While I love these sandals, I am really disappointed in these manufacturing of these shoes. My son has worn them 2, maybe 3 times and all the brown "leather" is pealing off everywhere the straps bend, which is everywhere. There is cracking by the buckles that was like that after one wear. I have bought this brand countless times for my older daughters and have NEVER had this problem. wont know if its the style, or what, but I am very disappointed to have spent this much on a pair of shoes for a child and they wear worse than the $10 old navy sandals he had. I don't think I have ever taken the time to write any review, but save your money, maybe try a different style, but these were a disappointment.

Love that the top strap is a Velcro. My older one used to have them and they were buckles. Super cute and easy to slip on and off wide and high feet. True to size. My son wears a 19/20 and I got a size 4

I highly recommend looking up how to break in salt water sandals and following the instructions before wearing as the shoes are very stiff out of the box. Once broken in however my daughter loves them, she won't take them off! She wears an 8 in Bogs and Stride Rite, but was easily a 7 in the sandals with plenty of room to grow this summer. She has wide feet so the buckle style is a great option.

Love these adorable classic sandals. My little girls enjoyed wearing them all summer for dress up and every day play!!!

These shoes were true to size for my son. He has very wide and tall feet. The adjustable straps on these worked perfect for his feet!

These were super cute and exactly what I was hoping for, except the size 10 was way too small. I’m thinking these were an infant size. Went to 11’s and they were substantially bigger but still work for my dtr who usually wears a 10.

Perfect! I was worried about size, you're always warned to size down...I'm pretty sure my daughter is in between sizes so a bigger size worked. For me, Zappos' size chart for Kids is only showing sizes 3.5-7, which is useless...I checked for app updates and that didn't fix it. I went to Salt Water site and measured her foot, that said to get 11 so I did! At first try on they looked huge but they're fine! I love that they loosen over the toes, my kiddo needs room to wiggle her toes ;)

Very cute and classic sandal that's perfect for a little girl. Ordered to match a dress for an Easter egg hunt but will be worn throughout summer. Easy to clean, no blisters, and stay in good shape to pass along to the next wearer. They won't fail you!

Absolutely love these sandals. Only suggestion is if your baby is just starting to walk these might make it harder because there's no arch support. I ended up getting the same sandals with the thicker sole, it provides great support.

These type sandals run smaller than the platform ones.

Item is precious as can be but my review goes mostly to the helpful staff @ Zappos!! Our first order was defective, but we called their friendly customer service and received the correct order overnight without a single hiccup!

Love these shoes! They are cute and hold together well. I wore Salt Water Sandals when I was a kid and love that my little girl wears them now!

It took me a while to find a sandal that would be perfect for my 2 year old. I am very happy with this sandal. My daughter wears them everyday without issue and they sure take a beating with all the running and jumping around. I like the design, simple and classic. She can wear them with anything. I also like that she can get this sandal wet and they it will not ruin. They are of great quality.

These are darling, classic shoes which are both comfortable and stylish. My 5 year old wears them every day, and they look great with dresses and shorts. They are great quality. They leather doesn't eat into her feet, they breath and conform to her exact foot. We are very very happy with these shoes. The only drawback is buckling them takes a little time and a little practice but is ultimately great for her dexterity.

Have bought this sandal each year since my granddaughters were three, they are now five. Be sure and follow manufacturer's instructions for molding the shoe to the foot. Most important for comfort and true fit. This sandal does not wear out and goes from the beach, to Lily shifts, to hand smocked dresses.

These are the sweetest sandals ever! They seem to be pretty comfortable for our son and are great for the beach/pool.

These sandals are so adorable for little boys. However, these won't work for my three year old and his wide feet. Sad to see them go back.

These are the second pair or salt water shoes for my daughter! They are very comfortable for her! They are so cute on. I got them a little big since I wanted her to get the most use out of them and she won't grow out of them to soon!

I love these sandals! My six year old put these on and didn't want to take them off! She says they are comfortable and don't hurt her feet. She has worn them a lot and she has never had a blister or any kind of rubbing problem. I would recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable yet durable sandal.

These are good summer shoes, once you break them in. The sole is slippery out of the box but you just have to scuff them up a bit. I like the adjustable straps on the ankle and instep. The style without the instep strap were too tight for my daughter's arches.

These are the best summer sandals! They go with everything and totally remind me of my own baby shoes. :) The sizing charts were all off so I ended up exchanging 3 times! For my 1.5yo son until finally going with my son's actual size. Zappos, however, made it un-frustrating and seamless. I even rec'd a hand written! Note from one of the reps I spoke with. Zappos should really train the world in how to treat a customer. Thank you! XO

All my experiences on Zappos.com were great: the item arrived before I was expecting. This sandal was the third one that I bought to my son, because he really loves it!
