Please dont change a thing I struggle so much to find running shoes I like and these are perfect!

I have sensitive feet I put these shoes on and from day 1 they have wore like a dream. I will order more of this brand.

these are great! theyre not narrow like most running shoes Ive encountered. like running on a cloud! perfect for long distance

I am older so I am all about soft comfort, and this shoe delivers. I love the Max. Had more soft feel and more return on my step than the NB 1080 v13. Will stay with these. Thank you.

I've been wearing Brooks Adrenaline for about 10 years and decided to try the Ghost Ma based on the Brooks online "Shoe Finder" recommendation. The Ghost Max is cushioned and very comfortable for my everyday walking shoe. I find that all the Brooks shoes are a bit wide on my heel, so I use the "butterfly" lacing to hold the heel tighter. The last few Brooks shoes I've bought had shoelaces that were too short to use that lacing, and I've had to buy longer laces. I've been unable to find replacement laces that fit the holes well, so it's hard to tie the shoes. That's a small complaint, but it does reduce my enjoyment of the shoes.

Just received my shoes today and I must say they're one of the most comfortable pair of running shoes I've tried. No heel slip and very minimal slip with my custom orthotics; I don't even think I need my inserts. I appreciate the free beanie especially since the shoes aren't on sale. The only thing is I'm not thrilled with the color papaya. I wish they offer better color selection (like with their adrenaline GTS 22's - I have the black, yucca and flamingo pink).

I am not a runner. Im a walker. I just love these shoes. I did have to order a larger size. My podiatrist recommended the Ghost Max because of all the problems I have with my feet. I love the extra cushion. First time I kept a shoe on most of the day. Thank you!

This is by far the most expensive piece of footwear Ive ever owned in my life, I thought this would be really great shoe at $159, I was really looking forward to this. A nice footbed, Felt immediately stable. However this is one of the warmest sneakers Ive ever owned, not in a good way. My feet get so hot and sweat like i cant believe. With that heat comes odor. I can tell you this happened within a handful of days of wearing them. I dont have any idea what these are made of; they are topped with What looks like a breathable material. But breathe, no way, the odor comes right thru that fabric- I dont feel their breathing at all. I cant put my finger on the odor either. its like nothing Ive had in any piece of footwear. Absolutely wont purchase in the future. After a week of that, I ended up purchasing shoe spray its just not good and this is not happening with any other pair of footwear i own including my Dansko which are known to run warm after a day in them. Really disappointed.

Very cushioned shoe. Prefer my glycerin for running. Painful to my ankle stabilizers following run as they had to control all the motion from the cushion. These will be walking and work shoes.

Doesnt feel like youre running on cement!

Ive been wearing Ghosts since Ghost 12 and this is my favorite. I dont need to wear wide sizes but I do have bunions that typically ache after long runs. These provide plenty of room and support. I was nervous the heel would feel too cushioned but that definitely hasnt been the case.

I loved my ghost 15s so I thought I would like these but they were snug and gave me a blister. They were like SUPER stiff, it was odd. I am bummed about it especially given the cost.

I am still not sure if these shoes are working out for me! I have less problems with my feet but I am feeling my knees a lot more while running in them. They work better than the Adrenaline GTS but not as well as the Glycerin GTS! I wish Brooks will make wider shoes, so people like me will have some options.

Love this shoe! Ghosts have been my go to work shoe for a while now, Id work out my last pairs so gave these a try, this shoe is even better!! Enough structure and support for the hours of walking & standing on hospital tile floors. My feet dont ache anymore. Love the bright pink color, looks great with scrubs.

The best cushioning in a sneaker. Soft n absorbs impact while running or walking up steep inclines. Love this sneaker as I can put my orthotics in shoe n still have plenty of room for my toes without feeling squished

Neutral shoes (done like this) are perfection. My toes have been hurting with shoes that all the experts claim one should wear because they have some sort of drop. Well, I got news for folks like me who have been thinking that a drop in shoes is necessary for ease of movement or comfort. The Ghost Max by Brooks is - fantasy turned real - for those who need excellent toe room and bouncy cushioning with stability that feels far more than a smooth ride and rather like I didnt know I could fly and did I just walk 6 hours without feeling any strain on any part of my anatomy. I bought these warily thinking only of the cushioning and boy, have I ever underestimated a shoe. All I can say is these are blow my socks off good for my feet, neutral shoes with divine cushioning are the way to go (lesson learned) and there is a possibility of real heartbreak here if Brooks ever turns its back on these shoes. I am hoping you are listening Brooks and, just in case you are, how about a waterproof version? Too soon? Thanks much.

These are absolutely amazing! Ive been an avid Ghost runner for 8 years the max really delivers what the traditional ghost does but adds that extra comfort!!!

I LOVE this shoe for my recovery runs and walks. It was definitely an unexpected surprise. I do NOT wear Ghost and have never liked them...so was shocked by how much I loved this shoe! I tried running my longer runs in it, but they didn't work for that. So I keep them to lower mileage recovery runs and walks and love them for that!

While I do love my other pair of Brooks, Everytime I wear these ones I get a stitch in my calf after half a mile...everytime. These also are WALKING/RUNNING shoes - they will not keep you stable standing because of their propelling/bunch design. I'm probably just going to donate them since they're not helping me walk at all.

I love my ghost max! It's just the right fit for me. When it comes to the cushioning, it's top-notched. I like the pink/purple one but I ran out of stock so I got the papaya which is not a big deal when It comes to the color way. I hope Brooks will add more color way to the ghost max.

I adore these shoes!! For the first time in years Ive had no foot pain. After wearing them a week I went to order another pair but the extra wide are sold out at every place I know to look . Please make the cute colorful shoes available in wider sizes. Multiple people ask this of your company. I have read the request over and over on different platforms and now Im adding my request. We love your shoes! Make the cute ones for our problem feet please! Great shoe!

Too narrow in the midfoot for my custom orthotics to sit flat in there. The soft heel seemed like an exceptional way to hurt yourself. Sad that the sneaker market is going in this direction

The Ghost Max looks and feels great on my runs and walks. Each step feels smooth. I feel the extra and protection the shoe offers. In addition to running, I have been wearing the Ghost Max as my recovery shoe. I had to buy a 2nd pair.

Love this shoe for walking on treadmill. Very comfortable and supportive. Feet dont hurt anymore when Im done.
