This is my first time buying Brooks shoes and I'm hooked. This is a very comfortable shoes ever. I normally use 7.5 but I size it up to 8 and its very perfect.

Let me first state that I never wear any other running/workout shoe than Brooks. My new ones do not disappoint as usual. I must say, the toe area is not very attractive and I feel like Im wearing a clown shoe. Having said that, the shoe is comfortable, especially on the treadmill and walking in general. I do have to change the inner sole to a more cushiony one, but I always do this. I dont like spending this much money, but, as of now, I think it was worth it. Brooks rules!

My last 3 pairs of running shoes were Brooks, and after years in Nike, I was excited to finally find a shoe with a comfortably wide toe box and no risk of heel blisters while breaking in. As a life-long runner, I'd gone from 5-toes on trail runs to these trampoline road shoes for the first time. They come very highly rated, but I can't continue wearing them. Like these, my other Brooks were all 9.5/41, but these are noticeably shorter! My toes are ramming into the front, and after a week of discomfort (thinking they'd give just enough), I just can't wear them. Otherwise, really comfortable, but be sure to try a half size up for length.

I am sooo sad about the update from the 20 to the 21. As a wide-foot gal with plantar fasciitis and tendonitis, the Glycerin 20's (Wide) were perfect for me. The 21 seems to have an updated toe area that feels slightly more narrow (even in the wide version), and they raised the back of the shoe. I had to return because the back of the shoe was causing blisters on my heel. That never happened with the 20.

Brooks are my go to shoes. I use them for walking. Any other brand I have tried hurts my knees and feet. Will always buy them in future.

I love this design and fit of the shoe. I wear them all the time. I am not a runner. I use as daily shoes because I have a issue with a nerve in my foot and these work well with my custom arch supports. They dont let my ankles roll when I weight train and support my foot very well on my long walks and active lifestyle. My only issue with them is I had to wash them and the shoe came apart in the wash. I always wash my shoes but these didnt hold up unfortunately. That is my only draw back. I bought the white pair so washing is important when you wear them all the time. These unfortunately didnt pass that test.

I have osteoarthritis in both feet along with heels spurs. My foot doctor recommended Brooks shoes. It was turning point in the ability to work all day standing and go home at the end of the day with little pain. This shoe made a huge improvement in the quality of my life.

The fit is overall the same as the 20. The upper is old-school. I feel like Im wearing, maybe a 14 or before, but still wide toe box, good comfort. Im so happy the shoe laces are back to holding when tied. The ones in the last few versions were awfuluntied every run, even with a double knot. The back heels were slightly bulkier but I dont notice it while running. Overall, great shoes as usual! Note: I am getting a black toenail after just 2 weeks. I hadnt had one since they changed the upper a few years back.

I was hoping to love these as much as most of my other Glycerins! Except for the 19, I have loved every pair I have worn and I have been a faithful Glycerin groupie for 9 years. The cushion is AMAZING!! When I first put them on, I felt like I was walking on air... so 10 stars for that! Every pair of Glycerins I have owned required NO break in! Perfect the first time I put them on. The 21 felt a little tighter than any other pair I've bought. I still love them - but they're needing a little more breaking in than I anticipated.

Loved the 20s. The 21s are more narrow and caused terrible pain in my pinky toes after only 30 mins of walking. It seems like maybe the rigid toe support that wraps around the front end might be bigger or longer than the previous version, or that the footbed was changed. Either way Im incredibly disappointed that yet again a shoe company changes a perfect shoe for no reason and I have to yet again find a different model. Why do these companies do this??

Most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Wide enough in the toe box yet narrow enough to fit my heel. I have plantar fasciitis and this shoe really gives me the support I need.

I don't like the looks of the new Glycerin compared to the old ones. I am trying to find a different shoe right now because I cannot find any of the old ones to purchase in my size. They look like an old person orthopedic shoe instead of a sneaker

Glycerin is the ONLY shoe I wear. It has helped resolve some major issues w/my feet. The shoe is stable, cushioning is soft, and overall a great shoe.

Miss the original glycerin 20! These shoes gave me horrible corns and blisters. Very sad having to return them. Hopefully my feet heal soon. Absolutely loved the original glycerin 20! Maybe they will bring them back? Little scared to try now.

I like the fit and comfort of these sneakers, even with my bunions. I am a little bit disappointed that my feet sweat very easily in this sneaker, though. I like to be able to wear my sneakers all day, not with these. I need to change after a few hours of wear.

This is the 4th pair of Glycerins I have purchased, but the first pair of 21. The shoe is a tad shorter (my toes rub now and then) but the toebox is still roomy. The shoe is well cushioned. But it is the ugliest Brooks shoe I have ever had. It looks like an orthopedic shoe. It looks nothing like the last pair of Glycerin 20 I have. I love my 20's but not so much the 21.

I have been wearing Brooks Glycerin shoes for about 15 years which were excellent until I got these Glycerin 21. I just returned these shoes as they hurt my right foot so much that I couldnt walk around the block without great pain. Sad day for me!!

Best running shoes. Firm but pliant. Enough cushion to protect when road running but not so much that the shoe is heavy. The shoe colors also mask the dirt. I recommend these shoes to anyone that will listen. I purchased two more. Love them!

LOVE, LOVE the glycerin! I was a ghost then went to the ghost max which I love also. I have a new knee with another in a few weeks. I went with glycerin because I bought a pair for my spouse. He loved them so much I thought I would try them. I am a neutral fit and the shoe produce great stability and cushioned support! Definitely in my rotation now!

Love the support and cushion of the shoes without getting any cramps until about mile 24 at the NYC Marathon. Didnt love the fact that there were very few selections available in wide sizes. Would have love to see more vibrant colors for race days.

Sadly these went back after only 1 wearing. They changed so much from the previous year and I couldnt stand them! The outside bumpers are SO much wider, they looked like clown shoes. If I wanted Hokas I would have bought them. Bring back the old style!!!

I loved my Glycerin 20s, but the 21s have sadly disappointed me so far. They definitely fit smaller than before, and I have been experiencing uncomfortable rubbing and blistering after just 15 miles collectively. I am returning them and ordering the wide version, but am very disappointed in the lack of selection for colors in wide shoes- people with wider feet want pretty shoes, too! I am so sad to have to switch from lilac to plain black shoes.
