I am an 84 year old daily walker who has been sidelined due to arthritis in my left foot and right ankle. I have been fitted with orthodic arch supports modified to allow for a metatarsal joint that protrudes through the ball of the foot pad. I have tried several different shoe brands with limited success and comfort. The Brooks Glycerin GTS 21, along with my orthodics, is a life saver for me! I am able to walk my regular 1 and 2 mile routes again without my feet or ankles bothering me. The nitrogen expanded sole is the "secret sauce" to a soft but supportive base that I need. The woven mesh upper is firm but not restrictive so that you do not develop any blisters, calluses, or bunions. I am not happy that I have to wear a larger size due to my flat feet but the broad foot print of the sole adds more safety for my balance and stability. I am a happy walker, again!

This is my second pair of Glycerin GTS, I also had the 20's. I like the feel and stability as a max cushion shoe, but the quality of the shoe in both successive pairs has left me a little disappointed. On each pair, inside the shoe in the toe box the interior liner has either come unglued from the shoe housing (on the 20s), or has collapsed in a way where a portion of the inner shoe pokes my toes (21's). Something about their toebox quality of construction is lacking.

Great shoe. Much better laces than previous version. Good comfort and support. Only issue is the toe box seems narrower and had blister on little toe with marathon distance. This has not happened with previous versions and I always run in Glycerines. Maybe thinner socks will help this.

This shoe is very light and has a lot of cushion and support that I need for long walks with my dog. I dont run anymore but this shoe is great for walking and long days on my feet at work and they work great with my custom orthotics. Its a different fit than the Beast GTS 23 which I still wear but they both feel comfortable so Im able to rotate several pairs of shoes. And theres a few more colors than the Beast GTS.

These shoes are perfect for everyday needs, there comfortable and they give plenty of air for your feet to breathe, the bottom has the right amount of support to keep you goin and there all around comfy, I have back issues and they have helped me get back to the gym and break that sweat I need. Definitely buying more when I have the money

I have been wearing Brooks product exclusively for about 10 years.
Had a pair of GLYCERIN GTS 21 in color 184- Coconut/Forged Iron/ Yellow
and loved them, especially the added cushioning. I wore that pair for close to 4
months, and then bought another pair in Blue. Have been wearing on and off for
about a month, and find the cushion to be much firmer than first pair. Disappointing, but I will continue with Brooks , maybe just stay with original color

The sneakers provide good support and have helped my arches, which were bothering me from the last shoes I wore. My only issue is that they hurt the tops of my feet after a full day of walking. It feels like something is digging into my foot there. I can't figure out if it's extra material rubbing against the top of my foot or what the issue is. But on the whole I'd recommend them.

I love these shoes so much! I never realized that I needed a shoe with support. Ive been wearing the glycerin 20 (no support) for two years and decided to upgrade. I am beyond happy with my purchase!

Great walking shoe, except the weird toe box area that rubs my toe. Shoe is the right size, just has a weird toe box fitment.

Love this shoe. The toe box has more room than the last version. Very comfortable I am just waiting for more colors in the Gts Version to come out! I feel firm and stable with this shoe. I feel that the glycerin is softer than the Ghost max too.

Very well fitting and comfortable, however, I developed some discomfort in my left arch after only two walks. I question whether or not the Glycerin GTS 21 offers the support I need.

Great pair of shoes. I haven't tried Brooks shoes until my Mom and her Doctor suggested best shoes for foot support. Plus very comfortable. The only problem I had was with pricing and shipping.
I plan on buying the Ghost 16 when available. Brooks Customer Support please send me a code for 40% off for my inconvenience and hardship with dealing with the incompetent Support Agent.
Thank you

Ive been going with brooks for several years now. Brooks has been the only brand that regularly carries 1-2 shoe options in my size. I decided to try a size down and remain wide, and these are perfection. 14 wides feel like shoes felt when I was a kid. Id give 5 stars if there were any color options. As it stands, Im always made to buy plain black. Increase the stock on wide large shoes, and youre the perfect company. Might as well, all the larger companies no longer make wides. Cash in and Ill spread the word!

Would have gave 5 stars but there is a crease by my big toe that rubs pretty good on my left foot. Other than that they are awesome. Very comfortable

A definite great buy. These are some of the most comfortable shoes I have owned. I have a bad knee, and the support they provide have helped alleviate the knee pain I have been experiencing. The sizes run true, and if you're not used to the added support, then you are in for a pleasant surprise.
