The length is too long and the thong arch is very shallow. At first I thought they mistakenly sent me the narrow size, but no. I have other pairs of birkenstoks (most fit like a dream), so I'm not sure why this footprint is different. If you have a wide foot with a high arch, these are not the sandals for you.

I had to return. While I love the style, I was sent the last pair of size 40. One shoe was bright leather, and the other was dull and muted. On my feet, they look like two totally different shoes. I don't fault Birkenstock. The shoe is designed well. I fault Zappos on the quality of this last remaining pair.

unfortunately these Birkenstocks continue to hurt my feet even with 3 weeks of wearing. I am so disappointed, as I always wear Birkenstocks all year. I am a teacher and am on my feet all day and Birks are the best!!! This style is just not forming to my foot. I am very used to wearing the "Gizeh" with the toe thong... this is much thicker and very hard to get used to. The width is also not forming to my foot and I have a medium width. I want to return however, I have already worn them. Please help? I am stuck with very expensive sandals that hurt my feet terribly. Thank you!!

The fit and size were great. However, I was not impressed with the high shine leather. The leather looks like plastic. For $160 I was not impressed.

So hard

I have been wearing Birkenstocks for years and have several pairs in this style. This is the first pair I have ever been disappointed in. I feel like I received a defective pair. The leather feels cheap and the right sandal strap coming up from the toe would not lay flat, it had a weird buckle to it. I really wanted to love these as they are super cute with the big gold buckle but unfortunately returned them :(

These Birks with a leather/ NOT cork insole were horrifically uncomfortable. Nothing to mold to your foot. And the toe thong bites into your skin. Stay away and get normal Birkenstocks of any other kind. This is the only pair of Birkenstocks I have ever known to be uncomfortable.

Wanted to love it but it hurts my feet it is stiff to walk in and it doesn’t break in. Hate that I need to return

The style is very cute, but on first wear, my feet feel very constrained to the shoe. natural foot movement whilst walking is awkward (think Charlie’s horse/cramp in foot bc your foot isn’t able to bend where it needs) the leather is not soft at all like my other Birkenstocks and the toe strap over time I imagine will cause blisters. Would like to return.

The strap across the instep is too long unless you have a very high arch or a very chubby foot. I would love to buy several pairs of Big Buckle Gizehs if not for the longer length of strap over instep compared to six years ago.

Fit was great but the leather is so stiff and the plastic toe piece is horribly uncomfortable. Over priced for the quality of this sandal.

The piece between your toes is very hard and hurt my toes. I tried but I just could not wear them.

Extremely cute high quality sandal, the large strap jus would not let me put on the sandal, it hurt the top of my foot.

These sandals are very uncomfortable. The strap between your toes really hurts. I could barely walk in them. Not sure why this is. Bad design.

So disappointed in my first pair of Birkenstock sandals. I waited a few months to write this hoping that they would break in and the endless squeaking would stop. It has not. I sound like I am wearing a cheap pair of flip flops. They are adorable and comfortable, but the creaking noise is a deal breaker, especially at this price point.

OWWW! The biggest problem with these shoes was the design of the thing that separates the toes. It felt like sticking a sharp rectangular stick between my toes -- and then I was supposed to walk around in them. Not a chance. Also, I wasn't excited about the color. It was a drab pink.

Excess glue everywhere and the footbed feels "plasticky". So disappointed with the quality. For the price, it's NOT WORTH IT.

These shoes arrived on March 14th with scratches on them. One shoe is a different color than the other...almost looks like it's faded from sitting in the sun. Very disappointed for what I paid for these sandals. DEFINITELY returning for a refund.

The piece between the toes was very hard. Even though I wear a 71/2 size 38 was way too big. Exchanged for a difference style and size. Exchange process was superb!
