If I could give these more stars I would! I absolutely LOVE them. Let's start with the look, these are second to none! I love the neutral tone it goes with everything. The feel is more important to me than the look, although it is fantastic. The cushion in these shoes is something I didn't know I needed. I don't know that I could return to a traditional shoe now. They are so soft yet supportive and make it feel that I am walking/running on air! SInce getting these I haven't reached for any other shoes and I have another pair that used to be my "go tos". I have found a new favorite!

I am absolutely in love with the W Ghost Max!! Right away, I loved the colors of the shoeslight rose pink and beige/pink were very minimalist colors and versatile with all outfits. The upper design of the shoe is sleek; the bottom is a little chunky looking but nothing crazy. The shoes are so comfortable as soon as you slip them on! The cushion in the heel and entires bottom of the shoe are very supportive and bouncy, but also feels like it molds to your foot. I first tested these out on a 4 mile walk/jog, and my feet were not a bit achy at the end of that! Additionally, I felt that it helped to resolve my lower back pain that I usually experience on longer distance trips. The shoe really felt like it was made for my foot. I have wide feet but slimmer heels so usually I experience some heel slip during runs, but these shoes keep my feet in place. The padding around the ankles is also perfect and helps with stabilization. The shoe laces are the perfect width and easily slide through the holes to tighten or loosen. I have worn them on multiple walks/runs and for errands. The whole shoe is my favorite! Definitely my go to shoe at the moment! Overall, fantastic running/walking/casual shoe! I think they are perfect for any activity, but provide a lot of support and cushion for concrete. Highly recommend!

This shoe feels great with the rocker bottom. Working in orthopedics, we often recommend shoes with a rocker bottom to help our patients with foot problems. The shoe is lightweight despite having a thicker sole. I do wish the sole had more of a cushion since it feels rather firm. The material is breathable and airy which is appreciated during the summer. The pale pink color is just right as it is still very neutral. It fits true to size. I have a narrow foot and there is still some wiggle room. Overall, this is a great shoe!

I like the improved cushioning of this new version. I hope for more exciting colors. Of course I bought the pink.

All the reviews say these are narrow or perfect, not my experience at all! The first pair I ordered in an 8 1/2 (a size Ive worn in Ghost for years) were HUGE. Wide, long clown shoes. I processed another order, which by Brooks standards means I cant get my money back until I return the original pair. The new pair, in an 8, felt so comfortable! But after wearing them I realize my toes are hitting the end when I wear them. Also, before I realized this I thought they were great and ordered another pair for beach walking, but accidentally ordered a 7. I was told that since their fulfillment process is so speedy I cant get that changed or refunded again until I receive and return the shoes. Its the next day and I still dont even have an email that theyve shipped. Im going to look for an alternative brand because my last few experiences have been less than stellar. Too bad, because I otherwise loved this shoe.

I'm a physical therapist, and I've ran/power walked in both the Ghost and Glycerin. I love both. I have been power walking in the Ghost Max for about a month rotating it with the Ghost 15 and Glycerin 20. I love the cushioning it provides and it's a very comfortable shoe. However, I'm not sure it's the best for power walking since I no longer run. I feel like it forces my foot into pronation (heel strike then rapid foot slap down) and interferes with the kinematics of my gait. It 's not as problematic with easy walking and may be okay for runners. It seemss clunky, and I feel like my peroneals have to work harder. I cannot walk as fast compared to the Ghost and Glycerin due to the way it's constructed and made to move. I'm unsure if I'll keep it in my rotation or return it. It would be interesting to see how my muscles are responding in this shoe compared to the others because power walking isn't as effortless for me with the Ghost Max. Additionally, I believe this should be it's "own" shoe and not in the Ghost line due to the drop. It's just a different type shoe altogether.

I love the shoe's cushion. However there needs to be a better attachment of the tongue, as it tends to slip to the side without better attachment closer to where the laces tie. I have a narrow foot and too many athletic shoes only come in Medium, so the toe area of the shoes tends to be slightly too roomy.

I usually run in the Ghost but wanted to try the Ghost MAx, and I am so glad I did. The additional cushion is great! Love them!

Ive been wearing Ghost shoes for several years now. I was intrigued by the changes made to the Ghost Max so I ordered them. I love the changes that create a more cushioned feel when I walk!!

Ive worn Ghost for years and really like the new Max cushion feel the width across forefoot feels perfect. I was also supervised how light they still feel even with the thick sole. Im so happy with the laces as well. More of the thick spongy feel instead of the ribbon style. Yay! Im ready for more colors

Love the cushion comfort in this shoe. My first day using them was a little awkward with the height of the shoe but adjusted fine with continued use.

Overall, these shoes are the new favorites in my rotation for a mid-distance run. They are lightweight and promote forefoot running really well. As someone recovering from back surgery, a cushioned landing is extremely important. Among the max cushioned category, Brooks has created a neutral shoe that's almost perfect. I've enjoyed several runs up to 7 miles in the Ghost Max, and my only complaint is the mild feeling of "hot spots" on the inside of both big toes while running. I will purchase again!

I've been looking for a shoe that is similar to the Hoka brand and has the cushion of the Brooks Aurora shoes. This is it! The rocker technology combined with the cushion makes for a very comfortable shoe. The wiser sole base adds to having great stability. The Aurora shoes have been my go to since the launch 2 years ago. I use the Ghost (not max) for workouts and every day. This new Max design is going to easily be in the rotation when I'd wear my Aurora shoes. Love how good they feel and the toe box isn't narrow.

The ghost max is very lightweight. The cushioning in the shoe is wonderful. Part of my path is stone and these sneakers are wonderful. I ordered my usual size and another pair 1/2 size larger. Both pair are a good fit.

Returned these. I'm a Brooks warer, but these were not as comfortable as my Ghost 15s or Glycerin20's, and the toe box seemed narrow.

I loved the Ghost Max. Usually run my few miles a week in the Ghost. The rocker feel and the cushion felt great. Some cushion shoes Ive tried feel like Im running in sand. Not these. Just enough spring. Lets see some new colors.

I love the new Ghost Max. I got the all black so I could wear them to work (I stand for at least 12 hours on a shift). I was so excited when they came out with these with more cushion than the original ghost. I like these as well as the Glycerin which have been my favorite previously.
