Orthofeet shoes are supposed to have good arch support. After having problems with my ankle swelling, I went to the ortho specialist and he said these shoes had no arch support and my left foot was pronating. If you need arch support, stay away from these.

These would have worked for me, but they SQUEAK! With every step, the shoes make a squeaking noise. Annoying to me & others!

These shoes have a very strong smell of mildew. Not acceptable.

Great fit and nice appearance, very comfortable. I like the optional inserts and additional arch support piece that came with the shoe. I haven’t worn them a lot yet so don’t know how they will wear or feel over time.

The Orthofeet Kita is terrific. I have torn my right ACL a second time and need a knee replacement as no one wants to do an ACL replacement on a 68 year old. The surgery is schedules for August but these feel so good when I walk and give me so much stability that I am wondering if I really need it. (I know I do, but . . .) I used the additional arch supports and one of the inserts as they were a bit loose, but they feel great out of the box and I know it will help me with recovery from the surgery.

Fit is a tad long, but workable. Arrived in good condition, with the inserts that are supposed to accompany the shoe.

I really like them. Pretty color, but more importantly fit and feel comfortable even after 12 hour day, wearing for the 1st time.

I wear a size 10 and the size 10 medium fits well. I almost considered sizing down half a size but I don't think that's necessary. There's proper toe room in the regular width and I do have a bit of a wide foot. I haven't noticed a squeak in these shoes unless you add one of the inserts to adjust the spacing inside the shoe. It comes with two optional spacers to help adjust the fit, if it's too loose. There's a slip resistant sole which would be great to prevent falls. There's moderate arch support and it comes with an additional arch booster if you need to adjust the support. I haven't worn them for a length of time but will see how it goes. Compared to another sneaker from a different brand that I have in a size 10, these are like the same length but a roomier fit with room to move your toes.

I normally wear a 7 but after wearing 2 weeks the shoe stretched and felt big and looked big so ordered a 6-1/2 and it was way too tight. I am staying with the size 7 as it was very comfortable and going to opt out of worrying that they look big as they are super comfortable and work for my bunion and needed arch.

I love how these shoes feel, and they are super easy to get on/off (without feeling like I might accidentally step out of them). The only thing I don’t like is the way the laces are set so far up the foot, away from the toes. It didn’t look that obvious in the pictures, but they do look a bit odd, in reality.

Wide is too wide for my foot.

The shoe is just to deep, adding the extra insole make the back rub on the back of my foot. Side of shoe hits my ankle bone.

I could not put these on without two hands and lots of tugging. Once on they felt like a good fit, but the daily struggle will be too much for me.

I liked the feel and look. I felt the sole could be thicker under the toe area. I will keep them.

Just wasn't comfortable

I wanted to like this shoe, but it was too tight over my arch. It also was more "orthotic" looking in person than I expected from the photo. If you don't have high arches it might work for you.

Stepping into these shoes hands free works great. However, my legs have neuropathy from a spinal cord injury. If my heel sits lower than the metatarsals, my legs get more spastic. This is the case with this shoe. They don't feel very cushioned either, but that actually can be an okay thing for seniors as shoes too cushy can exacerbate falling. Many may find these the perfect fit and they are very well made. I encourage you to try them to see if they are the shoe for you. I sadly, have to send them back.
