A very nice shoe. Unfortunately, it was too long and too wide in the heel in spite of being a narrow. I have a hard to fit foot- ideally need a 10.5 slim.

I loved the shoe, but the toe box wasn't big enough for me. I use an orthotic and that takes up some room. I found a different shoe that fits my foot better.

Like other reviewers, I love these. I especially love that they are *basic*: no logos, swooshes or crazy tread. I tend to dress punk rock / geek-chic and I just wanted a pair of comfortable sneakers that didn't detract from the rest of my outfit. These are perfect. They don't look like sports shoes or grandma shoes. They look like your favorite pair of functional sneakers. One thing to keep in mind, though: these puppies don't stretch. I keep thinking, are they really not stretching? But after a few months of wear I swear they are not. I assumed they would and bought a narrow because I like them snug. After days of walking miles in them, not only were they still uncomfortably tight around the ball of my foot, but they developed this bizarre white crust all over the front of both shoes. It looked like mildew. Really noticeable. It would wipe off with work, but then return on my next rainy walk. After a month I decided they must be defective and asked Zappos to send me a different pair, but this time regular width. Now that I've been wearing those a while I'm beginning to think it was just because the protective leather coating was cracking because of the strain around the wide part of my foot. Curious that no one else has mentioned it. The first time I bought a pair of these I realized later they were too large, and after a few months I donated this $75 pair of sneakers and bought the (too small) pair, because they were good enough I was willing to drop $150 in total to be able to wear them all the time. Just wear them around the house for a few days first because the size you start with is the size they are going to stay.

Solid shoe. Good foot support. Durable but not fancy on the style side.

I love these shoes! I wear them with jeans and casual pants to work. They are so light and comfortable on my feet that I hardly notice them. I have an extra wide width and small size and these fit perfectly.

I love this comfortable shoe! This is my 3rd pair in about 7 years.

I've bought Easy Spirit shoes three times for my elderly mother over the years. She likes them and they fit her well.

For some unknown reason I hadn't purchased any Easy Spirit shoes in some time. Big mistake. These are very comfortable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

These shoes are great. I needed a pair that was comfortable and that I could wear with black pants for music concert attire. These are basic, but not clunky looking and look sharp for what I need. Wearing a large size shoe is a handicap when trying to find something that doesn't look like you are a pro-basketball player. Thanks for having these around.

I wanted a pair of not so clumsy sneakers, somewhat attractive and with support. These fit the bill.

My mother-in-law is about to turn 80. She needs comfortable shoes, and does not like Velcro straps. She really loves these shoes because they are comfortable, not heavy, and the perfect width.

I have worn Easy Spirit AP1 shoes for many years. I have leather, cotton and suede. They offer great support and provide the proper walking shoe for me. I highly recommend this shoe to anyone who requires support in their shoes.

I have been wearing this exact style for years. It always fits just right. I love Zappos because I can return with no hassle and shipping is free. I used to go to the Easy Spirit store but no more. My size is very small 5 1/2, and they would never have them. Not so with Zappos. Why would I go anywhere else?!

Zappos is the one place I can find this shoe in the right size & width. And they make it easy to buy. Easy Spirit AP1 is the only shoe that fits my foot perfectly, in size, width & comfort. It gives good support and is light weight. I am 74 and wear this shoe every day. I have tried other styles & brands, and always come back to these.

Simply put: the best walking shoes I've ever owned. I wore them daily on my recent Israel tour -- on cobblestone streets, up and down stairs, logging 15,000 20,000 steps a day. My feet felt great! NOTE: I ordered a half-size larger than normal, and would recommend doing that.

Comfortable perfect fit great walking shoe. Glad I got the right shoe for once rather than going for "style". A great choice.

I love these shoes. They are very comfortable. I wanted everyday shoes that were not athletic looking. I wear orthotics and they fit just fine in these shoes.

If you have a bunion, these are the shoes for you. Leather is soft and "forgiving". I have a pair in white and finally found black ones at Zappos.

I love theses shoes. The soft leather cradles my feet. The good arch support makes walking comfortable. The laces snug them up to my feet. And they come in my very narrow size. Perfect for wear every single day.

Wore them the first time for an outdoor event. Totally forgot I had new shoes on. Comfortable and good support.

I wore a pair of these shoes for quite a few years until they finally gave out. Needed a wider size which I couldn't find in the mall. Still one of the most comfortable shoes I've owned for walking around.

Love the Easy Spirit AP1. This is my second pair. It is so much easier using Zappos than going to a store, especially if you know your size. That shoe is not easily available in a regular store. I had to travel about an hour an one half each way to go to an outlet store for my first pair.
