double check I wasn't shipped wide ones. Really disappointed I have to send back.

The second attempt at a good fit did not work. Have to stuff cotton in toe and ware two pairs of socks. Normally I ware 10 wide. My guess is that a 8 1/2 regular (or even narrow?) would have been better. But, I wore them and so I'll have to live with them. And based on the quality I guess they will last longer than me.

The failure of Bean to correctly size their moc's is disappointing and disillusioning. Used their sizing and tried twice with a return and repurchase. I walk out of these regardless of the size bought. The foam insert pits poorly. Will not buy on line from Bean again.

Great idea and I have bought them twice before; however, having lived with this model for 20 + years, it needs to be redesigned. It's too heavy and too clunky. Totally overbuilt for the purpose intended. It should be based on Bean's original Maine boot, featuring a much lighter rubber shoe and sole. It would then be an ideal wet environment moc you could slip on and feel the earth beneath your feet.. the

I say poor, because they just don't fit. I ordered a 12, because i usually wear a 13. They are too big. I am thinking about sending them back and getting an 11. They are also too wide at the heel.

I purchased the medium width mocs and I have average feet as far as how wide they are. The mocs fit perfectly in the length, but the width of the leather portion all the way to the heel is extremely wide. I can walk right of my my shoes with no effort and they rub on my heels and are not comfortable to wear. I should have returned them. It is almost like they mislabeled them, and I got the wide version. Very disappointed that I really can't wear them.

I really wanted to like these and wanted to wear them a lot more but I can't; I have Bean boots and Bean lace-up moccasins and they fit great! The sizing on these slip-on Bean shoes is terrible. I wear a size 9 and had to order a size 7 in these; the toebox is too narrow for me, even in the wider size. Sadly, I am just going to donate these and try to find something else.
