I purchased these in May and just started to wear them the last 4 weeks as my marathon training has started and I must say I am not a fan of the new style Glycerins..I feel like I'm about to go over on my anklehave worn Glycerin for years and loved them. This new style is not for me I'm going to Oder the Launch instead!

I’ve always worn a 9 1/2 in Brooks shoes, and always liked my Brooks shoes. The Launch unfortunately has gotten so cheap feeling and wears out quickly. Hoped the Glycerin would be be better as it has good reviews. But this felt like a full 1/2 size smaller and the toe box pinched and was definitely narrower. So disappointing. Will be going to my local athletic shoe store, because I’m going to need to find another brand I guess. No longer a diehard Brooks fan.

I have been loyal to the Glycerin models for years...many, many years, but I tried 2 different sizes in the Glycerin 21's and both were incredibly uncomfortable. In both sizes, the seam (where the tongue is attached to the shoe) across the top of my right foot dug into my foot. I loosened the laces as much as possible and even sized up to see if I could fix the problem, but in both cases the seam was too thick and left a mark and ache across the top of my foot. I have had to return both pairs. The left shoe, in both instances, was totally fine.

Not like the Glycerin 20. Toe box is more narrow and runs against my baby toe no matter the socks. Disappointed

Comfortable but defective and lacking quality control. I love the comfort, so much so that I am getting ready to order my 4th pair (after returning 3 pairs) because of defects. Two pair not sown/glued properly and 1 pair not properly placed on sole of shoe. Hoping the 4th pair will be a charm because they are more comfortable than the 20's. Just very frustrating that I can't get a good made pair. On a positive note, my husband's were good.

I wear an 8 1/2 in Brooks but this style was too big. The feel was not firm compared to my Ghosts. Felt like I was walking on a sponge.

Hips seem to be hurting since switching from Hoka to Brooks. Almost feels like too much cushion and not enough support. Makes me sad as I only have 2 pairs of walking or running shoes and my Hokas are 3 years old. Can't afford to switch back. But I do know that every foot is different. Just was hoping it would help with Achilles issues. But it didn't, and now having hip issues. But I know people who LOVE Brooks. Just afraid they are not right for me.

The Glycerine 20 was the best shoe I ever wore. I have flat feet and wear orthotics and for most of my life walking felt like a chore. The Glycerine 20 birthed new life in my feet and I was able to go for miles in comfort. But of course, Brooks (like many other shoe brands) had to go and ruin a perfect thing. The Glycerine 21s have way too much foam and run smaller than the 20s , plus they did away with the awesome black/blue/fuschia combo. I tried two sizes of 21s but they were just too mushy and gave me shin splints. I tried the Ghost 16s and those haven't worked out either, so I ended up sticking up on whatever Glycerine 20s I could find and hope that in the next couple of years, Brooks will return to the 20 model. More foam does not equal a better shoe.

I like the cushion but these run so much shorter in length than the previous models of glycerin . Very disappointed. I had to return due to short length

I've had 2 previous pairs of Glycerins and love how they feel, so when I needed a new pair these were a no-brainer but to my unpleasant surprise, the 21s are cut WAYYYY narrow. I got my normal size, a 7W, and the tongue didn't even cover my foot! There was a gap on either side when tying the laces. Also the toe box felt like a torture chamber, so much narrower than my 18s. These went straight back and I guess I'll have to wait for the 22s and hope they go back to making *actually wide* shoes. Also, Brooks, please just lmk if you need help deciding which colorways get made in wide, because you seem to be struggling. People with wide feet like fun colors, too. Glad we had this talk, thanks.

I have been ordering Glycerin's from Zappos and wearing for many years. This particular pair is not comfortable. They were fine the first month or so when exercising but afterwards where the tongue attaches to the toe box began aggravating and rubbing the top of my feet. I've loosened and tightened the laces to see if it would help but did not. I will end up ordering another pair to see if they are any better.

The first pair of these I ordered was huge. Exchanged for half size down. Were delivered extremely quickly. I have worn them on a few walks and not happy with them. They really make my bunion on left foot "mean". I can't figure out why and now I've worn them so don't know if I can still return. My old pair doesn't and never did do this and yet they feel like out of the same material. Sad.

I’m use to Bondi’s so this was a change for me. I selected my normal size 9 wide but could have gone up a half size. Unfortunately I felt like the front of the shoe was very unsupportive in the toes. As if I was walking down hill. I realize this is the way the shoe rolls, but with a bone deformity in that area, I can’t put so much pressure on my toes. I’m going to try a different Brooks shoe. That said, I really wanted to like these because they worked perfectly with my orthotics and they aren’t so stacked like Bondi’s, yet still comfortable. Just not for me.

So frustrating how Brooks changes the toe box with each iteration. The Glycerin 20 9W fit perfectly--I was so excited b/c I'd previously worn Ghosts but starting with the Ghost 14 the toe box (even in wide width) became too narrow. Now this version of Glycerin fits exactly like the Ghost 14-somehow longer and narrower in the toe box, even in the wide width. I loved the Glycerin 20's cushion and all over look (I had the nice peacock blue). Anyway, now I am ordering the men's versions (in the past I've found the men's wide is wider than women's wide).

This is a very weird cut! I wear 6.5 across different brands and was barely able to put my foot into the shoe. I guess it's for very narrow feet (and, no, I don't wear wide shoes). It seems to be very stable.

the first week the shoes felt great. I bought these because I suffer from plantar fascitis and i have been suffering for years and no shoe has helped me. when I did my research finally settled on this model I was relieved. but it hasnt even been a month and the shoe is almost flat. the support I had at the begging faded away so fast its upsetting. the shoe was worth 160, I got them for 109 and still was stretch for me and Im upset, cant imagine paying full price and still receive that result. I guess I was so desperate for a good shoe that I ignored all the bad reviews!!

i was looking for a shoe that had a roomy toe box like my previous Glycerins but this was narrower and bouncier. I ordered the wider width because I was diagnosed with arthritis in my foot and needed a roomier shoe to accommodate an insert. I was surprised that the " d" width shoe was tighter than my previous Glycerin shoes.
