Perfect! Right out of the box they felt amazing.

I bought these shoes for teaching water aerobics classes on deck and they are so comfortable! My back and feet dont hurt anymore. They fit true to size.

Love the cushion, they are very comfortable. Several people have noticed and ask what kind of Brooks are they? Limited options for women size 11 wide

i love this shoe! runners with wide feet will love the roomy toe box. this shoe allowed me to order the correct size shoe because it comes in wide! light yet bouncy.

I am a huge fan of the ghost shoe in general. I thought I would try the max, since it was supposed to have extra cushion, for my long 13-hour days at work. I've been wearing them for 3 weeks now and so far I'm not a fan. I do not notice any extra cushion. My feet ache by the end of the day. Also it feels like it pitches me forward, putting excess stress on my forefoot. I am not going to give up just yet. I'm going to try them for walks and runs out on the pavement and see if maybe it works better for that. If not I will most likely be returning them.

The Ghost Max are very comfortable. Ive tried numerous other brands and so far, this shoe is my favorite! The price is comparable to other brands so fair in that regard.

My feet hurt in almost any shoe when I walk now, but I didnt experience any foot pain with these! The pink is gorgeous and I received so many compliments! Ive been struggling with different body pain these last 3 years but these didnt cause any of my usual issues. I havent run in them, but feel like I might be able to with how bouncy and soft they feel.

The Ghost Max shoes were comfortable straight from the box. They offer excellent support and cushion without feeling heavy. The upper material is lightweight and breathable. There were no tight spots or areas that needed to break in. The laces stay tied, and the tongue stays in place. The palest pink color and rose gold accent are just enough to keep the shoe from being too plain. The Ghost Max shoes performed as well on my feet at work as they did while exercising. The only thing Id change would be to add a heel tab. Overall, these shoes are super comfortable and work well both for casual/work wear as well as walking/running.

Ive been using Brooks Ghost shoes since I started training for half marathons in 2020. Ive had the Ghost 12, Ghost14 and these new Ghost Max shoes are by far my favorite. They are ridiculously light and extremely comfortable. Over 3 weeks Ive put about 61 miles on them with no blisters or sore spots, and no pain in my ankles, shins, or anywhere else! Im doing 4-5 miles on my short run days, and today (a long run) I did 9! Ive done road and trail running with no issues. Because they are my training shoes I dont wear them all day, but they are so comfortable - I easily could! I also love the ability to lace the shoe up across the top of my foot to give me more security (if needed). I am so excited to run my race in these shoes!

These W Ghost Max sneakers are super comfortable for daily, casual wear. The platform is comfortable enough for running errands, a casual work day or going to the park. I would not suggest them as running or training shoes because of the platform. The fit is true to size and they are super comfortable. The insole have a really nice support and cushion. The design is subtle and timeless. I really like the light pink color. I wouldnt change anything unless I wanted them to train. These look cute with a tennis skirt, a dress or with leggings.

I LOVE these W Ghost Max shoes! First, they provide a lot of stability without sacrificing style or shoe weight. I usually feel like shoes with larger soles feel heavier, but these dont at all. Second, blush color is also gorgeous! I would choose comfort over style in my running shoes, but these are the best of both worlds. I would highly recommend these to anyone who feels like they need a little more cushion when running. These are my new go to!

The laces were tight right out of the box. But once I loosened them up, my wider, high-arched feet slid right in. I was able to comfortably wear these shoes all-day long and Im pregnant so thats a major plus right now! I wore them running around with the kids at the park most recently without any issue. The design of these shoes are also aesthetically pleasing. I really like the color scheme. Given their comfort (especially the heel cushioning), warm-tone and appealing design, I wouldnt change a thing!

The Brooks W Ghost Max is an all-in-one shoe solution for my lifestyle. The design is not very flashy and is attractive in the lovely, soft pink. I have a number of autoimmune illnesses that make my feet very incredibly pained - even sitting at a desk or in a car with my feet resting on the floor for lengths of time causes awful pain in my soles. Without proper support, the rest of my body suffers as well. Upon first trying them on, my feet were comforted. I have experienced this before with Brooks, so I wasn't surprised (though it is always a delight). The outsole of the shoes are a bit wider and seem to give more stability when weight shifts between feet mid-stride. The laces are a sort of sponge-like material which I find to be tactilely pleasing to tie, and as a bonus they do not untie themselves - no need to double knot, even when running. Love that. The fit is perfect and true to size. These shoes were comfortable for walking distances, running distances, running errands and even for sitting for long periods. I spent two days back to back walking with and chasing three kids under age five years (read: toddlers mean you make at least three times your normal step count) through a huge museum in these shoes and still had enough pep in my step to bound up and down a few flights of stairs and take a walk with my family at the end of the second day. That's how comfortable these shoes are. My feet are very sensitive to pressure and I was deeply impressed by the comfort and support these shoes provided throughout the entire day and with so many different activities throughout my family vacation (driving/riding in a car for approximately 900 miles, running, walking, sightseeing, playing with children, hiking and just standard, day-to-day living). My favorite part of this shoe is the amount of support and comfort provided during such a broad spectrum of physical demand. I now sit through entire workdays without pain in my soles. I have not experienced that since childhood. The absence of pain would be worth every penny. I'd love to see a wide range of color options available in this shoe, including bright colors. In all, these shoes seem to provide endless comfort, after having worn them for a full month and not feeling any wear in their performance. They are aesthetically pleasing and provide great support and stability. I have a new favorite shoe and I cannot wait to have more in my collection.

My first impression was that the color combination is well matched. I hate those shoe colors that are in your face, glaring, and don't have any kind of color coordination. I like that they come already laced so they are easy to use right out of the box. I noticed that the eyelets for the laces are reinforced, which is a plus. There are also extra holes at the top for additional lacing for when that is wanted or needed, though I haven't felt the need to use them. The heel is cushioned and I haven't experienced any rubbing or slipping. The soles are thick and the insoles are comfortable. The treads look like they will last awhile. It hasn't rained, so I haven't had the opportunity to try these in wet conditions, but I expect the treads will grip and not cause slipping based on how they look and are made. I am not a runner, only doing power walking and wearing these casually, so I don't know how these compare to other running specific shoes. The only thing that I noticed about the feel of these being different than any other shoes I have worn is that they have a slope at the toe so it rounds or rolls off as I walk. This was an interesting feel at first, but I quickly got used to it and I can see how this is helpful for a more fluid stride. Overall, these are really comfortable shoes. Super stable sneaker! Now a staple in my rotation, these Brooks do not disappoint. Breathable and the right amount of support and cushion for both walking and running on a tread but equally as comfortable outside. I feel very supported when landing mid-foot and appreciate the craftsmanship that comes with all Brooks sneakers. The colors are great, fit is very true to size (although I size up 1/2 sizes in performance sneakers and this was no different) and are built to last. Run, dont walk, to get these Ghosts!

I am absolutely loving my new Ghost Max by Brooks! They are hands down the comfiest running shoe I own and I have lived in them every day since the day I got them! I am a Mom of two and do about 6 miles a day pushing a double stroller. These shoes are so comfortable and durable! The technology of the sole feels like a giant cloud to my feet, knees and back. Also, the shoe is ergonomic and helps to propel me forward all while keeping me balanced and comfy. The shoe fits true to size with no heel slip or loosening issues while I run. I also really love the colors they have because it goes with everything! Cant wait to take them on my 2 week road trip and put even more miles on them!

I've been suffering from sciatica and looking for an athletic shoe that would allow me to get back into jogging without the harsh pounding pain. These shoes are like magic. The design of the Ghost Max positions my feet and ankles back into alignment. My hip and lower back pain dulls and then goes completely away after a few strides. It's amazing. I've been wearing them around the house and during the day because of their therapeutic effects. I wish I had found them sooner!

Ive had a great experience with the Brooks Ghost brand in the past, so I was very excited to try these new W Ghost Max shoes. When I first saw them out of the box I was super excited about the color combination. While I do like a bold shoe, these are the complete opposite with more muted tones. I really like the soft pink color and the grainy wood look of the Brooks logo. The color combo is unique and compliments my wardrobe where I can wear them for working out or a casual errand in jeans. These shoes fit perfectly and are so comfy! It feels like Im walking on a cloud and have just the right amount of support, which is very important to me. I wore these shoes on a family vacation and walked several miles each day. My feet started to feel a little sore after a few hours near the tongue of the shoes, but I just brushed that off as breaking in the new pair. The soles seem a little bulkier too, but theyve grown on me. Ive continued to wear these shoes on my daily walks/hikes, fitness classes and casual errands. They feel great on my feet and I plan on adding another pair of W Ghost Max shoes to my rotation because I love them so much! You wont be disappointed with this brand of shoe!

My new shoes arrivedI was a little skeptical when I looked at the heel/cushion of this shoe. Worried I would trip over my own two feet or that I may look like I was walking on platform shoes. But what I didnt take into account was how comfy they would be! My nightly evening walks/jogs are usually around 4 miles and these shoes have been a blessing this summer in the heat and on concrete. The pads of my feet would burn from walking but I have yet to experience that with this shoe. I have high arches and the cushiony sole of these shoes envelop my feet as I walk, they are so comfy!! Another thing to note is the breathability of these shoes, my socks arent soaked after every walk and I feel they are much more vented than shoes Ive had in the past. I love the color, I do worry about the longevity with the lighter color and getting them dirty quickly but only time will tell. Overall, Im happy with my new Brooks Ghost Max and choose them over the others when I head out for some exercise!

For the past few weeks, I have been wearing my Brooks W Ghost Max running shoes almost every single day. They are extremely comfortable while running and walking. They give me great arch support and fit to perfection. Theyre definitely true to size. What I really like is even though theyre light weight, their design offers great stability while running or walking on trails. This is very important to me because Im prone to spraining my ankle. I am on my feet quite a bit at work so I thought I would try wearing them to work. Theyre wonderful! Because the shoes support my feet so well, my feet arent sore at the end of my shift or after my run/walk. As much as I love the design of the shoes, Im not a fan of their color. Other than that, theyre great.

I have been looking for an awesome running shoe that is also stylish enough for everyday wear since I'm often going right from a workout to pick up my kids. This shoe is it! To start with these shoes are incredibly comfortable. They have plenty of cushion and are comfortable enough for my runs and beyond. For me they fit true to size. They also are very cute! I have gotten many compliments on these and people asking where they can find them. Work has definitely been put into these shoes to make them great! I love the neutral colors so they go with everything in my wardrobe. These are definitely my new go to shoes!

The fit and feel of the sneakers are just right, not too tight or not too loose. Very comfortable to wear throughout the entire day. I usually wear size 8.5 for sneakers, but then I hear that its common to wear half a size larger for running shoes. Therefore, I had chosen size 9 and surprisingly, they fit very well despite the fact I didnt get to try them on beforehand. The color is Crystal Gray/White/Tuscany and the design looks very stylish. Only downside is I might have to really watch where Im walking. Otherwise, they might get dirty very fast because the base color is mainly white. I can see myself wearing them for a very long time especially to the gym or preparing for half marathon training.

I am a busy mom of 6 young children. I have been a runner for most of my life. I started running half marathons in my mid 30s, although I am not currently training for a race. My initial thought when I unboxed my W Ghost Max shoes was that the rose gold color is gorgeous, and the shoe itself looks very chunky. Because of the chunky sole, the max cushioning is extremely noticeable on the outside of the shoe. I was curious to give it a try. The W Ghost Max shoe looks great on! The shoe runs a little on the big side and the toe box is wider. I was pleasantly surprised at the extra height the shoe gave me. I was ecstatic that my husband observed that I am noticeably taller while wearing the shoe! One thing that I love is that the eyelets hold the laces tight for me while I tighten up and tie my shoe. The pretty pink fabric is breathable and they are super squishy and comfortable for walking. With these shoes, my feet feel comfortable and rested after running around with my kids and taking care of errands for my household all day. That being said, I did not enjoy running in this shoe. I typically wear a cushion support style shoe with guide rails for running. The W Ghost Max are too squishy for me. If I could change one thing, I would keep the height that the max cushion gives me in this shoe, but make it a little less squishy.

The W Ghost Max is an amazing shoe! The fit and feel are great. It feels like walking on really plush pillows. I was skeptical of the design at first, I was worried they would be really wide and make me look like I had clown shoes on, but they looked great with shorts and pants. I also got a lot of compliments while wearing them. The W Ghost Max is comfortable to wear all day, breathable, and lightweight. I like that the shoe is stylish and comfortable, I wouldn't change anything. I am definitely a Brooks fan for comfortable walking shoes!

These shoes are super comfortable for walking or running, and I love the high platform that makes me feel taller. Theres so much cushioning that it feels like stepping on clouds! When I first saw it I thought the shoes would be heavy, but it is in fact very lightweight. Its super comfortable to wear all day. I love the colors on the gray white tuscany, it goes well with almost anything. However, these shoes are like a dirt magnet - within 10 minutes of light outdoor use they were already looking dirty. The good news is that it is easy to just wipe clean the mesh and be ready for the next errand. So while I adore the color, I would probably choose a darker tone for my next pair of shoes.
