I am standing and/or walking at my job the entire day. These new Ghost Max are amazing with the extra cushioning. My plantar fasciitis has not acted up and I attribute that to the extra cushioning. I always wear 7.5 in Brooks, but these feel a little bigger than normal. They are not so big as to return for smaller size though. When I first wore them, it felt like walking on a bed. These are extremely comfortable and Ill buy them over and over. Love that they come in all black with the black sole as the dirt doesnt show. I wish all Brooks shoes offered black on black.

I love the ghost max have been buying the ghost for years but the ghost max is amazing the cushion it provides is great I got the pink but plan on buying the black one also

Wasnt able to find a wide to try on in store so I tried on a mens size and did the best I could to find the right size and due to the exchanges I had trying to find the right size I am unable to exchange this pair. Runs 1/2 size bigger and a wide is like an extra wide and the extra wide is huge. Hope this can help anyone who has wide feet like me. Would be helpful if Brooks can encourage retailers to carry wides its hard to find the right size otherwise.

I had back surgery and these shoes have been a life savor on getting me back to walking and moving.

Excellent! Love the comfort of the shoe! No break-in time. As soon as I received them I wore them the entire day! Give them a try, you wont be disappointed! (Would love to see more white shoes for wide or extra wide)

I like these and theyre comfy w lots of cushion. However theyre super wide even at medium width which I s my typical size in Brooks. Ive been wearing them for a bit now and lately my Sox are ending up inside my heel bc of the heel being so wide. I prob wont buy these again unless they come up in a narrower size. Too bad bc I liked the cushioning.

I was told the Ghost Max is the replacement for the Dyad. I do love the cushion in the Ghost Max but honestly they're not a suitable replacement for my Dyads. I've been wearing Dyads for years and they are the only shoe that my knees or hips don't eventually ache. My knees and hips both ached after the first time wearing the Max. I wanted the Ghost Max to work for me but am very disappointed and frankly don't know what I'll do when I can no longer get the Dyads. The Max is also too big. I have flat narrow feet and should have sized down because they're very sloppy on my feet.

Super comfy! Fit perfect. No pain breaking them in either.

This is my first pair of Brooks shoes - I usually wear the Adidas Boston shoes, but I finally took the plunge and signed up for a marathon and decided I needed something with more cushion that would still provide a nice smooth ride, and so far these fit the bill. They feel good and stable and I'm not having any hip pain, which I sometimes struggle with. We'll see how they hold up, but so far I'm super impressed with these shoes. As a bonus, the hot pink is super cute! :)

I got recommended these by my aunt who runs because I was looking for a supportive shoe that gave me all day comfort and i absolutely love these shoes and the comfort this is my second pair of brooks and they fit great and give me the right amount of arch support I need. I do recommend these to anyone who is in the market for new shoes for working out or just an overall supportive shoe.

Finally a shoe with lots of cushion. Ive ran several years in the Ghost collection but with each renewal they seemed to lose their comfort Decided to give Max a try. Sooo glad I did. Now to get them to make large , wide Max in MORE COLORS PLEASE

Love these sneakers!!! I have arthritis in my lower back and some hip problems, these sneakers have made it possible for me to be on feet without pain! I'll be getting another pair!!

I love these.. trying to make them work with thick socks and an insole - I normally wear a 6 in brooks but these are sized really big in my opinion if they made them in a 5 1/2 I would have exchange the 6 for a smaller size

These fit true to size and didnt require any break in out of the box. They are very comfortable. I have flat feet but had plenty of room. Before I put them on, I thought they felt quite heavy, but while running, you really couldnt notice the weight at all. My only critique would be that the cushion feels a bit firm still after several runs. I was hoping for a bit of a softer feel, but am overall still very happy with these.

Ghost shoe 20/10. Wore two days and my calves no longer hurt! I stand a minimum of 12 hours and highly recommend these not just for runners but for people who stand a lot. I also like that there is airflow in the heel area.

I own several pairs of Brooks athletic shoes & these are the most comfortable. I love the rocker feature & they are lighter than my other shoes. Fits true to size.

When I saw the announcement for these via email I knew I wanted to give them a try because of how they look and the heel-to-toe drop being lower than my other running shoes. I have not tried the regular ghost of any iteration and cannot compare. I work 6 days per week, up to 11 hours a day, so I needed something for standing and walking for long periods of time. As soon as I put these on I was impressed. They were comfortable and I felt light on my feet, easy to walk in. After a coupe weeks of use I am still loving them. I even ended up running in them (only 2 mi) and liked them for that as well. I plan to get another pair in a different color in the next few months so I don't break these ones down too fast by wearing them everyday. True to size, 8.5 is what I have for all other running shoes including other brands and that fit well in this model. I enjoy the lower heel-to-toe drop on these, 6mm vs 10mm on my other shoes.

So comfortable! Comparable to Hoka type comfort and cushion. Love the pink color! Love the sleek design and finally something more cushy than other Brooks. Theyre supportive and my feet/ankles dont hurt after 9 hr work day.

While I am not a runner, I put on a lot of steps walking and strength training with Ghost Max. These have been a saving grace to my foot recovery. I've had a Great Toe fusion, metatarsalgia, and a neuroma. I need to wear a wide width and these also accommodate my under pronation. Finally a shoe that provides relief!! I'd buy every color if they were available in wide widths. Please be creative and offer other colors besides the standard black and white.

These shoes were comfortable, but I rated them low because the role fell apart so quickly. It is very lightweight foam, and just scuffing the inside of the shoe again, your other foot caused it to break down, and the bottom of the shoe was almost completely worn away in a few areas in a very short time.

I have owned many pairs of Brooks running shoes over the years and was excited to try the new Ghost Max shoes. Right off the bat, I love the rose gold/pink color of the shoes - they look great on my feet and the neutral colors can match with many outfits. I was a little concerned the larger platform bottom would feel awkward when walking or running, but they actually felt very stable. I especially liked the rocker-like sole, which really did help propel me forward when walking and running and had a "walking on clouds" feeling. They are surprisingly lightweight for how large the sole is. I am deducting one star for comfort of the inner sole. Don't get me wrong, they are great for a short walk/run/workout, but the times I've work them casually around town all day, I found my feet to be a little achy at the end of the day. I am 28 weeks pregnant, so I am carrying some additional weight these days - so this might not be a universal problem. I personally just found the insoles to be rather hard and would have preferred a tad more padding. Overall though, these are a comfortable and good looking shoe for running, jogging, walking or working out.

Most comfortable shoes Ive stepped in they feel so fluffy. They are on the bulkier side but not as much as HOKAS but still look chunkier than the rest.they are a little wide on the toes. I have small feet and ordered half size up because for the adrenalines I got half size bigger, so I thought it would be the same but no. These are a tad bigger, I want another pair but Im gonna stick to my true size.

Just got my ghost max in the mail today, and babbbyyyy, when I sayI put them on and my heel pain instantly STOP. I need the black ones, brooks we need MORE COLORS PLEASE!
